What Shows Am I Watching This Week?

Hello everyone and welcome back! Let's dive right in shall we?

FINISHED The Umbrella Academy Season 2

So yeah I know I'm a little late in terms of reviewing this show cause it did come out three weeks ago but hey I finally got around to it and that's what counts! I actually really enjoyed this season possibly more than the previous one which is honestly most likely cause now that I've watched two seasons of Doom Patrol and a season of this, I was totally ready for all the crazy we were going to be thrown our way. My favorite part of this show is the way our main characters interact with each other so at first it was a rough start to the season with the characters all being spread out but I loved the way they came back together and how they were even able to save Vanya. I also really like the way this show plays with time travel and the consequences of time travel cause it shows us that pretty much any move you make with time will screw you and it makes me really curious as to what we'll see in the next season. I'm assuming that cause Reginald met the Umbrella Academy that he realized that they were all morons and so when he went to pick his 7 kids, he chose differently this time hoping that they'd be more up his alley and so far it does look like the Sparrow Academy is more well trained and clearly still living in the mansion. It makes me wonder where the Umbrella Academy of this time is and if our main characters are going to be replacing the present day versions of themselves or if there will just be 2 of each of the cast running around. At the very least it does look like Ben is back which is amazing cause he was defs one of my favorites. Maybe Herald and Lila will be part of the Sparrow Academy now cause we know that they were two other kids with powers that Reginald didn't pick up. 

Fruits Basket Season 2 Episode 19

I do have to admit that this episode wasn't one of my favorites even though I was really excited for Tohru and Rin to interact. Something about the pacing of the episode just felt so disjointed like we jumped from one POV to another without any transitions. I did hardcore have to laugh at how easily Rin was won over by Tohru despite her acting as if she wouldn't give Tohru the time of day. All it took was one look at Tohru from a distance and Rin saw what a kind gentle person Tohru was and like Yuki, she craved the motherly figure that Tohru could be. The two were finally able to talk and realize that they had the same goal and that maybe they should work together to break the curse though I still can't help but wonder how cause it seems like no one knows how it works. It also seems more and more like the curse itself isn't the fact that the Sohmas turn into zodiac spirits but that they are bonded to Akito and have no say in that bond. The episode also made me wish that someone could see Tohru's heartbreak and help her the way that she helps others. Why can't they see that her happy-go-lucky persona is just a mask that hides her broken soul though I wonder if Rin actually saw the way Tohru is broken cause she said she wishes that Tohru had a Haru like she did. It did seem like Tohru was looking at Kyo's door at the end as if she could gain strength from him after her nightmare. Yuki also seemed to have made a decision to be stronger but I'm not sure how that's any different than the decision he made back during the beach arc. 

FINISHED Stargirl Season 1 Episode 13

So this week was the season 1 finale of Stargirl and overall I think it was a fairly good outing though not the most emotional or impactful episode of the season! The biggest shock ended up being the final moments of the episode in which we saw the return of Sylvester aka Starman and whether he's actually returned from the dead or if he's some sort of evil clone. The ISA v JSA fight on the other hand was mostly meh and it left me feeling as though the ISA was defeated waaay too easily especially since we saw how they soundly beat the original JSA. Jordan, Dr Ito, and Brainwave all died throughout the fights leaving only the Gambler, Sportsmaster, Tigress and Solomon Grundy as ISA members though I have a feeling that Cindy will end up taking over the ISA with Isaiah and possibly Cameron now out for revenge. Cindy also found some sort of gem that she called Eclipso and we saw the return of Shade who we knew turned on the ISA cause of Jordan making me wonder if Shade thought that Jordan's plan was not evil enough. The best parts of the episode however ended up being the quieter character moments such as Beth realizing how to break the ISA control on Justin and Pat and Courtney finally telling Pat that she sees him as a father. I also wonder if Yolanda killing Brainwave will come back next season and whether Rick saving Solomon Grundy will make him like Rick like Grodd loves Caitlin over on Flash.

We have been renewed for a season 2 but it's moving from the DC App to CW and I'm a little worried cause one of the highlights of this show has been it's high budget effects and compact writing style so here's hoping that even if the CGI and fight choreography gets dialed back that at least the writing and low soap opera drama will stay the same!

FINISHED Agents Of SHIELD Season 7 Episode 12 & 13

You know I really thought that I would be more sad after this show came to an end but right now I'm mostly just numb and I have a feeling the sadness will show up at some point later this week as it'll all hit me at once. Overall I do think it was a pretty amazing finale even if there were moments here and there that I wasn't about. I still wish that there was more Fitz this season but we were totally right in guessing that Fitz and Simmons had a baby and actually while our team were off on their mission, it was only a few minutes in Fitz's time so he had been ready to go and save the day. I did love their vast reaching plan though and I was glad that Jemma's memory loss was fixed in the end. It was also nice to see Piper and Davis and Flint and even a young Victoria Hand! I also liked the creative way we ended up saving the day by bringing everyone back to the original timeline and giving the Chronicoms empathy rather than killing them though that is how Nathanial and Sybil were dealt with. I still don't understand why all our agents needed to spread out cause like it made sense that Fitz and Simmons would retire and maybe even for May to teach at the Academy but Daisy, Mack, and YoYo splitting up just felt like the show needed everyone apart. It was hilarious though that we spent seasons upon seasons acting like these ten or so agents were the only ones in SHIELD but now that the show is over suddenly SHIELD is returning to pre-Avengers levels? Honestly though I'm just glad that most of our characters got happy endings and I'm definitely going to miss this world, this cast, and this writing style.

Fruits Basket Season 2 Episode 18

This week was intense on a level we haven't seen in a while cause of course it was sad like every other zodiac backstory but it was also horrifying. We've known Rin for a while now but we didn't actually get her backstory until this week and now I completely understand why people have been talking nonstop about how Rin is their girl and how they would kill for her. I will never understand why all the Sohma parents are such horrible people cause to me I can't see the zodiacs as monsters or burdens or whatever the bad zodiac parents view their kids as since it's like they're all still your children no matter what and turning into animals once in a while isn't even that creepy! Rin's parents as it turns out might be the worse of the bunch cause they not only mentally and emotionally abused Rin but they also psychically hurt her too. It's made even worse by the fact that Akito in her rage shoved Rin out of a window cause Rin had the audacity to "seduce" one of Akito's possessions which is fascinating cause I'm wondering who Rin reminds Akito of as Akito's reaction to Rin and Haru was leagues worse than Hatori, Hiro, or Kisa so it can't just be a matter of Rin being a woman. The only good thing in Rin's life was Haru and I almost cried with how cute they were which makes it worse that Rin is pushing Haru away in order to protect him from Akito. Now that Tohru saved her I'm hoping that the two will be able to talk to each other and figure out that they should work together to break the Sohma curse. As this is a shojo I can't help but wonder if it would be as simple as love but more specifically truly loving the cat spirit cause the cat is the most hated of the spirits.

Stargirl Season 1 Episode 12

This week was the penultimate episode of the first season of Stargirl and it was the perfect build up to the finale next week! Tigress and Sportsmaster went off to kill Courtney and her family but were thwarted because Courtney fought off Tigress with her staff and Mike surprised Sportsmaster as he fought Pat. I was seriously worried that this show might end up killing Mike cause it definitely has no problem killing characters but luckily not only did he finally find out the truth but he managed to get out and is safe so far though I could see Sportsmaster and Tigress killing him while the others are away. They did kill Bowen which was the weirdest scene cause Bowen basically egged them into killing her by randomly talking about how unlucky their daughter is for having parents like them when it's like dude you've got a mission why are you talking about this? I did like the idea of all of our crew hiding in the woods while we came up with a plan though I kind of wish we had a full episode of the crew in hiding or fighting off the ISA as they came to the cabin. I also still don't understand the ISA's plan cause even now when Beth read off their manifesto, it's actually all good and I can't really see anyone other than Jordan actually caring about racism or universal healthcare so it's like what do the others get out of it? Why did Brainwave have to kill his own son for this? I do like the idea of the machine only working on adults cause it gives a reason why our JSA is all full of teens and I like the idea of having to fight Pat and Barbara.

Agents Of SHIELD Season 7 Episode 11

For the penultimate episode of the final season of SHIELD I do have to say that it wasn't exactly what I wanted. I still really hate the idea that after this season ends that our crew will all split up and live normal lives cause it's like seriously that's not how an agency like SHIELD would work! Would bad things just stop happening cause SHIELD isn't a team anymore?? We did confirm that we're in a new branch timeline which I sort of assumed was already known by our team cause this isn't exactly the first time our agents time traveled but it was a little surprising cause until this episode I did sort of assume that we'd somehow go back and fix things but maybe in the end this will be better cause so many lives we lost over the course of the seasons might be saved starting with Ward. I'm going to be so totally sad when he doesn't appear this season cause I'm worried that the shoutout he got this week will be all we see of him! On that note we did get Fitz which I almost screamed about and now I'm almost fairly certain that the internet theories about a Fitzsimmons baby that I first laughed off are true. It doesn't exactly explain why Jemma had a full mental breakdown during the time loop but I'm also not really worried about Jemma forgetting Fitz cause maybe when she takes Diana out, they'll all return. Daisy and Daniel are also super cute together and I loved that Mack and YoYo had bet on them getting together and how he gave Daniel the shovel talk. Sybil also brought in reinforcements and they managed to destroy every SHIELD base on the planet taking out HYDRA with them but it brings me back to the confusion over whether we'll fix the timeline cause if SHIELD isn't around then they couldn't save Cap and form the Avengers therefore stopping Thanos in the future so we can't have that!

The promo for next week almost made me cry cause it's the last one we're ever going to get and after the two hour finale that's going to air next week, we'll never get any more SHIELD and that's heartbreaking. What I wish is for old SHIELD members like Bobbi, Hunter, and Ward to come back but I don't think that'll happen so at the very least I'd like Fitz to show up and help save the day cause I will be pissed beyond measure if we only see him in the last few minutes of the episode after the day is saved just to see Jemma reunite with him and their baby.

Fruits Basket Season 2 Episode 17

Even when we have a happy episode I find that my heart is in my throat anyway cause it's just so damn cute!! The kids went on a school trip to Kyoto and are continuing to take steps forward in their emotional growth though I suppose an argument could be made that Kyo has actually taken a step back. He's been uber grouchy since Akito and this week he took it out on some random girl who wanted to confess her love to him but the interesting thing to note is what he said about how he feels no need to be nice to people he doesn't care about. The poor thing is clearly worried about his time being wasted but to others it sounds like he's just being a right asshole. At the very least though he's the only one of our main trio that actually understands his emotions. Yuki is still super confused about what he feels for Tohru though he's clearly protective of her with Kyo and Kakeru. Speaking of Kakeru, I'm still interested in why he's so interested in Tohru especially now that we know he's got a girlfriend that he loves. Meanwhile Tohru is falling more and more in love with Kyo but the little cutie has no idea cause she's just running around worrying about him falling in love with another girl and feeling like her heart is about to fall right out of her chest when he smiles at her. It was the cutest thing that she handmade a cat zodiac to go with her collection and I can't believe that Kyo hasn't jumped her yet cause that melted my heart. Uo was also struggling with her feelings but Tohru didn't mention that Kureno is a Sohma cause she knows that it'll only hurt Uo more.

I'm really curious about the title for next week being Wanna Kiss? cause I'm sure that it'll end up being like Shigure teasing Tohru or something but I will melt into a giant puddle if it's a real couple saying that let alone Kyo and Tohru though I'm like 99% sure it's too early in the show for those two to get together.

Stargirl Season 1 Episode 11

This show is stunningly well done and I'm always low key in awe of how much love has been put into the writing. It's nowhere near an Arrowverse show which is a really good thing cause as much as I love those mindless popcorn shows, a show that places this much love into it's story is leagues more exciting to watch. At first I was worried that this episode would focus too much on Justice aka Shining Knight and not on the aftermath of Henry's death but luckily it managed to balance it perfectly alongside Courtney's real dad's return and Jordan's conflict. I loved that we finally met Courtney's dad and that he was nothing more than your run-of-the-mill jerk cause I like the idea that Courtney is worthy of the Staff just cause of her herself and what a good person she is rather than due to her genes or the fact that her father was Starman before her. It also showed her that she actually already has a dad by her side in Pat and I loved the way she reached out to him over and over in times of crisis and how different he was than her actual dad in how he was like this is all about you so if you need to yell or cry, I'm right here. It still makes me feel horrible about poor Mike who's seriously been left out of everything too much and it broke my heart when he asked Pat what he did wrong. Fortunately I don't think this secret will last too much longer with Brainwave on his way to kill the entire family. Jordan was hesitant to kill Courtney and Pat cause of his crush on Barbara but after he realized that she knows the truth too, he was able to pass on the kill order.

Agents Of SHIELD Season 7 Episode 10

When I first heard that this season would be playing with time travel I was really curious about which route we would take. Would we screw up the timeline for fun cameos and exciting stakes or would we try to keep the timeline intact and pretend like our SHIELD team was just playing in the background while major events happened which admittedly is the more boring option. In the end it was option 1 that was chosen and at first I was really excited about the changes but after this week I'm almost completely certain that we're going to end up changing everything back the way it was. Mack's parents' death could be ignored cause Mack was at least alive already but when Jiaying was killed I was like oh nope we're definitely going to have a moment where we fix everything cause there's no way that Jiaying dies before Daisy is even born! I'm also really upset that Nathanial really does look like the villain we'll be fighting until the end of the season cause he's the worst but I'm not ashamed to admit that I let out a shriek when Garrett showed up this week. I am a little disappointed we're done with jumping through time cause the only two things I wanted from this season was Fitz and to see Ward again! With three episodes left I'm sure we'll see Fitz but it sucks that we might not get a Ward cameo cause he was only just born in 83! Kora is also a little too on-the-nose evil and I don't understand how she's magically got control of her powers after five minutes of meeting Nathanial when years at Afterlife couldn't help.

Next week's promo really only showed us Kora interacting with our SHIELD agents but with Deke on board the Zephyr, I'm sure he'll be able to help save Jemma and I really really hope that Fitz shows up to save the day. Maybe we'll also find out what exactly Nathanial wants.

Fruits Basket Season 2 Episode 16

I hate this show for making me cry every week! I mean you literally cannot watch this week's episode and not cry unless you're heartless! The whole theme of this episode was missing someone you loved and whether it would be better or worse for them not to be around or to be here but you couldn't see them. Tohru ended up going to the Sohma estate cause she found out from Uo that the man she was in love with was someone named Kureno and it made Tohru think that maybe it was the Kureno Sohma she met. On her way there she met up with little Momo who broke my heart anew cause she apparently had been watching Momiji for a while in secret cause she thought he looked like their mom and wanted to ask him to be her big brother so they could play together and the saddest thing was how she decided to play violin so that they might learn together only for Momiji's father to be like sorry Momiji but you have to stop going to the teacher that taught you for years cause it's too dangerous and the whole thing was so hateful cause it's not like the teacher can't have two students or something! The one thing Momiji wants is to play violin and his dad is even taking that away. It wasn't Momiji's fault that he was born with a spirit! The whole thing made her think of her mom and how much she wishes that she could see her again but can't just like Momiji with his family. Kureno and Uo also added to this cause they both clearly want to see each other so much but Kureno is afraid to go against Akito and bring Uo into this world. It's kinda similar to Kyo and how much he loves Tohru but how he told her that when she falls in love, he'll be there to help her cause it's like not even in the back of his mind does he hope that Tohru would love him back and honestly it's the sweetest and made Tohru cry though I think it was more of a subconscious thought since she doesn't realize that she loves Kyo yet.

Stargirl Season 1 Episode 10

This show is absolutely insane and the stakes are seriously higher than I've ever experienced in a superhero show! In most shows you know that pretty much the entire cast will be safe from harm just based on the fact that shows don't usually kill off main characters but Stargirl has no qualms with making you love a character only to lose them. I mean it was crazy enough when Joey Zarick and his parents were killed by Icicle but this week we had Brainwave kill his own son Henry and we find out that he killed his wife Merri too. As it turned out Merri was Starman's sister and cause Icicle saw that she was changing Brainwave into a good person, he lured the JSA to be killed knowing that Merri would never forgive Brainwave for killing her brother and apparently after that Brainwave made a decision and picked the ISA over his own wife. It was absolutely shocking and horrible and I'm so upset cause I finally was on board with Henry being a good guy only to have him die. I wonder how this will affect the current JSA members cause now they definitely know how evil the ISA is if they're willing to kill their own children for the "cause." Meanwhile Barbara and Pat went through some stuff cause she found out the truth and though at first it looked like she was ready to leave Blue Valley and possibly divorce Pat, it now looks like maybe she might end up joining the team instead cause she's got a great position to spy. Other important news looks to be the fact that Courtney's real dad might still be alive cause he emailed Barbara back and though I'm not surprised with the fact that her dad isn't Starman, I'll be interested to know if he's an important character or just a throwaway civilian.

Agents Of SHIELD Season 7 Episode 9

Man this episode was depressing as hell but mostly just cause of the ending! My favorite thing about this episode was that SHIELD gave the whole time loop episode an exciting twist by giving our characters a deadline so they couldn't just jump endlessly. Of course that meant that there was no comedy to be found since our characters were looping towards death. It was seriously awful that the whole thing ended with Enoch's death cause Enoch has always been one of the best characters on this show but I guess it helps that his best moments are with Fitz and with Fitz not being in this season, it stings a little less. Speaking of, we still didn't get any Fitz but we did manage to get Jemma's implant out for a few seconds to figure out how to fix the Time Drive and Jemma had a full mental breakdown which makes me even more curious as to why Fitz is in hiding! I know the popular theory around the internet is the idea that Fitz is in hiding with their daughter but I can't imagine that she would breakdown like this or that she and Fitz would program Enoch to kill her before letting her memories come back. Another thing to note was the fact that Daisy and Sousa kissed and though it got reset, I'm sure that Daisy won't forget it and at first I wondered if she would go for it but after what Enoch said at the end about this being the last mission these SHIELD agents would go on, I'm wondering if she'll decide that spending time with the team is more important. Speaking of, what in the world did Enoch mean by that? I know this is the final season of SHIELD but I sort of assumed that the show would end with pretty much how every other season did with the team staying together but us just not seeing their adventures anymore. The real plot twist would be if Fury showed up and was like we don't need SHIELD anymore so come with me to SWORD and that's what breaks them up cause some would like a normal life on Earth while others go on the adventure again.

Next week's promo shows us that we're returning to Nathaniel and Afterlife and though I'm happy we'll be getting more Jiaying, I do kinda hope we can deal with Nathaniel next week cause I'm already over him as a villain.

What Shows Am I Watching This Week?

Hello everyone and welcome back! Let's dive right in shall we?

Fruits Basket Season 2 Episode 15

This episode really should have been renamed Aya is an angel cause he is!! He swooped in to save Yuki at the exact moment Yuki needed him the most and we all swooned! Okay but seriously this week was the parent/teacher conference episode and to my surprise it actually only lasted one episode instead of a multiple episode arc like I expected. I can't decide if this was a good or a bad thing though. Part of me is content with how it all played out but the rest of me thinks that we could have squeezed out so much beautiful angst! Hana and Uo mostly just were there for comedic effect though it was interesting to note that Hana seemed to have a crush on Kazuma which was hilarious. Kyo didn't pay much attention to his meeting cause he's pretty much given up fighting against Akito and imprisonment but what Kazuma said to him was still so sweet while Tohru decided to keep following her mom's goals and work after graduation though from what I can gather it seems like she's just doing all this in order not to fall into a pit of despair. It's been clear for a while that Tohru likes to push away her emotions and focus on others but I really liked the metaphor we got this week of her most emotional moments shoved into a box and the shipper in me was thrilled that alongside her dad and mom were her feelings for Kyo! Yuki's meeting was the most important I think cause it finally gave us a glimpse of his mom and how she's both controlling but also uncaring. I'm not sure why I was expecting her to be worse honestly but after Akito's brand of emotional, mental, and physical abuse I guess no one can hold a candle though I did like that Yuki was able to stand up to her in the end as he realized (the same as all of us children do at some point) that our parents aren't the big scary mountains we thought they were. Of course on a more positive note, the best part of the whole episode was when Aya swooped in and Yuki told him that he was dependable. Aya and I both teared up!

Stargirl Season 1 Episode 9

This was a strange mishmash episode cause I feel like it was attempting to do a whole bunch of things at the same time! Since Henry got his powers last week and found his father's secret hideout, he went back and watched all the videos that Brainwave filmed as he slowly learned about his powers. As we found out, Brainwave got his powers from running tests on himself and slowly being able to read minds drove him a little crazy cause he realized that people were monsters and Henry started to feel that way too. Meanwhile Courtney attempted to talk to him and recruit him for the JSA side and though he shut her down, I have a feeling that she was right when she said that he's probs just reading the surface level of thoughts where we think whatever spontaneous thing that comes to mind rather the inner thoughts we have which are probably full of love. Yolanda also visited him and basically threatened him and it was interesting to see the way Henry interacted with her all full of guilt and remorse so I think in the end I agree with Courtney that he can't be all bad like Cindy. The most surprising part was the fact that it looks like Brainwave woke up but his tone was so strange that I'm wondering if he somehow got amnesia or lost his telepathic powers so he can remember who Henry is but not that he probs brain blasted him. On the other hand we had Jordan and Cameron coming to dinner where Jordan's parents decided that they liked Barbara but not Courtney in what I'm assuming means as a wife for Jordan. Courtney also guessed that Jordan must be Icicle which is totally going to ruin her thing with Cameron but also Barbara found out about the Staff and I have a feeling it's going to ruin Barbara and Pat's relationship though whether it'll push Barbara into Jordan's arms we'll have to wait and see.

Agents Of SHIELD Season 7 Episode 8

Am I the only one who completely forgot that Jiaying had a daughter before Daisy and that daughter killed herself cause she control her powers?? Yeah just me? Well then. I was so confused about why the show kept focusing so much on Kora only for Jiaying to be like I need to find my daughter and everything just clicked. I can't wait until Daisy gets to interact with her just to see how she would. It already sucks a little that she couldn't meet Jiaying this episode and while normally I'd be like it's probs not good to see her anyway cause then Jiaying in season 2 would remember meeting Daisy, we're playing with the multiverse theory in this show so it wouldn't really matter if they did interact especially since Jiaying and Gordon were the only ones to escape Nathanial's attack on Afterlife and I can't help but feel like that changes the original timeline anyway so why not give us all the fan service?? YoYo and May worked through YoYo's block and as it turned it, it was psychological and not physical so once YoYo was able to forgive her past actions, she actually unlocked more powers in that now she doesn't have to bounce back to where she started so she's more like the Flash now. Coulson got a new body and Sousa got a new leg but we weren't able to stop the time drive from jumping around and literally every week where there's a problem I'm sitting here like oh is this where Fitz will appear and save the day??

The promo for next week shows us that we're somehow going to be stuck in the time stream and like I said earlier, I'm wondering if Fitz will somehow be the one to save the day. It's a little strange cause I totally thought we'd be dealing with Jiaying and Afterlife for another episode since we can't just leave Nathanial running amock but maybe we'll get to that in two weeks.

What Shows Am I Watching This Week?

Fruits Basket Season 2 Episode 14

Ahh so the second half of this second season is officially starting and you can tell cause the opening changed! So far I do prefer the opening from the first half but maybe this one will grow on me! I do know that I like the new ending! This episode once again felt like the calm before the storm the way that the episodes before the beach arc did and this time around it feels like our next big battle will take place during the parent/teacher conferences. It's going to cause all of our Sohma characters to have to interact with their parents again especially Yuki who's parents we haven't seen much of but Yuki's clearly terrified of his mom so there's that. So much plot moved forward this week that I don't know where to start! Kyo as it seems has been distant from everyone ever since his meeting with Kagura but the thing is that he seemed fine last week and he seemed fine after his meeting with Kagura so I'm wondering if this is meant to be a lingering effect from meeting Akito instead. He's no longer fighting with Yuki and he's quietly watching Tohru from a distance as if he's already given up and ready to watch the world move along from his cage. I did love that despite everything, he was there to pick Tohru up when her world was falling apart again. Tohru's grandpa hurt his back and it caused her to flashback to right after her dad died and to what seems like her mom not doing well without him. Meanwhile we saw more of Rin and Haru and how sweet the two's relationship was all the way back from childhood. She's clearly trying to break the Sohma curse but I'm not sure how pushing Haru away would help but I did like that Haru was like I don't blame her cause clearly I'm not strong enough to be her safe shelter yet. It was also interesting to note that it was Haru begging Shigure that allowed Akito to let Yuki leave his side.

Stargirl Season 1 Episode 8

This episode was a big old yikes in terms of how literally everyone knows that Courtney is Stargirl now! What's the point of masks when the villains know who you are?? I do suppose it's better that it's the kids that figure it out over the adults cause they might think that it'd be funny to taunt the others with their secret identities compared to the adults who'd kill their families to keep the ISA safe. I seriously can't decide if I think Henry Jr will be a good or bad guy cause unlike Cindy, he's had moments of goodness but at the same time with Brainwave down for the count, the ISA would need him and with Courtney being the one to put his dad in the hospital, it'll be easy for them to pull him to their side. I also think it's hilarious that the show pretty much entirely forgot about the big dance that was so important last week and I'm sitting here wondering if poor Cameron is just walking around the school thinking Courtney stood him up. The stuff with Pat, Beth, Yolanda and Rick was alright but my favorite thing was exhausted Pat just being exhausted with everything the kids do. This is why you don't get teenagers to be heroes! I also actually really loved the scene with Mike and Courtney where he apologized for snapping at her last week and that they both were like I'm happy your my family now cause it was sweet and I'm still low key waiting for him to pick up the pink pen and become a hero too cause duh.

Agents Of SHIELD Season 7 Episode 7

If I'm being honest, this episode was fun on paper but in actuality not one of my favorites from this season. Not only did it ask you to logistical problems and pay attention on what we got but it also focused on Mack and his grieving process which was mostly meh to me. As much as I like Deke and I usually love the bottle episodes where the whole episode is focused on one or more SHIELD characters, this one wasn't as good as previous ones which might low key be because I'm still waiting on Fitz or because it had no fun cameos but either way I was pretty much just waiting for this episode to end. Mack and Deke spent 20 months in the 1980s and during that time Mack spent most of it mourning while Deke built a team of SHIELD agents and found Coulson's mind drive which survived the explosion from last week. Also having survived last week was Sybil and Nathanial Whitehall who have now teamed up to do evil though we haven't actually learned what the plan is. The interesting thing to note is that Coulson did blow up all the Hunters that the Chronicoms had and I think we're left with only Sybil and her mind drive though I'm assuming that her mind drive has all the other Chronicoms too otherwise we've pretty much won the fight. At the very least this episode allowed us to cheat and say that Mack mourned his parents without actually having to live through it and it was also really sweet to find out how much Deke cares with how he was taking care of little Mack. We weren't able to stop Sybil from taking back the Time Stream but by doing so I think it allowed the Zephyr to catch a Time Wave and returns to Deke and Mack though like I said 20 months later. 

The promo for next week looks seriously epic and that is exactly what I want from a time hopping SHIELD crew! We're going to see Jiaying again and I'm left to wonder if the show is somehow going to change Jiaying's future death or Daisy's dad's.

What Shows Am I Watching This Week?

Hello everyone and welcome back! Let's dive right in shall we?

Fruits Basket Season 2 Episode 13

It's been a while since our kids have been in school so it felt a bit like an abrupt tonal shift to go from this deeply emotional material for the past chunk of episodes only to return to humor this week with Yuki and the student council. You all know by now that I'm usually not a fan of Yuki-centric episodes cause I find him boring tbh and I can't decide if part of it is cause subconsciously I don't want to like Yuki cause the show pits him against Kyo and Kyo's my baby. Having said that though I did like that we're seeing Yuki make new friends outside of Tohru and her friends and that it's clear that Yuki's growing as a person. Manabe is a lot honestly and I don't know if I would like to be his friend in real life but he might be the kind of person Yuki needs. I'm also still curious to know what's up Machi and why she seems to despise Yuki but I also really liked that we got to see Kyo and Tohru from other people's perspectives. Manabe watched the two walk together and decided that they must be dating which makes my shipper heart sing but also it's always just fun to see things from other perspectives. One of my favorite scenes in the episode was when Manabe apologized to Kyo for judging him and Kyo's just like dude who the hell are you. 

Stargirl Season 1 Episode 7

Okay I'm really going to need all the characters in this show to stop shouting each other's real names when they're in costume cause it seriously defeats the whole point of the costumes! Pat should have definitely known better though I suppose his worry for her outweighed his superhero smarts. It was totally strange to see that after everything last week that made it seem like Courtney was growing a little in terms of being a hero and not jumping right into things that she ended up reverting back and refusing to listen or wait or think before she acted this week. I low key loved how the rest of the JSA were so annoyed with Courtney for making it all about herself during the training cause they all clearly were interested in the history unlike Courtney who wanted to go go go. I was also fascinated with how much of the episode was dedicated to Cindy and how it ended up allowing us to pity her a little though it didn't make up for all the bad she did. Cindy unlike the other ISA kids knows everything about her dad and the ISA so it makes her feel isolated in the real world and it's clear that all she wants are friends as seen by how she sort of latched onto Courtney but now it seems like she might find that acceptance in the ISA since she did suit up and steal one of her dad's costumes. I do have to point out the one problem I think this show has and that's with balancing the superhero with the mundane stuff. We had a whole C storyline with Cameron being nervous to ask Courtney to the Homecoming Dance and though I loved that scene with his dad, the fact that we've only actually seen Courtney and Cameron interact once in 7 episodes but we're supposed to believe that was enough for both to have a crush on each other is a little much. Having said that I am super shipper trash so I'm all for it especially if Cameron becomes a bad guy and then we might have even more drama!

Agents Of SHIELD Season 7 Episode 6

This week was dark cause though at first it seemed like we had about the same amount of wins and losses, in the end it feels a little like we lost more. It once again highlighted why I don't like Mack as Director cause while I understand the point of making all our of agents super kind and moral and all that in order to get the audience to love them, I can't help but constantly compare the agents we have now to those we were first introduced to. I mean can you imagine Fury or Natasha or Clint or even Maria balking at the idea of the choosing the needs of the many over the few?? The ironic thing about all of it was that despite everything, we ended up in the same place even if Mack had chosen not to help his parents. With the Chronicoms now able to steal personalities alongside faces, they can definitely pass as human. They killed Mack's parents and though Coulson was able to destroy their ship of Hunters, I'm not entirely sure that the Chronicoms can't just create more Hunters. I do suppose that it makes May our secret weapon cause it feels like she's the only one who can detect their lack of emotions and I'm wondering if there would be a way for her to boost her empath powers so that she doesn't have to touch people to get their emotions. I'm also not entirely worried about LMD Coulson blowing up with the rest of the Chronicom Hunters cause Jemma could always make a new one. Speaking of Jemma, we found out that she was not a LMD like I thought last week but actually just has some sort of a chip in her that is wiping her memory of Fitz and everything related to him. I'm not sure why she needs to hide it from the others but I'm still high key waiting for Fitz to come back! The homage to season 2 with Daisy, Daniel, and Nathanial was fun and it just really made me wonder more if this season is planning on pairing up Daisy and Daniel. I also wish that Daniel had taken the time to kill Nathanial cause he did get Daisy's powers but I'm not sure if he's dead yet and if he's not, it feels like a horrible change in the timeline to have a Malick with Inhuman powers.

The promo for next week shows us that the episode will follow Deke and Mack through their adventures after being left behind when the Zephyr jumped and it looks like we're in the 80s now and I'm sure that by the end of the episode the Zephyr will be back cause I can't imagine the show leaving these two stranded for more than about 5 years or so otherwise they'd have to be aged up.

What Shows Am I Watching This Week?

Hello everyone and welcome back! Let's dive right in shall we?

Fruits Basket Season 2 Episode 12

Talk about unexpected! When I heard that this week's episode would actually be focusing outside of our main cast I was worried that I would be uninterested in the story but I really should know better cause this is Fruits Basket after all! I was never all that interested in Hatori's backstory either of the times I heard it whether it was in the 2001 version or season 1 of this version but somehow hearing it again but from Mayu's point of view was low key fascinating. Mayu is Tohru, Kyo, and Yuki's current homeroom teacher and Kana's best friend and Shigure's ex though from what we see this week, she and Shigure weren't entirely dating for real. The more important thing to note is that she also was in love with Hatori for a while which she never acted on cause he was with Kana and honestly the way she went about the whole thing was just so sweet. She never once (even now) expected Hatori to love her back. All she wanted was for him to be happy whether that was with Kana or someone else entirely. What's funny for me is that she really just highlighted the fact that the Sohmas all fall for the same type of person, the kind of person who pities them and wants happiness for them. Between Tohru, Uo, and now Mayu, it's clear that the Sohmas who have had nothing but Akito's fake love yearn for kindness and true love. It's also interesting to note that the woman that Hatori was walking with a few weeks back wasn't actually his girlfriend but Hiro's mom who was getting a check up and must have found out she was pregnant at that time.

Stargirl Season 1 Episode 6

This was a super fun episode and every week I'm just honestly so impressed with this show cause I originally was expecting to watch a show that was a mix between Titans and Supergirl with cheesy writing and over-the-top messages but this show has heart and I can't help but wonder why of all the shows on the DC Universe app it's literally only Titans that has a hot mess of a writing staff since every other show is good! I kind of adore how much Courtney respects and looks up to Pat now compared to how she disliked him at the start of the show cause it clearly hurt her to have Pat disappointed in her and she did try to listen to him when he told her to get the JSA costumes back from the others though of course the other kids didn't want to listen. I'm still iffy about Beth but I adore our team so far and I low key loved how Courtney got a taste of her own medicine when the others refused to listen to her and dove into fights not knowing what the stakes were. I did wonder if the show was going to brush off the fact that none of these kids should really have held their own in a fight against the ISA so I'm glad that Pat said that they'll need training. I suppose between Courtney's gymnastic skills, Yolanda's boxing training, and Rick's general bad boy fighting that they've got a good starting point. As a sidebar if you're counting, week 6 and I still don't know what the ISA's big plan is. We've now stolen satellite tech and some codes from a communications company but then what?

FINISHED Tower Of God Episode 13

Though this episode was the finale for the season, it was also a flashback episode in which we finally saw why Rachel is the way that she is and what she had been through since she and Bam parted ways. I'm not sure if it was meant to make us sympathize with her or not but either way it really just made me despise Rachel more. Her problems is that she's an insecure whiny child who was jealous of how Bam was able to make friends and shine in this Tower rather than suffering quietly like she did in the background and this sort of character always drives me crazy cause it's like it's not that the other person is greater, it's that you're too dark inside. The Tower guardian himself told you that cruelty is leaking from your every pore. The worst thing about all this is that she managed to convince everyone but Khun (he's the best boy after all) that Bam was killed by the bull and that they should help her climb the Tower to honor Bam when it's like she could barely care less about him. As a sidebar, are we supposed to believe that the test allowed them to jump to the top of the Tower or that it was just a test to allow Rachel to continue climbing despite her fake injury? I'm also still unclear about what the Tower wants with Bam cause as we see now it meant to bring Bam and not Rachel making him a Regular not an Irregular. Yu wants something from Bam too with how he sent Hwaryun to test him separately and at the end we see her approach Bam and say that she'll train him so that he can climb the Tower. Maybe they're all hoping that Bam can defeat the previous King of Jahad and make himself the new one? Either way when the next season of this show comes out, I'll be right back here!

Agents Of SHIELD Season 7 Episode 5

This week's episode was low on humor, high on stakes and all in all totally insane!! For the first time this season, it finally started to feel like our SHIELD agents might be a little over their heads! The Chronicoms have always been kind of a hard sell for this show to make in order to convince us that they're really as bad as the characters on this show say they are but this week it was pretty clear where their strengths lie! Because they can't age, the Chronicoms could stay in the past and help Hydra speed up their evil plans by building Project Insight in the 70s rather than during Captain America: Winter Soldier but more importantly their seer can basically predict every move SHIELD will make before they make it. I can't see how our team can win unless we get to their ship and blow everything up thus killing most of the Chronicoms so that even if their minds are stored elsewhere, the ship computer will be destroyed too. In other news I'm almost fairly certain now that the Jemma we've been traveling around with is a LMD but unlike Coulson, she doesn't know she's an LMD which begs the question: where are the real Fitz and Simmons? Did they somehow fall into the past and spent a lifetime trying to figure out time travel only to be too old to use it for themselves? If that was the case, why not have a Fitz LMD too? 

Next week's promo shows us that our team is going to officially be attacking the Chronicoms rather than playing defense. It is too early in the season for a win though so I can't see things going well.

FINISHED Harley Quinn Season 2 Episode 13

So this was the finale for season 2 and a possible finale for this show in general though low key I doubt that since I've heard nothing but positive reviews for this show so DC would be crazy to cancel it. Ivy and Kiteman's wedding was on but of course it couldn't go down cause Ivy and Harley belong together so Jim decided it would be totally heroic and awesome if he crashed their wedding and arrested all the supervillains who were attending. Harley found out from Two-Face that this was happening so she tried to stop Jim but actually just made herself look desperate in front of everyone else so in the end the wedding was ruined and Kiteman let Ivy go cause he could see that Ivy didn't actually want to marry him but was scared to leave cause her future with Harley was even more nebulous. I wasn't the hugest fan of this finale tbh cause it wasn't funny or dramatic but then again it's hard to compete with season 1's finale!

What Shows Am I Watching This Week?

Fruits Basket Season 2 Episode 11

Wow. I never would have expected that Kagura who was my least favorite Sohma member (cause I found her so annoying and over-the-top) would have won over my heart this week but I shouldn't be surprised anymore cause the writing in this show is absolutely incredible and every time I think the show isn't going to make me cry, it does! A few weeks ago Rin made a comment to Kagura about her love was fake and I didn't think much of it until this week when Kagura admitted to it. When they were children Kagura was Kyo's first friend but in actuality Kagura only talked to Kyo cause he made her feel more superior than him since no matter her problems at least she wasn't the cat. After she was horrified when she saw his true form, it made her feel even more terrible about herself so to cope she convinced herself that she didn't care about his true form and that she loved him the same way his mom pretended to love him. It's curious that she finally decided to admit this to Kyo but I guess it was cause she saw how different he was now and I can't decide if the end of this episode meant that she still loves him like a brother like she did when they were kids (emphasized with how she called him Kyo-chan and not Kyo-kun) or if we're supposed to believe that after all that pretending, she really did fall for him. Either way, it was also important to note the way Kyo was acting cause even after everything Kagura said, he didn't get irritated or yell at her and calmly just told her that he won't ever fall in love with her and attempted to soothe her after she broke down. My heart breaks at how beaten into submission he is now after Akito but part of me is also just so into how soft he is now (with everyone but Yuki obviously.) Tohru also deserves a shout out cause the little angel is keeping up with her pledge to break the curse with how she rushed to find out more about the curse from Kazuma the second she got home though he didn't have any more answers for her.

Stargirl Season 1 Episode 5

This week we met two new members of our new Justice Society team in Rick and Beth though the focus of the episode was mostly meant for one and the other just threw herself into everything. Can you tell that I don't like Beth? She's been irritating since we first met her and now she's become Dr Midnite just because she has no concept of boundaries. I mean she invited herself to Courtney's house, snuck around, and all but stole Dr Midnite's googles and now we're forced to watch her join the team. The more interesting part of this episode was following Rick and his journey. We see that back in the day Rex must have realized that his identity as Hourman was compromised so he sent all his research to Pat and left Rick with his Uncle Matt and ran to hide with Wendi his wife only to be caught by Solomon Grundy and murdered. Rick grew up with what looks like an abusive uncle and this chip on his shoulder that makes him angry at the world and I'm fascinated by him cause he's probs the worst person to take on one of the JSA's legacy but also the hourglass is his by birthright so they can't exactly take that away. I do wonder if now that we've gotta our full season lineup and Pat found out what Courtney was doing, if they'll now go to the JSA headquarters cause Rick deserves to get to know who his father was. In other legacy news, it looks like Henry has gotten his mind reading powers and it sucks cause it looks like he is actually going to go down the villain route. I wondered if maybe he wasn't as bad as he seemed at first cause of how shocked and horrified he was when Yolanda's pics got out but the way he treats her now doesn't feel like he's low key guilty or anything. I'm still waiting to find out what the ISA wants cause now we see that the Fiddler is one of them and they stole a truck but like for what?

Tower Of God Episode 12

Holy hell I've never been more unhappy that I guessed an ending before! I knew there was no way that Bam could win this game cause then the show would be over too quickly but never once did I guess that it would be Rachel herself who would shove Bam out of the bubble at the last minute. I'm sure Yu convinced her somehow that the only way she would win this game is if she kicked Bam out cause there could only be one winner or some shit but either way I'm officially done with Rachel. She's the absolute worst and I need Bam to move the hell on from her immediately. Who cares about seeing the stars so much that you'll sacrifice anyone and anything for it???? It also helps that we finally saw Yuri again and the little badass as it turns out is not only a Princess of Jahad but she's also a Ranker so she's climbed the Tower and won and I'm over here like Bam pick her instead please. I don't entirely understand what Yuri is doing cause it's like if she's already a Ranker, does she just live in this Tower for fun? Why ask for Bam to meet her on the 77th floor? The best thing she did was murder the hell out of the Yuga and I low key love that she wasn't all that bothered by Anaak or Endorsi and was just like I do me girls so come find me when you're ready. The appearance of one of the Khun family members was also interesting and I wonder why he thought to grab Khun and bring him to Maria unless Maria asked for him herself cause I'm sure she's learned that being a Princess is boring and love might be the better option. Unfortunately for her, Khun has moved on.

Agents Of SHIELD Season 7 Episode 4

Ahh as I called it last week, it looks like we faked Sousa's death in order to keep history intact but to save the life of someone important and I couldn't be more thrilled cause the more Sousa the better! I am really glad though that nothing really terrible happened to LMD Coulson last week and that the flickering in his eye was just a system meltdown in that he lost color in his sight so everything was black and white which was hilariously awesome cause it allowed the show to be in black and white and homage to 50s movies! It was really fun to have such a noir theme to the episode and I'll never not be amazed at what an excellent spy Sousa makes cause you can never see him flinch whenever something isn't right. He plays along just until he can reveal himself and it's amazing cause none of our other SHIELD agents can act like that! SHIELD when it began in the Marvel universe was meant to be a spy organization but none of our agents can act for shit and they're more enforcers than anything else. I am a little worried that the Chronicoms are now turning to HYDRA and basically revealing everything cause I can't imagine that Malick will roll over and pretend like nothing happened but it would be fun if the show actually changed the future and when our SHIELD agents got back, suddenly a lot of our previously dead agents were back and on the good side like Lincoln and Hunter and Bobbi and Ward! 

It looks like we're in the 70s next week and I'm not entirely sure what we're going to be doing but I'm all for it! Still no Fitz though which really does suck.

Harley Quinn Season 2 Episode 12

Every week I can't help but feel more and more bad for Kiteman who's clearly more in love with Ivy than he knows what to do with and it doesn't help that Ivy has been cheating on him with Harley cause I truly hate cheating. Despite that I also want Harley to be happy so I'm low key also really into Ivy and Harley getting back together! The finale is airing next week and I'm certain that the wedding won't actually happen but whether or not Ivy and Harley get together is another thing. I really thought that maybe in order to up the drama that Kiteman would have ended up sacrificing himself to protect or save Ivy and that because of that she would feel too guilty to date Harley for a little while so that would be the will they/won't they drama of next season but now it looks like Ivy will just dump Kiteman for Harley and I suppose that works too. As a sidebar I do love that when the Justice League was dosed with Ivy's love hormones that it was Batman and Wonder Woman that had the hots for each other in a nice homage to their romance in Justice League Unlimited where I adored them.

Fruits Basket Season 2 Episode 10

Well this episode made me cry again and honestly I can't decide if it's cause I'm just a giant baby or if this show is stabbing me in places I didn't expect! Either way, we finally had the confrontation we were waiting for with Akito coming to see Tohru! He was all riled up earlier cause someone from the main family called Ren did something and now Akito needs to come home right away so he decided to take out this anger on Tohru and Momiji when he wouldn't get Tohru. It was horrible seeing Akito punch little Momiji but I was FURIOUS when he scratched Tohru cause no matter how wrong it is morally at least in the eyes of the law Akito is the head of the Sohma family so he can dole out punishment but Tohru is just some stranger that he has no right to touch. I was a little disappointed that Tohru didn't stand up for herself or any of the Sohmas really but I think that she was just caught off guard by the whole thing cause she's never met a person like Akito before so maybe next time, she'll be able to stand up. I did like her realization that Akito is the God from the zodiac so that's why no one can disobey him but I'm not sure if I love the reveal that this control is the curse that the zodiacs are under cause honestly it just seems so horrible since Akito is not a good person. What if someone like Tohru was the zodiac God? Would it be a curse then? I'm hoping that someone will explain to Tohru and in return us the audience more of the details cause not only do we still not know why the Sohmas are under this curse but also how it could be broken? Is it as simple as true love can break any curse or will there be more to it?

Stargirl Season 1 Episode 4

This week we got to know Yolanda a lot more as more than one of the losers who sits at Courtney's table and man oh man did I feel horrible for her! I cannot imagine the pain that someone goes through after a scandal like she did and it's so awful cause you don't even know who to blame in that situation! I do have a feeling though that Cindy might have some of the same powers as her father the Dragon King does (though I don't entirely know what those are) and that she used them out of jealously. It was clear that Yolanda was extremely popular in the school being that she was kind and smart and a boxer and Cindy was jealous of that and the fact that she was dating Henry. I mean Henry's no saint either cause he was obviously showing his bros the photo of Yolanda but Cindy somehow got it and spread it around and Yolanda blamed Henry when it was clearly Cindy who did it. The worst part of it all is not just the fact that the kids at school were teasing her but the fact that her family shamed her so hard about it! I mean like taking away her phone and grounding her forever? Ugh. Why not just move to another city if they're so shamed by this whole thing? I hated that she finally built up all her courage to stand up for herself and they were all like nope we blame you entirely. All that being my way of saying that I adore Yolanda and I'm pumped that she's going to be our Wildcat! I think it's fascinating that in this world it seems like most of the heroes in this show will be getting their powers from their suits rather than some sort of metahuman ability but I guess it gives us a reason to believe that these high school kids with very little training can not only hold their group against these fully grown fully trained adults but also beat them.

Tower Of God Episode 11

So to my surprise, this final test is actually the final test which goes against everything I thought about how it's too early for Bam and Rachel to reach the top of the Tower! I mean it's still possible that we lose this test and that's how we keep Bam and the others together to climb the Tower slowly over multiple seasons but it's also possible after everything that we're learning about this world that there's more to be done outside of the Tower. What's crazy though is that this final test has really nothing to do with testing Bam or Rachel cause all they have to do is chill in that bubble until they get eaten and that it's everyone else that has to fight which is super confusing cause then how is this a test for Bam and Rachel? It would make more sense if everyone passed if Bam and Rachel are eaten! Poor Khun is trying his hardest but he doesn't know that this whole test has been rigged by Yu and Yuga and seriously I need someone to kill Yuga like yesterday cause the way he was playing around with Anaak had me all up in arms! I have no doubt that Endorsi isn't going to attack Anaak cause they've grown past that but whether she can help Anaak get away from Yuga is another thing. I'm also kinda confused about Yuri cause she was so prominent on the poster for this show but she's barely in this show so I'm wondering why that spot couldn't have been given to Anaak or something! I also have a weird feeling that somehow Rachel is going to die this season cause everything feels too happy and Yu seriously seems to have something against Bam and therefore Rachel so I can't see a happy ending!

Agents Of SHIELD Season 7 Episode 3

This week's episode was even better than the previous ones we had and you know how much I enjoyed the last two! The only thing that sucks is that I'm still really missing Fitz from this season cause he's been a main cast member for 7 seasons and yet due to scheduling issues, we can't even see him on a screen or something? I kind of expected the team to be traded between Fitz and Simmons like divorced kids but instead we're probs just going to hold Fitz until a big moment where he swoops in to save the day. Having said that like I said up top, I really did love this episode and mostly just cause it was so nice to see Sousa! He was one of the best parts of Agent Carter and no matter how much I preferred Peggy ending up with Steve over him, it was still sweet to see him show up and try to look nice for her only to be completely confused over Simmons appearing before him. The Chronicoms plan this time around was to power up a ion reactor that SHIELD built but could never power until way later in the future cause they were hoping to kill off every science member of SHIELD cause all the sci-tech agents of SHIELD were in this base but luckily our team stopped them. What is nerve-wracking is the fact that LMD Coulson was hit by a EMP and I'm low key worried about how the camera zoomed in on his eyes as he powered back up cause that's not a friendly shot. What if the Chronicom jumped into his body?? In other news, one of the funniest scenes in this episode was when Simmons and Coulson were trying to root out the Chronicom agents cause I was dying. It's also interesting to note that maybe May has returned to who she was after she had a flashback and I'm hoping that's the case cause as much fun as it has been to see emotionless May, I want the original one back!

The promo for next week shows us that we're still in the 50s and apparently in the original timeline Sousa is killed by HYDRA for realizing that they have infiltrated high government positions but I have a feeling rather than him actually dying, our agents are going to grab him and take him along with them cause history says he was gone but what's to say that he can't jump to the future?

Harley Quinn Season 2 Episode 11

This episode was absolutely hysterical and nothing went down the way I thought things would! After Harley reawakened Joker, Joker had to go through a whole series of events where he realized what kind of life he had been living while under amnesia and though at first he was horrified, in the end he realized that he actually liked that life and missed it so he decided to go back to Sophia and be the dad but also be the Joker. This whole thing was hilarious but totally fits in this world where the villains each have their own things outside of just doing evil. The whole time he also tried to convince Harley that she shouldn't give up on Ivy which is somewhere I never expected the Joker and Harley relationship to go cause despite how abusive he was, it's like they're friends now. Bruce the poor idiot returned to being Batman and one of the best scenes of the episode was when he tried to guess at what was happening only to be corrected and Joker to make fun of him for losing his detective edge while he was out. The Justice League finally escaped the Book and they went off to save the day while Ivy showed up all brainwashed by Psycho to kill Harley and I have a feeling that she's somehow going to cause the death of this family making Joker go even more insane!
