Hey everyone!! It's finally April which means that the Spring 2021 TV Schedule is about to start!! As per usual I'm going to be posting what shows I will be watching!! I'll be posting the air dates for all the shows I will be watching. These all air from April to the end of May! What Shows Am I Watching This Week?

Hello everyone and welcome back! Let's dive right in shall we?

FINISHED Welcome To Demon School Iruma-Kun Episode 23

Ah well as I expected last week this series finale (or maybe season finale based on the cliffhanger we left on) didn't actually wrap up the whole story but just this arc of Iruma finally accepting that he likes living in the Netherworld and doesn't want to return to being a human on Earth. Having said that it was pretty nice seeing Iruma doing well at Babyls and how much he's loved by the others cause it totally reminds me of when he first showed up and was so terrified and shocked by everything he was experiencing. I died when he realized how much he was fitting in here in the Netherworld and tbh I really did expect him to at least talk to the Demon Border Patrol about wanting to stay here but maybe cause he doesn't go to search for him that it'll be obvious that Iruma doesn't want to leave? It was sweet of Azz and Clara to want to make food for Iruma thinking that he needed cheering up and Clara's family will never not be completely hilarious. I am a little disappointed that we never saw her father or why he was so important as to not get featured in the earlier episodes but the same goes for how we didn't get to see Iruma become the Demon King. The button at the end of the episode seemed to be more of a teaser for another season to come and it just makes me want to see it now!

ID: Invaded Episode 11

I am honestly so proud of myself for guessing everything correctly despite spending so much time being confused about what was happening in this show! We finally figured out who John Walker was through Hondoumachi's and Sakaido's detective work and it turned out to be the Chief like I guessed weeks ago. I do have to applaud the show though cause for a second I did wonder if it was Hondoumachi's ex-partner for grabbing the wrong cognition particles at Momoki's house but in the end he was a pawn like the others. I also guessed correctly that poor Kiki was being used as a battery of some sort for the Mizuhanome but I was wrong about her being the reason for cognition particles existing. They must have always been around but before Kiki there was no way to access or use them. I don't know if I entirely understood what was going on in terms of Hondoumachi figuring out the Chief's murder technique but it had to do with an obsession with the number 7 and playing God. To no one's surprise Sakaido as it turned out was also a victim of John Walker playing around in his mind and I guess that Kiki well inside Sakaido's ID well must be physical proof of John Walker having been rummaging around. I wonder if they went back into Fukada's ID well if they'd find a Kiki well now too. I'm also really curious to know how this show is going to end cause the finale is in two weeks and it honestly it might just feel too easy if we're able to arrest the Chief next week. I could see him grabbing Kiki and disappearing with everyone left to flounder now that they don't have the Mizuhanome anymore but that feels like too sad of an ending and poor Kiki!

Batwoman Season 1 Episode 14

I'm really not a Sophie and Kate shipper so I expected to be bored throughout a large chunk of this episode but honestly other than their parts, I ended up enjoying this episode a bunch! After finding out that Kate was Batwoman last week, Mary spent the episode basically hinting to Kate that she'd love to help her and I just wanted to give her the biggest hug cause she's adorable. I honestly would have just blurted it out at some point like I know who you are especially since both Batwoman and Kate came to her on two separate occasions to ask for help. Honestly though it even hurts me every time Mary is told that she and Kate aren't as close she believes they are and I wish that Kate would be better! Alice also struggled with what to do about Mouse's dad cause though she knows where he is and who he is, a part of her was reverting back to the child she was when she went through all that abuse but I was truly horrified to find out that he was pumping Mouse with fear toxin to really destroy his relationship with Alice! I know I'm supposed to dislike Mouse and Alice but half the time when I look at them I just see the kids they were. Sophie and Batwoman decided that dating would not be the best move but it did give Sophie the courage to come out to her mom and my heart broke for her when her mom told her that she was disappointed. It made me wish that Kate would interact more with her own father cause despite everything he loves her just the way she is and I feel like the show doesn't give him nearly enough to do! Why does Supergirl get all the sisterly moments and Flash the father/child ones?? 

Oooh it looks like the next episode is going to be full of Jacob and Kate moments like I was begging this show to give me! With Mouse being under the fear toxin it looks like he'll be attacking Alice and putting her under the fear toxin too so when Jacob and Kate rescue her, maybe she'll be a different person?

The Flash Season 6 Episode 14

My baby Wally was back but I'm heartbroken that it was only for one episode! I do always find it creative how the writers of this show write their own stories but add dashes of flavor from the comics especially in the case of Wally. I still think that he was waaay underused and though part of that I can't blame on the show cause it was Keiynan himself who wanted to leave to focus on his music, the other part of me thinks that the seasons that he was on, he wasn't used the way he should which is why it's funny to me that he's become this complete badass with an even better understanding of the Speed Force than Barry himself offscreen in a way to homage his comic book persona. I really like that he's able to meditate his consciousness and see futures and stuff and I even think the way he uses his powers is more unique than Barry's. It was interesting that he came back to talk to Barry about the Speed Force dying and that it did actually die in this episode but with Barry planning on remaking his own Speed Force, I wonder if he'll share it with Wally. More importantly I'm curious to know if that artificial Speed Force would replace the Speed Force in this show or whether we'll do with Caitlin and Cisco offered and figure out a way to remove the Spectre's energy from the Speed Force. Meanwhile Nash was taken over by Eobard and it was super strange cause now Eobard is like more murder happy than I've ever seen him cause despite how much he's wanted to kill Barry, I don't think I've ever heard him talk about slitting his throat like that. I still don't understand what's going on with the Wellses of the multiverse or why they're all here and hovering around Nash but hopefully we'll figure that out soon. In other news Kamila figured out that Mirror Iris is not real Iris but was shot with the Mirror Gun before she could say anything and seriously I've totally forgotten how it works! She's not like dead is she?? As a sidebar I loved that it was Wally to warn Joe about Iris being different cause with how emphatic and zen he is now, of course he would be able to sense something off.

For a second when Eobard mentioned his anti-Speed Force I had the thought that maybe at some point Barry would get so desperate that he might reach out and use it like Nora did but now it looks like he might go another villain route and use speed steroids like the Velocity mixtures in order to boost his speed which is going to be totally fun!

Legends Of Tomorrow Season 5 Episode 7

This was a much heavier episode than I expected to watch based on the promo but honestly that's such a good thing cause though a lot of the episode was funny, the whole father/daughter thing was super emotional! Damien Darkh was our Encore of the week and he arrived just as Ray was planning on proposing to Nora which caused her to freak out and try to show Damien the life she thought he would want for her with Constantine as her boyfriend and Sara and Ava as her henchwomen. It was absolutely hilarious and ended with Nora's charge Pippa wishing them all into a parody of Mr Roger's Neighborhood so that they could all talk out their feelings. Damien accepted Nora as who she was now and gave his blessings for Ray and Nora to get married which they did and ended up using the Hell Sword to kill himself and I seriously could not remember if the Sword sent you back to hell or destroyed your essence completely! Ava and Sara fought about how Sara had been offered a job offer in Star City from Wild Dog who I'm assuming is Rene as maybe his bodyguard or something cause last I checked there's only one Wild Dog I know and he was running for mayor in Star City now. Meanwhile Constantine was trying to get Charlie to help him with the Loom of Fate but she was really against it until Constantine brought up the idea that if her sisters got to it first they would use it again while if they did it, they'd save Astra and then he'd help her destroy it for good which she agreed to. In a completely separate storyline we found out that Mick actually had a daughter with that woman he slept with a few episodes back when he went to look for the person who was trolling Rebecca Silver with Zari only to freak out and wipe their memories of his arrival cause he thought that they were better off without him. 

Next week looks hilarious again and based on what I can gather it looks like maybe the girls decide to take a break or have a girls night with Mona joining in so the boys have to deal with something around Shakespeare's era and ruin his works so the girls have to go back and fix it! I'm super pumped cause I always love the episodes when the girls have to clean up after the boys!

Riverdale Season 4 Episode 16

I actually really really enjoyed this episode of Riverdale but you know I'm always a sucker for whodunnit stories and this episode was the closest we've ever gotten to a real murder mystery other than the first season with Jason. There's just something so fun about the reveal where the detectives get to sit the suspects down and go through what happened piece by piece! As it turned out the Baxter Brothers franchise was all about murder. In order to become the ghostwriter you needed to prove that you commit the perfect murder and while at first it was Moose who was brought to Stonewall to be the victim, eventually the target was shifted to Jughead which honestly was Stonewall's fatal flaw cause unlike Moose, Jughead is one of the most connected Riverdale kids. Donna as it turned out was the mastermind to no one's surprise but she did it cause it was her grandmother who was killed by Dupont in order to keep his secret about the Baxter Brothers a secret. Jughead was meant to be bait in order for Dupont to get his grandfather who was the last of the four who knew his secret but he didn't know that Jughead's grandfather would run after seeing Jughead rather than come out of hiding to help. In the end it was all very bittersweet cause not much changed. I mean Bret ended up handing back the sex tapes he filmed and possibly going to jail, Dupont is dead, Joan is fleeing the country, and Donna is free though she was blackmailed into not becoming the next Ghostwriter. It sucks though cause are we supposed to believe that Jughead lost his spot at Yale cause at the end it seems like he couldn't even graduate can he has to transfer back to Riverdale High? I mean I'd assume with Bret going to jail that Jughead would get his spot if Betty got his. 

Though we've got 6 episodes left to go for this season, it seems like Riverdale is taking a break for a month. The next episode we'll get is on April 15th and it will be the musical episode which kinda sucks but it's also super weird cause it feels like we've wrapped up our story so what's left but maybe Chic and Charles?

The Magicians Season 5 Episode 9

This show is getting crazier and crazier and I'm so so down! While Julia and Eliot are locked up, Julia finds out that because the baby's father is Penny 23 that he's a traveler and a psychic just like Penny was so when she was freaking out the baby was able to help her read minds so she and Eliot are able to get out of jail through the help of Julia traveling with the baby's help. Meanwhile we found out that the signal that was hurting Penny 23 and Plum was actually from another time traveler who basically was pissed that Plum became a time traveler and wanted to protect the timeline so he basically forced Plum to come here so that he could strip her of her powers. Penny 23 and Plum held strong at first but in the end she cracked and decided to get her time traveler powers stripped so that they could leave which sucks but at least she gets to keep her traveling power unlike poor Penny 23. Over in Fillory Rupert found Josh and sent him to the Taker world after which he ended up in the Underworld with Penny 40. As we learned the Takers are actually guard dogs for the Underworld to keep the dead from returning to the real world and from what Hades said if someone is able to get past all the Takers and tries to get someone back from the Underworld then the dead will overrun everywhere. I'm assuming that based on what we've seen that Rupert figured out a way to bring the Takers to Fillory and there he's been killing them one by one so that eventually all the Takers will be dead so he can waltz to the doorway and save Lance. 

Next week is all about the Gods again or so it seems. It looks like we run into either Ember or Umber (I can never tell them apart tbh) but they were both killed so either we find the Underworld for the Gods or it's some sort of time travel or vision thing. I'm also high key excited to see how Penny reacts to Julia cause I love them and while he thought that he was stuck for months, he was only gone for what probs amounts to a few days and this is a pretty big change!

What Shows Am I Watching This Week?

Hello everyone and welcome back! It's a bit of a slow week this time around but here we are anyway!

Welcome To Demon School Iruma-Kun Episode 22

I'm still oddly disappointed in this arc cause like I said last week, the finale for this show is going to air next week and I'm low key afraid that everything will be rushed so that this show can end. Having said that there were a lot of hilarious and sweet moments this week. I loved that Iruma, Azz and Clara had to pretend to be the opening act on stage in order to cover for Keroli who had used too much of her ice powers when she was angry with Iruma last week and that inadvertently Iruma still ended up taking more of the attention than Keroli with both newspaper space and her fans. Despite that though it was sweet that Keroli and Iruma are not friends and that she realized that though Iruma doesn't want to stand out, he does when it helps his friends. The best moment of the episode though was when Keroli's family came to help her and it became clear that her family loves her and that they've only been so cold cause they need to be otherwise they will overheat but that doesn't mean they ever stopped supporting her or loving her. I do wish Keroli had a moment with them but I liked the message overall anyway. As I mentioned up top, next week is the finale for this show and I'll be curious to see whether it wraps up the whole story or if more likely will just be a low-stakes episode hinting to us what the future could be in a way to be like hey you've only seen a small snapshot of Iruma's life not his whole story.

ID: Invaded Episode 10

I honestly feel like I'm too dumb for this show most of the time cause until I pretty much start to write this review I'm just sitting around like what huh what. Somehow the well that the cops thought was Momoki's was actually Sakaido's but if that's the case I'm so utterly confused cause how can Sakaido even enter his own well? It's also really different somehow cause instead of the lightning world, it's a desert but the stranger part is that Fukada knew all along and he is either working with John Walker or just really wants to screw with Sakaido cause the minute a brilliant detective figures out who he is outside of the well, the id well destroys him. I do wonder if the fact that Sakaido's in his own well will mean that he can find Hondoumachi and not only help her get out of Kiki's well but get her to help him. I was honestly so excited when the two finally met in Kiki's well in a well but time really does work differently cause while Sakaido had gone in later than Hondoumachi, he was there for a year while she was there for 20 minutes. It sucks that we didn't get much from them but I think we somehow experienced the past through Sakaido with some twists that he wished would have happened. Maybe the whole idea of cognitive particles only happened cause Kiki became one with the world as she was afraid would happen? We definitely know that she was the basis for the Mizuhanome cause Shirakoma who was the creator (and died later being left in Momoki's yard) was researching Kiki before she disappeared. Now what this all means I'm not entirely sure yet but I'm really curious to see where this show ends.

Riverdale Season 4 Episode 15

Well did I call it or what? There was no way that this show killed off Jughead and as we found out this week, Jughead faked his death in order to finally take down the Stonewall Prep kids and half of the main cast know the truth. I expected it to really just go as far as the main trio and maybe FP but we learned that Charles, Jellybean, Mary, and now Alice all know. It totally explains why no one really seemed to be mourning Jughead other than a few choice tears here and there and why everything with Archie and Betty kissing felt so weird and out-of-place. Speaking of, I could totally see this fake kiss as a way to bring Archie and Betty back into each other so that the couples could be shaken up next season but idk if the show would go there cause I feel like Riverdale has moved so far past the typical high school show with revolving couples like Gossip Girl. Jughead being alive also explained why one minute FP was arresting Betty for Jughead's murder on the tip from a girl that Jughead hated by the way and the next was allowing her to throw Jughead's wake. The most important part of all this was that FP was going to be fired from being Sheriff by Hiram so he quit and if I had to guess this is how FP will be written off of the show cause we know that Skeet Ulrich is leaving the show next season. I really don't know what this whole faking his death thing accomplished cause from where I'm sitting it doesn't look like the core four gathered any new info other than whoever Donna really is but that was done by Hermosa on behalf of Veronica who didn't need Jughead dead to do so.

I was wondering if maybe revealing the truth on Alice's documentary was maybe a way that the Stonewall kids would figure out the truth but the promo for next week shows us that Jughead reveals himself as being alive next week and I really don't know if whatever he figured out will really take down the Stonewall kids cause we still have a bunch more episodes to fill.

The Magicians Season 5 Episode 8

I just found out that The Magicians is being cancelled after this season so when we say that there's only four episodes left of the season, there's actually only four episodes left in this series and I'll be curious to know if the season finale can act as a series finale as well. It's bittersweet cause while part of me thinks that The Magicians isn't the same without Quentin, the rest of me is going to miss this crazy show. We finally learned more about The Dark King this week with the reveal that he's actually Rupert Chatwin aka Jane and Michael's brother and that he's been asleep for years only to awaken once magic was reborn last season. As it turns out the trees in Fillory are all intertwined so when our crew chopped down Rupert's tree last week, they couldn't sever his link to Fillory and as they find out, he can only die if Fillory dies. I suppose it's a very good thing that we've got a magic seed that can rebuild worlds now isn't it? Rupert's main goal is to bring back his lover Lance and he used Eliot's body as a conduit and I wonder if he's planning on moving Lance into Eliot's body. Poor Eliot has been possessed so much! Julia is also like super pregnant now so I guess her question on whether to keep the baby or not has been answered. It also sucks that she's stuck in Fillory and Penny 23 is on his own adventure so when they meet up Julia straight up might just have their baby to introduce to him! Speaking of, Penny 23 and Plum Chatwin learned that Plum could time travel and because of that they were stuck hopping from time to time only to end up stuck in the room that the Signal was coming from. I still don't know what this Signal is but maybe it's linked to Rupert somehow? Alice meanwhile found the Couple that she was looking for or actually he found her but again we don't know who or what it is yet.

The promo for next week actually kind of looked like a promo for the rest of the season with Julia talking about how she tried to help save the world but might have actually led to it's destruction and I'm over here like girl what else is new.

What Shows Am I Watching This Week?

Welcome To Demon School Iruma-Kun Episode 21

This was such a weird episode tbh cause it felt like such filler but at the same time it had important information in it that is needed to flesh out another supporting character in this show. I think the problem was the placement of this episode cause we just got out of a huge arc where the school was almost destroyed and now we've moved over to looking at a random background character's backstory! Having said that it was interesting to learn more about Keroli and why she always seemed to hate Iruma so much and yet was so timid about everything. As it turns out she's from a family of really magical demons but like Kiriwo her magic isn't as strong but she found that she was much cuter than the average demon so she found her place in the world after all and became a demon idol. She's apparently trying not to stand out at Babyls though she didn't exactly say why but is pissed at Iruma for continuously stealing the spotlight from her idol persona which is why the ending was hilarious cause Iruma was talking about how jealous he is that she was able not to stand out and he can't help but do even when he tries to hard not to. I do wonder if there's more to this arc or whether it really was meant to shade in this world some more. We've only got 2 more episodes to go until the finale and I haven't heard about another season for this show so I'm wondering if Iruma being human will ever be outed or if he'll become the Demon King or if the show will only hint at this possible future.

ID: Invaded Episode 9

Talk about being utterly confused about everything! Last we saw Sakaido entered Kiki's ID well from Momoki's supposed ID well but we were dropped into this strange world where not only did Sakaido remember everything about who he was and where he was but it was so different from most ID wells and it just gave me more questions than answers! It seems as though Kiki is manifested as Kaeru in the Mizuhanome and the real girl had this strange ability to broadcast her thoughts to other people and have other people enter her mind though dreams. This is totally freaky cause despite all the cool technology in this world I didn't think we were entering science fiction but here we are. I suppose we're supposed to believe that Kiki is the reason for the Mizuhanome system to exist at all and I bet you that she's actually somehow plugged into it as a conduit for the technology to work which is why she disappeared after being saved by Momoki from the Challenger and then after that the Mizuhanome was invented. It adds to my theory that the Chief of Police is John Walker cause John Walker seemed to be the first one to notice Kiki's strange quirk and use it to form other serial killers and if he ended up being the inventor of the Mizuhanome then that would make so much sense as to why she was Kaeru. I do wonder where Hondoumachi is in this world or whether she has her own separate from Sakaido's.

Batwoman Season 1 Episode 13

I said last week that the promo for this week felt totally fun and crazy and out of sync with what should have been the tone of this show after the death of Beth last week but oddly enough after watching this episode I found myself totally on board with everything in this episode. The vampire villain was totally fun to watch and much more interesting than any other weekly villain but it was totally insane that she was stealing blood in order to fix her medical condition cause it's like girl just go to a hospital! The best part of this whole thing was that it allowed Mary to finally find out the truth about Kate and how she's Batwoman and I'm super looking forward to what happens next. I still high key want Jacob to find out the truth cause like I've said before one of my favorite things about Batwoman in DC comics is the fact that Jacob knows and he tries to help her when he can. Sophie it seems is also back onto Kate's radar and I'm just so over that cause I really don't like Sophie and I don't like that she's so into Batwoman cause I'm never actually a fan of when superheroes hook up with their lovers without the lover knowing who they are under the mask. It was also interesting to note that after everything that happened last week, Jacob was set free but also Alice figured out pretty quickly that Mouse's dad is running around. I oddly expected more from Alice after Kate chose to let her die last week but it seemed like nothing really changed in Alice's mind though I do wonder if she's just playing Kate.

There's no Batwoman next week but the promo for two weeks from now doesn't show any Mary but it does show Batwoman and Sophie are basically dating and that makes me wonder what Sophie told Jacob cause he definitely gave her an ultimatum this week and I thought she had picked the Crows but maybe she picked Batwoman instead?

The Flash Season 6 Episode 13

This was a super fun episode of Flash cause it looked at more of the changes Crisis made on the world and I really enjoyed the small things like Barry not knowing that a certain road had become a train track or not knowing where his parents' graves were. I still think it's hilarious that Barry is supposed to be the one to build Gideon cause the dude has never done anything electronic during the course of this show but we saw him trying to make Gideon into a small earpiece tonight which I'm assuming is in response to the fact that most of Team Flash have their own things going on so they no longer are around to be on the coms. It led to the overall set up of this episode being that he was thrown back into the past in Grodd's mindscape and honestly maybe I'm a sucker but Grodd's whole plea for help really tugged on my heartstrings and I was like dude Barry help the poor thing! All he wants is to go home to Gorilla City and I loved how he helped Barry start seeing that he needs to look forward rather than backwards. Meanwhile Allegra finally figured out that Nash was her father in another universe and was super freaked out about it and when Nash tried to go explain himself he was stopped. I know the internet was joking about Nash might have all the multiverse of Harrison Wells inside of him but now it seems like that might actually be what's happening. I am really annoyed about the fact that Eobard seems to be in there too when it's like he's not a Wells! Idk why the show keeps forgetting that he actually killed the real Earth 1 Harrison Wells and stole his face. We also finally learned what was up with Mirror Iris and Eva and like I thought Eva is a bad guy after all though we don't know yet if she's working with Black Hole or an independent bad guy.  

It doesn't look like we'll be getting a new episode of the Flash next week which sucks super hardcore cause my baby Wally is coming back! It seems like something Barry did (probs during Crisis when Oliver opened up his powers) messed with the Speed Force and Wally is here to be like dude!

Legends Of Tomorrow Season 5 Episode 6

This was a mixed bag in terms of what emotions it brought out in me and in the show cause on the one hand we had all the humor of Genghis Khan and his scooter army but on the other we were dealing with Constantine's lung cancer. Let's start with the Constantine stuff cause that's what kept my attention more this week. With Astra speeding up his death last week, Constantine had 4 hours left to live and it was super weird cause like I said last week if she wanted him to die immediately why not speed his coin to zero? He tried to get Nora to fix his cancer but it didn't work and I'm not entirely sure why except that it would have ruined the plot of the episode cause like Constantine said if magic did it then magic should have fixed it. In the end though Astra changed her mind and decided to let Constantine try his plan with the Loom Of Fate and Charlie. Constantine's plan from what I can gather is to use the Loom in order to stop Natalie from dying so that none of what followed would happen and honestly I could totally see that being the finale for this season. It would give us enough time to worry about Charlie and her Fate sisters coming after her and find a way to stop the Encores permanently. Speaking of Charlie, I was totally right in guessing that she's probs one of the Fates that controlled the Loom which she told us herself! In other news apparently she and Behrad hooked up after the end of last season and it was hilarious to see Behrad struggle about what they were now. Even better was when Nate made a comment about how if Behrad was a woman he'd date her and Behrad was like um like my sister?

We're taking next week off so the promo that we saw is for two weeks from now which looks beyond hilarious and I'll be curious to see how everyone is stuck in a children's cartoon sitcom show. I have a feeling that it was somehow Nora granting a wish for her current child.

Riverdale Season 4 Episode 14

I really don't know what to think about what happening on this show cause I can't decide if Jughead is dead dead or not. I can't imagine that this show would kill off one of it's main characters like this but at the same time we saw Jughead's dead body. But if he is dead dead, I will be pissed about the reception to his death even more than his actual death. I mean seriously Jughead died and yet Betty, Archie and Veronica are showing as much emotion as a wall. Jughead was their best friend and the love of Betty's life and yet none of them even shed a tear? Archie's mom showed more sadness than any one of them! So from what it looks like Donna and Bret killed Jughead and they're trying to blame it on Betty cause they dosed her with some drug that made her lose consciousness and smeared Jughead's body with her DNA but I'm sitting here like um Betty is Jughead's girlfriend so even if they find Betty's button or hair on him, she can easily say that they were making out earlier or something. Ugh but seriously guys every time we look at Bret or Donna's smug faces I really want to punch them so hard. I mean they even went as far as calling Veronica's college and getting them to rescind her acceptance? Why don't they grow up and find something else to do? It's why I was living for Betty calling Donna out and being like I'm the daughter of the goddamn Black Hood so come at me bitch and see what happens. On another note I don't really love that Betty refuses to trust anyone but Charles with the truth cause we know that Charles isn't what he seems though I don't know if he's on Stonewall's side of if he's got some other scheme cooking. At least Archie talked to his mom about everything cause a lawyer is definitely going to be helpful.

Next week's promo shows that FP is going to be arresting Betty, Archie, and Veronica for Jughead's murder so we'll probs also get that flash forward scene where Donna and Bret finger them for his death. I wonder if the rest of the season is going to be about this or whether we'll figure out the truth earlier? I just really really really don't want Jughead to be dead dead.

The Magicians Season 5 Episode 8

Guys I loved this episode so much! I'm always super into when The Magicians goes crazy with it's plot points and just in this episode we had Margo and Eliot swapping bodies, a zombie fungal infection at Brakebills, and Julia finding out that she's pregnant. Let's start with the Brakebills stuff cause it was the least interesting of the three storylines. I'm still pissed that Alice's new love interest who's name I still don't know is sticking around like the mold no one wants (pun not intended) cause of course Quentin left a page with a plant on it cause how else would a botanist become important? I did like their talk about mourning and how long grief would last and the idea of spreading the fungus across multiple hosts was a good one though super creepy cause now half of Brakebills has a fungus in them. We also set up a new villain with The Couple and it's really making me curious why Quentin had this paper in the first place. Over in Fillory, Eliot may or may not have completely ruined Margo and Josh's relationship though I'd like to imagine that once Josh figured out that it was Eliot he was talking to and not Margo that he would give Margo another chance to talk. It's super strange that we're kind of sweeping Fen and Josh sleeping together under a rug and I really don't understand why Margo keeps claiming that she gave up on Josh when she was the one to keep trying over and over until she had no more chances to reach him in the past. Julia as we found out is pregnant but cause she's in Fillory, her pregnancy is speeding up so instead of the normal 9 months it'll be a lot less though we don't actually know how fast yet. She also was the one to kill Seb and at first that made me think that maybe he's not the real villain after all cause it's way too early in the season for the Big Bad to be killed but in the end he woke up and he's going to be even more furious so it must be him after all.

The promo for next week shows that Seb is going to be doing some sort of ritual on Eliot and I wonder if he's going to be making him into a Taker. It looks like we might be world hopping again but maybe Seb is going to send his soldiers after them to Earth too which would be interesting.

What Shows Am I Watching This Week?

Hello everyone and welcome back! Let's dive right in shall we?

Welcome To Demon School Iruma-Kun Episode 20

I actually really loved this week's episode cause it went back to the best form this show has when it embraces it's humor but at the same time adds such deep emotion. I love how much Iruma is happy here in the demon world cause he has friends and family who love him, and an amazing school where people know who he is unlike in the human world where his parents barely notice him and he has to work himself to the bone which is why he was so thrown off when Ameri's dad appeared ready to send him back to the human world the second Iruma mentions being uncomfortable. For some reason I really didn't expect it to be so simple tbh but I guess it makes sense cause we've never actually seen any of the demons hate humans or want to eat them. The best part of the episode though was definitely Ameri's dad having a full mental breakdown when he realized that Ameri might have a crush on Iruma and was growing up cause that's 100% any dad's worst nightmare and I was living. In other news Iruma did end up going up a rank after the Battler Party cause even though they didn't win the Grand Prize, the school decided since Iruma actually helped so much with Kiriwo that they deserved to be rewarded.

ID: Invaded Episode 8

This episode was pretty good though it didn't go the way I thought it would and it definitely left me with more questions than answers by the end. With Momoki arrested as being John Walker, Sakaido and Fukada were sent to enter his well and we spent the entire episode here rather than with Hondoumachi in Kiki's well but it makes sense cause Sakaido is also going into Kiki's well at the end of this episode. I'm honestly so excited by their hopeful meet up next week cause it's one of the things I was most looking forward to. What I'm confused about however is three things. The first of which is the fact that Momoki had a well to visit cause we were told that only killers have wells but I suppose that it's possible that Momoki has killed as a cop before. The second thing is why his well has Kiki's well in it too but that goes back to the fact that I don't understand why those wells are there and what they mean. The third thing is why Momoki freaked out at the end about Sakaido and Fukada being in his well and why he thought it was a trap. I still don't think that Momoki is John Walker and the odds are that he's been framed so I wonder if the cognitive particles they found actually belong to the real John Walker and not Momoki himself which is why Momoki panicked when he realized that his friend would be walking into a possible trap. It would explain a lot of the other things I was confused about if the well wasn't Momoki's! I also had the thought as I watched this episode how fascinating it is that Sakaido is so kind in the wells compared to Hondoumachi who's so cold when in real life they're the opposites. It makes me really wonder what these id well personas are.

Batwoman Season 1 Episode 12

I AM FURIOUS WITH THIS EPISODE! How could it play with my emotions like this??? I mean part of me knew that no matter what it had to be Alice not Beth that survived cause duh Alice would lead to more drama for this show but that didn't stop my heart from wishing it would be Beth anyway! Also did I or did I not call it that Beth would be killed for looking like Alice though I totally expected it to be Sophie who did it but instead it was Mouse's father who was pissed that Alice stole his son away? I still don't entirely know why Kate couldn't have called Sophie and been like yo Alice is chained to a bed in Mary's clinic so that the Crows would leave Wayne Tower and Beth could be safe. I also don't know why Beth and Luke couldn't stay in the Batcave cause dudes if it was that easy for the Crows to get in then Batman would be an idiot which is besides the point cause if they're so worried that the Crows will find Beth in the Batcave then wouldn't they also literally find the Batcave and ruin Batwoman's secret identity? I do suppose that all this will just make Alice even more pissed at Kate and Jacob cause when push came to shove Kate picked Beth over Alice and if that doesn't kill the last piece of good in her, I don't know what will. It also high key sucks that with the only doctor who would help ending up being Mouse's dad that Jacob has lost his best chance at leaving. Also also I hate this story of no one believing that Mouse impersonated Jacob cause now we live in a world with aliens and metas so why is it so out of the realm of thought that someone could look like someone else? Kate needs to call J'onn! 

The promo for next week feels really weird cause it has nothing to do with Alice or Beth and Kate seems as upbeat as normal which she really shouldn't be after losing Beth. I do like the idea of a vampire as the villain of the week and if she's actually a meta I will be furious cause it just adds to my anger with this Jacob storyline.

The Flash Season 6 Episode 12

We finally met Sue Dearbon this week after having teased us about it for almost a full year! Though it gave us a real logical reason to have Ralph come and go off this show (unlike other characters who straight up just disappear for weeks on end) it also makes Ralph look like a bit of an idiot for having so much trouble hunting down one woman. At first I was going to be full of complaints like the show was being too heavy-handed with look how quirky™ Sue is and look at Cecile totally shipping them! Like dude show chill a little. But with the reveal that Sue was actually a thief and hunting down Black Hole I was all the way back on! Sue's actually a complete badass and we all know Sue and Ralph are married in the comics so the fact that the show is letting their relationship build more naturally is everything cause I worried that they would fall in love in this episode. I also really loved the Iris and Eva stuff we got even though I totally spent the whole time wondering if Eva was secretly evil cause I can't help but see new bad guys everywhere and though she ended up actually being nothing more than a traumatized woman stuck in a horrible situation, I have a feeling that her villain origin story is still coming. She's totally a revamped Mirror Master and I see more drama coming from if she was bad than good. I mean we still don't know what that mirror version of Iris living in the world is or where it came from but then again if Eva could make mirror copies I'm sure she would have made one of herself to keep her husband from moving on. 

The promo for next week was a totally mind trippy cause with Grodd and Harry and Danielle appearing as Caitlin it reminded me a lot of a season 2 episode of Flash. I do wonder how long it'll take Barry to realize that Iris isn't Iris but I'm also looking forward to finding out what's going on with Nash.

Legends Of Tomorrow Season 5 Episode 5

I loved this week's episode of Legends cause it was everything I missed last week. I loved seeing Zari and Ava work together to take down Marie Antoinette and seeing Ava see something more in Zari than the annoyance Ava thought she was and it was good of not only Ava but all the Legends to not bring down the hammer on Zari when she made the decision to use magic to fix her problems cause the Legends have done much worse. The way the episode ended with Ava and Zari becoming friends was amazing cause neither have had any for a while and it was just so sweet. I also loved the small moment Marie and Zari had where they bonded over who they were as people and who people saw them as cause I've always thought it was way harsh the way Marie was seen in history cause yeah she cared more about parties and having fun than the people but seriously every king and queen were like that across history so the fact that it was Marie that was focused on is a little unfair. I'm also super into Nate hardcore fan-girling over Zari in the background as she did her thing and when he punched Zari's current boyfriend I almost died of laughter. The Constantine story was also pretty interesting cause it gave more context into who he was as a person but it ended in the most horrific way. He can't be dead right cause that's totally messed up!! But I can't imagine that if Astra went through all that trouble to speed up his death that she would be like give him 3 months to live or something. I'm also really curious about Charlie and the Loom of Fate cause for a while I had been saying that Charlie was pointless as a character and now she's finally got something to do! I wonder if she's supposed to be one of those witches that run the Loom or whether they can use that to save Astra and now Constantine. 

Next week's promo shows us that the Encore we're chasing is Genghis Khan which is totally awesome and it looks like he might be thrown into modern day cause he's on scooters rather than horses which I'm sure will be hilarious.

The Magicians Season 5 Episode 7

I wasn't the biggest fan of this week's episode though there was still plenty of fun moments overall. As it turned out moving the moon last week changed the way magic worked in the world and like I was sitting here like duh you dummies though in this world it was more magical than shifting tectonic plates and the such. The moon apparently has feelings and was pissed at the humans for everything it went through which is why magic is all messed up on Earth now. Penny 23 was made Acting Dean with Dean Fogg's disappearance and when the crew called for help, Dean Fogg from timeline 17 showed up and he mostly just the villain of the week which we were able to take down. While this was happening Penny and Julia were fighting over her need to constantly save the world and his want to just relax and like I was totally on Julia's side in all this cause it's like Penny you're one of the idiots who live in this world so why are you like let's just let things happen and not help! Also Alice met a new guy and I'm really worried that he's going to be a love interest and I'm not about that literally at all! Over in Fillory we finally found out what's going on in this world. Though it was a plot of the Dark King's advisor to hunt down fairies, the Dark King isn't all that clean either. As we find out in the end, he's the one who's been making the Takers by sacrificing gold though I still have no idea what the Takers are supposed to be. At least it seems now like maybe killing him might stop the Takers and if that's the case, we can totally do it!

The promo for next week shows us that Eliot might actually go to the Dark King and be like I know what's up which seems like a real dumb move to show your hand early like that. I don't see Julia with the Fillory crew but I'm sure she'll show up cause while Alice and Penny are busy in Brakebills and Kady is helping the hedges, Julia was on her way.

FINISHED Harley Quinn Season 1 Episode 13

The season finale of Harley Quinn just aired and it was a crazy adventure that I'm not sure how or if we'll move on from! I mean talk about destroying the world before closing your show! After Ivy died Harley and her crew decided to team up with Batman to take down Joker but in an odd twist everyone was defeated in like three seconds and dudes I totally expected more from Batman! I also high key expected the Justice League to come back at some point especially with Fables dead but it looks like they're still stuck there and apparently they only consist of three people. The younger sidekicks were also missing and I don't just mean Robin cause we know based on an earlier episode that there is a Teen Titans team but I suppose I can let that all go cause this is a Harley Quinn show afterall and this whole season was leading up to this final confrontation between the two. And seriously what a confrontation it was! Joker realized after he got everything that he wanted that he actually wasn't all that happy afterall and it was because he didn't have Harley beside him. This was a fascinating twist cause I never really thought that Joker was in love with Harley (especially after the way he treated her all season) but of course in true Joker crazy fashion he decided that since he doesn't like having a weakness that he was going to turn her back into Harleen Quinzel and in a twist that literally everyone and their mother saw coming Ivy came back to life and saved the day cause she is the most OP of the characters on this show!

What Shows Am I Watching This Week?

Hello everyone and welcome back! Let's dive right in shall we?

Welcome To Demon School Iruma-Kun Episode 19

This week's episode was actually really funny again at least in the ironic sense of the word cause the first half dealt with the removal of Kiriwo. While Iruma and Kiriwo were having their battle of words, the teachers managed to send a message to Sullivan which was hilarious cause he just straight up-and-left without even a how do you do and it just shows you how much stronger he is than pretty much everyone else as the only reason they held him is cause he thought it was fun. He was able to stop the firework debris from destroying Babyls and they ended up arresting Kiriwo but what was interesting was that Kiriwo didn't name Baal as an accomplice so it's possible that Baal tries something sketch at some point before this show comes to an end. The second half of the episode was more sweet with us not only meeting Azz and Clara's families but also Iruma realizing that Sullivan and Opera have become more of his family than his own biological parents were. I'm curious though about why Clara's dad and older brother and Sabro's older brother won't shown cause the only reason to do so is if they're important people to surprise us with in the future. Maybe Baal is Sabro's older brother cause they are both blondes??

ID: Invaded Episode 7

One of the struggles with this show is how complex the world is and how if I understood Japanese then I might be able to understand what information we're given on the first go round. Instead I have to pause and rewind so many times cause there's just so much to digest! This week we have Hondoumachi dive into Sakaido's well in order to find out if John Walker had entered Sakaido's mind like the other serial killers but it led to more questions than anything else. At first glance it doesn't appear as though John Walker had gone into his mind but somehow Sakaido's cognitive particles from 3 years ago are still connected to his current unconscious and at the same time the fact that there was a well for the final Challenger victim inside his own well is very confusing. I'm assuming that since Hondoumachi entered it that we'll see it next week and hopefully it'll answer some questions. Maybe John Walker kidnapped the final Challenger victim and has been using her to control Sakaido though his well? At the very least my theory about the serial killer who killed Sakaido's family still being alive was shot down cause we see him kill the Challenger this week in a flashback. I also refuse to believe that Momoki is John Walker cause not only does it feel too soon to have that reveal but the fact that all that evidence was just chilling there ready to be found makes me think he was framed for sure. I still think if it's anyone in the police force it has to be the Chief! 

The Flash Season 6 Episode 11

At first glance I want to say that I really enjoyed this week's episode mostly cause of everything Iris went through but everything that happened was marred by the fact that the Iris we saw wasn't the real Iris. I spent most of the episode going back and forth about what was real and not but in the end we saw that basically everything Iris and Barry struggled with in terms of their marriage wasn't even real. I mean it's possible that the mirror just enhanced things that Iris already felt about being a damsel or needing to be out in the field but like Barry her discontent came out of nowhere and it would have felt more real if we had seen Iris struggle before this moment. As a sidebar do you think that Barry has been like sleeping with some woman that isn't his wife? I was living though for Iris taking charge and while Barry ran around like a chicken with his head cut off, she was able to piece together Amunet's entire plan and it was extremely hilarious to end the whole thing with Amunet and Goldface getting back together. On the other side of things Frost and Allegra tried to get Allegra back with her ex and it was all very meh. I'm still waiting for the reveal that Allegra is Nash's daughter cause now I'm fairly sure that she's a daughter and not an ex based on how Frost's joke about Nash being parental. The most interesting part of this whole thing was Nash's sudden hallucination of Harry Wells and the thought that maybe this is how the Arrowverse finds out that there is a multiverse again. As a sidebar where in the world is Ralph? I miss him so much!

Next week's promo was a little hard to understand but maybe Barry and company will figure out that Iris isn't Iris. It'd be really interesting if we saw the episode from Iris's POV as she stalked them around different mirrors.

Legends Of Tomorrow Season 5 Episode 4

I wasn't the hugest fan of this week's episode and mostly I think I just didn't care for most of the storylines for each person. At first I was low key annoyed cause I didn't love the message that serial killers are just poor sad boys who needed one person to love them cause not only is mental illness so much more complex than that but also it gives a bit of fault to the victims. Not every person who's had a bad childhood turns into a murderer! That's why I loved the twist that the killer had been Freddie's mom all along and that he only took the fall to protect her. Mick, Sara and Ava were in the present day but they really didn't do much while Nate, Ray and Nora were in the past and tried to help Freddie have the best prom ever. I did really love that helping Freddie helped Nora figure out that she could actually be a really good Fairy Godmother who could really help children in need though I'm still curious how she and Ray will leave the show especially with Nora getting a sudden look at all the good she could do. Maybe it'll be as simple as Ray deciding he wants to travel with Nora full time instead of being on the ship? Zari and Behrad got some screen-time together and I'm still loving how real their sibling relationship feels but I'm most interested in how Zari got a flash of her old timeline. I guess that means that she'll be getting her old memories back as the show goes on while also keeping her current ones like Mia did on Arrow and I really like this idea tbh cause it'll bring back the Zari we love but also give us bits of the new one. Constantine went back home in order to meet up with an old witch he knew and for a second I got all excited thinking that maybe it'd be Zatana cause what other witch rolls in Constantine's comic crew but he said it was Astra's mom so I guess it'll be someone from his show instead.

Next week's promo looks like the fun I had been missing this week with the crew going to see Marie Antoniette which I can't wait for.

Riverdale Season 4 Episode 13

This episode made my blood boil and seriously that was such a good thing cause Riverdale has been so off-the-walls insane for so long that nothing mattered. I mean how the hell am I supposed to emotionally attach myself to a tickle porn storyline?? Of course in true Riverdale fashion the ending was back to being completely ridiculous but let's start with the stuff I actually connected to. Poor Jughead was not only kicked out of Stonewall but he also lost the Baxter Books contract and even his draft of the Boy In The River all because Stonewall was basically just using him like they did his grandpa. He almost was kicked out of Yale but luckily I think that by dropping out of Stonewall, the others won't be pressing the whole plagiarism thing. In the end though we finally caught up to the whole Jughead murder thing and it looks like we actually did get the whole story in previous flash forwards but in the way that the Stonewall Four are hiding the real truth. We're supposed to believe that Betty killed Jughead in a fugue state cause of Evelyn's magic trigger words but I imagine that if there was a fugue state that it just froze Betty long enough for Evelyn or Bret to attack Jughead. I also have a feeling that Archie did feel Jughead's pulse or Jughead whispered something and Archie is playing along cause I still want to hope that Jughead's alive. In other news Archie decided not to sell Andrews Construction or the community center, and Veronica struggled with Hiram's illness only to decide that the best way to perk him up was to reignite his competitive spirit.

We're taking two weeks off before the next episode of Riverdale airs and that's so annoying cause what kind of cliffhanger are they leaving us on! We also didn't get a promo after this episode aired and that's even more annoying.

The Magicians Season 5 Episode 5 & 6

I still don't know why we got two episodes back to back this week when it's not a midseason or a season finale but we got two hours of The Magicians and that's pretty damn awesome so I'm not complaining! These episodes were awesome overall as we faced not just the Harmonic Convergence but also the moon debris smashing the Earth to pieces. As a sidebar it was another two episodes of Eliot mourning what happened last season only this time it was more about his trauma about having been the Monster for a season rather than his pain about Quentin. Our whole crew came together to try to move the moon and we would have been good to go if it wasn't for Marina who came in and tried to stop us though she didn't say what she wanted. This sucks on so many levels cause though we were able to fix what happened in terms of the moon (with the help of magic whales which was hilarious as usual) Alice and Julia still made that deal to give their shade to that girl and I'm not thrilled about that cause without a shade it's back to season 2 Alice and Julia but I guess that's why they were offered the choice of giving it up cause if anyone could deal with no shade it's them. I also really loved that Eliot and Margo were the two to be stuck in a time loop cause of them spraying that time perfume on themselves earlier in the season as it gave them a real reason to be stuck in this loop! Meanwhile in Fillory Fen met a fairy but unfortunately we didn't get to see her meet any of the fairies this week because as we learned at the end of the episode, the Apocalypse was happening in Fillory not Earth so it looks like everyone will be heading there next week.

The promo for next week shows us that everyone will be heading to Fillory to figure out what's been going on and it looks like the Takers and possibly the Dark King will be what actually leads to the Apocalypse but I'm mostly just excited to see everyone in Fillory again cause it's been a while since anyone but Margo, Eliot, Josh and Fen dealt with Fillory stuff.

Harley Quinn Season 1 Episode 12

This episode was the penultimate episode and it was definitely crazy enough to ramp us up for the finale! We learned that it wasn't actually the Legion that was trying to do this whole plant monster thing but in fact Joker trying to destroy the Legion with the help of Scarecrow and Fables who joined cause she wanted to be on the winning side. I do wonder where the other Legion members are but it's possible that Fables sucked them into her book like she did the Justice League. Now that she's dead I suppose opening her book might be a way to release them again? Ivy kicked major ass as usual but I absolutely refuse to believe that she's dead cause there's no way that Ivy dies when she's one of the best parts of this show! I also really loved the joke that everyone but Harley knew that Ivy and Kiteman were dating cause I do adore them together and it's hilarious how everyone else is like Ivy what do you see in him? Jim Gordon is the best as the comedic relief character in this show and I will never get tired of him being the strung-out crazy one who wants to send in tanks and bombs all the time but is held back just enough by Batman to take the more logical route.

What Shows Am I Watching This Week?

FINISHED Miraculous: Tales Of Ladybug & Cat Noir Season 3

I know I'm like 2 months late on this review but Netflix didn't upload the second half of season 3 until this week which sucked cause I had to try so hard to avoid spoilers which was the struggle guys. Eventually I decided to just rewatch all of season 3 even though I had watched the first half of season 3 earlier cause you know the deal with Miraculous Ladybug and the Netflix order being different from their production order so I followed this to get the right watch experience. So overall I had a blast with this season although the end really left me feeling bittersweet! We technically won against Hawk Moth but at what cost? Master Fu had his mind wiped, every single Miraculous holder was exposed to Hawk Moth except for Ladybug and Cat Noir and he got exactly what he needs to decrepit the grimoire. I can't imagine where we'll go now cause I totally thought that Marinette would figure out a way to mind-wipe Hawk Moth but she didn't so does that mean none of our main cast can be Miraculous holders anymore? I also don't love that now that Marinette is the Guardian of the Miraculous that once she passes the Guardianship on that she'll lose all her memories cause that gives me a tragic ending vibe! On an even sadder note not only did we basically learn that there's no chance that this show will ever let Marinette and Adrien find out who each other are cause apparently that leads to an apocalypse (Gabriel is the worst father in the world) but even worse Adrien is definitely moving from Ladybug to Kagami which destroys my last hope that maybe Ladybug and Cat Noir could date without exposing their identities. I do love Luka though so that part of the new love square isn't so bad. 

I'm super looking forward to season 4 which I know is already in production. I still want Marinette and Adrien to figure out who each other are despite the show all but telling me and I really want Adrien to find out either that his father is Hawk Moth or that his plan is to bring his mother back. I'm also really curious as to what Felix wants!

Welcome To Demon School Iruma-Kun Episode 18

A part of me was right in claiming that the conclusion to Kiriwo's evil plan was going to be a bit lame but the rest of me was impressed in how Iruma dealt with it cause though it still wasn't as exciting as I would have wished it to be, it didn't go down the way I thought it would so in that case it worked. Iruma didn't even bother to talk down Kiriwo once he realized what was happening which is totally what I thought he would do and instead used his own willpower to destroy Kiriwo's machine. It was such a badass moment when Kiriwo was like no one but Sullivan himself could destroy my barrier but what he didn't know was that Iruma had that power in his ring and it was everything to see him smirk before unleashing all that power! It does suck so hard that no one will know how close they were to dying and how Iruma saved the day but I suppose Iruma himself knows so that was great. It was hilarious that Kiriwo is a bit of a sadist in that he enjoys other people's despair but Iruma broke him cause he's constantly used to despairing so he doesn't wallow anymore. We also got a bit of Kiriwo's backstory and it's the same as any other villain's out there in that bad childhoods don't force you to become bad. It was interesting though in the context of Kiriwo and Baal being demons cause it seems that demons in the past used to be all about enjoying the pain in others but the demons have evolved now so they don't feel the same.

ID: Invaded Episode 6

For all that I talked about how Hondoumachi feels like a younger version of Sakaido and that we'd probs be following her journey into madness like him, I didn't expect the payoff to happen so quickly. I had been getting a vibe for a while now that Hondoumachi was a little too reckless in her pursuit of murders and seemed a bit too excited by them but apparently I wasn't the only one cause her partner noticed it too. He was clearly freaked out by it enough to want to recommend her to be a well jumper and while she saw it as a promotion of sorts, he felt it was a demotion in order to not only protect the other officers from being thrown into her recklessness but also to protect Hondoumachi herself from diving off the deep end like Sakaido did. If she was no longer in the field, then she wouldn't feel the need to kill or hurt anymore. I'm not sure if this will entirely stop her cause unless they're planning on forcing her to live in prison like Sakaido, when she's out and about she could still decide to hunt down a criminal on her own or something. On another note I definitely agree with the idea that John Walker probs owns a version of Mizuhanome cause it makes a lot more sense than him having met all these serial killers in person. Maybe he is the creator after all and he's figured out a way to enter people's minds without needing cognitive particles. I don't know if I believe the theory that he's a cop though cause we haven't spent any time shading in all our cop characters so it wouldn't have the impact the show wants if it was one of them.

The Flash Season 6 Episode 10

We're finally back after having a bit of a delayed return after Crisis due to Arrow needing the time slot to wrap up not only its season but the series as a whole and this was actually the one show I was most interested in dealing with post-Crisis stuff since Flash was the only show that was so involved in Crisis beforehand and I was excited to see what changes would be brought about! To my immense pleasure this episode was a blast and what I'm hoping is a renewed energy for this show which really struggled to get to Crisis in the first half. First of all I want to say I love love loved the new intro card and it was super fun to have Diggle in this episode even though it was super unexpected cause I really thought after the Arrow finale last week it would be a long time before we saw any Arrow cast member again and honestly I will never get tired of the Diggle hates getting sped around by Flash gag. Barry's entire arc was very Spiderman: Far From Home in that he was struggling to decide how to live in a world without Oliver and how he felt the pressure to keep everyone safe after Oliver sacrificed himself. It made so much sense to have it be Diggle who helped him move on cause Diggle went through the same struggle in the Arrow finale. I also really loved the Iris storyline cause this is everything I ever wanted from her and since it definitely seems like Black Hole will be the villain for this back half of the season, her reporting will be important to the overarching story as Karen was on Daredevil. As for Cisco, it looks as though he's leaving the show which if it's true was a pretty terrible sendoff for him cause Barry didn't even get to say goodbye! We also reinforced what we knew that Nash somehow knows Allegra but whether she's a daughter or a girlfriend we still don't know.

The promo for next week looks amazing! After Iris got pulled into that mirror at the end of this week's episode it looks like maybe a mirror version of her came out that might have the opposite qualities as the normal Iris?

Legends Of Tomorrow Season 5 Episode 3

This episode of Legends was a complete blast and I definitely missed having it last week! We got Zari back a lot faster than I expected to tbh and it was a completely different version of Zari who's a social media influencer and I'm fascinated though I'm sure that since she's not in 2044 anymore that the more annoying part of that persona might be moot now. I like the new take in terms of personality changes but I'm definitely hoping that the whole filming everything thing might be tossed aside now that we got it for laughs in one episode. I also love how Nate is completely mesmerized and that girl barely had to do anything more than look at him. I was dying for when she was seducing him and he was one second away from spilling all the beans. Ava was also hilarious this week cause she was struggling to find her place now that she went from running the Time Bureau to being just another member of the Legends and I loved her dynamic with Mick but I especially loved the joke of fantasy/reality where she thought she was killing it on stage when in actuality she was drunken screaming all over. The whole era was also a lot of fun cause I love the wild time period and I loved Benjamin played by Jonathan Sadowski from Young & Hungry but I'm not the hugest fan of Astra as a character tbh so I kind of hope we don't spend all that time with her. It would have been so easy for Johnny to fix the season if he killed Astra at the end but he wants to redeem her cause of his guilt.

The promo for next week looks like we'll be hunting down a serial killer at prom and if that's not hilarious I don't know what is. It also looks like Zari might be making out with Mick which is totally weird but I might just have seen someone that looked like Zari in that second long clip.

Riverdale Season 4 Episode 12

This was actually a pretty good episode of Riverdale despite the massive shifts in emotional tone from character to character but we're still nowhere close to finding out what in the seven hells is happening with Jughead's death. What did happen was that though Jughead first challenged Bret to a duel, starting with a fencing match that Bret won and a fistfight which Jughead won, eventually he decided that enough was enough and that he was sick of Stonewall so he threw the final part of the duel in a chess match and returned to Riverdale High. I'm assuming that he's still going to write the Baxter books cause the duel was for honor and not the ghost-writer though it's possible that leaving Stonewall is an automatic dismissal. Betty and Alice tried to find proof of Bret's misdoings but eventually found out that maybe instead of Bret being the evil mastermind it might have been Donna. We know that Betty got suspended from Riverdale and ousted as the editor-in-chief of the Blue & Gold but we don't know if Yale rescinded their offer or not. Veronica went to NYC and met up with Katy Keene as a soft introduction to the newest Riverdale spinoff character and though we find out that she got into Barnard, the bigger reveal is that Hiram is sick and honestly I don't know how much I believe it cause it feels like another evil plot by the Lodges to get Veronica on their side. Archie and Frank went through the weirdest storyline of the week with a mercenary out to kill Frank but eventually he was arrested and Frank ran away leaving me to wonder what's next for Archie this season. Toni got revenge on Nick for Cheryl who had the heaviest story with struggling with her sexual assault trauma but I couldn't even take this storyline seriously cause it ended in that horrible tickle storyline that we're giving to Kevin and Fangs.

Next week's promo showed us that Veronica is super struggling with finding out her father is ill and it does make me believe Hiram is ill more than I did before but I still don't know if I believe it or not...

The Vikings Season 6A

Despite not doing weekly reviews for this show, I have been keeping up with this final season and because Vikings was going to be splitting it's final season into 2 parts, I decided that rather than waiting until the series finale to write a review that I should do a midseason finale review since both half seasons are usually just so different in terms of story that I thought that I couldn't do justice to this wonderful show if I didn't. This whole season has been about the downfall of the Vikings themselves and their culture and I'm honestly horrified by what I'm watching cause it has been so hard to be dealt failure after failure after failure. It began with the loss of my favorite character Lagertha and ended with the death of Bjorn who wasn't my favorite of the Ragnarssons (that's Ubbe tbh) but always had a special place in my heart for being the only child of Lagertha and Ragnar (oh how I still ship them.) I really wish the rest of the season was coming now cause I can't wait months until we see who finally takes Ivar down though I assume it has to be Ubbe with the help of France and Rollo or more likely England and Alfred who we know is best friends with Ubbe and despises Ivar. I can't even blame Bjorn for this loss cause he did everything in his power to fight and predict Ivar's moves but only lost cause most of the Vikings of Norway didn't heed Harald's call for battle. Maybe after the others find out what happened they'll be more open to it. Ironically Ivar isn't even my most hated character this season cause that award goes to Hvitserk the turncoat who spent the entire season high and hating Ivar but then suddenly he kills Lagertha, refuses to feel guilty and gets amnesia long enough to love Ivar again.

We're going to be getting 10 more episodes of season 6 to wrap up this season and this series but we don't officially have an airdate yet though I'd guess November again as Vikings usually airs around that time each year. I do know that Vikings finished filming before season 5 even finished airing so part of me is so pissed that they couldn't just air all 20 episodes at once like most shows do!

The Magicians Season 5 Episode 4

I had a blast with this week's episode of The Magicians. This season is finally settling in and I'm all on board for every storyline! So Eliot and the Dark King have been flirting up a storm while Margo works the Centurians cause until this episode we really didn't know what kind of person the Dark King was. There were allusions to him not being great but it wasn't until we saw that he's hunting down fairies that the nail in his coffin appeared. I had said last week that the Takers looked like fairies but now it seems that maybe the Dark King is so powerful cause he's been killing and stealing the magic of fairies? Either way I need to know what happened to the Fairy Queen too. Back on Earth Julia tried to summon a God to help with the whole harmonic convergence thing (which I will never not hear and think of Legend Of Korra) but eventually she had to choose saving Penny 23's life over saving the world cause the God would only help once which took away Penny 23's psychic powers and his traveling in an interesting parallel to when Penny 23 made the same choice for Julia in choosing her to become mortal instead of a God. Kady and Fogg went on an acid trip to go to a special world so they could figure out where the library depository was now and it ended with Fogg basically having to live in this world forever but the fact that Kady relapsed is really and truly horrible and I don't know why she couldn't ask Julia or one of the others to do it for her. Over in the Library Alice and Zelda had to burn all the books of people's lives in order to keep them from getting to the barbarians in a heartbreaking moment and for a second I was worried that we might lose Zelda too but thankfully she made it and she came back to Earth with a possible fix for the upcoming crisis. 

It looks like we'll be getting two episodes of the Magicians next week and I'm not entirely sure why cause we literally just started the season so it can't be cause it's a finale. The weirder part seems to be that we're going to be all hands on deck in order to fix the harmonic convergence but it feels too early in the season for that! I suppose that with magic at insane levels that if we did like last season and get everyone to do the same spell all over Earth that we'll be able to move the moon. Perhaps doing that will cause a different problem to occur that we need to fix?

Harley Quinn Season 1 Episode 11

This was a blast and a half of an episode cause it gave me everything I wanted in terms of plot and character development. I've said before that Ivy might be my favorite character on this show (though King Shark is definitely the funniest) and she was honestly such a badass this week. She didn't manage to escape on her own but she did get really far while still dizzy and sick. We ended up finding out that Scarecrow wanted her so that he could steal her pheromones and mix them with his fear toxin to control plants like Ivy and send them on a rampage but like I'm still so confused about why he's trying to steal Ivy's shtick. I mean evil plants seriously? It's a plot by the Legion apparently but like what's their goal? If they want Ivy to join them why do all this? Maybe they'll be like if you join us we'll give you the antidote so you can save all those trees from being killed? On another note we do see Harley rolling up to save Ivy with the crew who really didn't want to help Harley until they found out that it was Ivy in danger but the bigger take away was the reveal that Harley is actually Ivy's biggest fear. Ivy grew up struggling to make friends and she so was always terrified that Harley who was her only friend would leave her and the real kicker is that exact fear happened a few weeks ago and it was heartbreaking to see it dawn on Harley.
