Spring 2020 Anime Awards

Hey guys! So this week was the last week of the Spring 2020 Anime Season so I thought it would be fun to shout out some of the my superlatives for the season!

Anime Of The Season

Fruits Basket is definitely my anime of the season for so many many reasons and I can't help but wonder if it's fair to have it here cause it's second season isn't actually over yet not to mention the fact that maybe I should have placed an actual seasonal anime as my pick but it's my anime list so bite me! I mean what can I say about Fruits Basket that hasn't already been said?? I love the way it balances lighthearted moments with dark ones and how everything though fluffy at first glance is so much darker underneath! The characters are all so charming and I really enjoyed how the first season was all about meeting our characters and learning their backstories so that season 2 could focus on the plot and the Sohma family curse. Click here to read more of my thoughts about this anime.

Runner Up - Tower Of God

Hidden Gem

Gleipnir is my hidden gem of the season cause I really had no idea what this anime would be about and after I started watching it, I was honestly shocked by how interested I was in the story and the characters but even more so with how little it was talked about this season! I mean yeah it's got an obscene amount of fan service in it but I find that it doesn't bother me as much as it probably should cause I get so distracted with the dark plot and the fascinating characters and the cool mystery! I really think more people should be checking this anime out cause it's totally worth a watch. I love that we learn more about the world as the characters do but as it goes on we're left wondering if we actually don't know anything at all! I do wish there was a bit more action in this anime cause I went in thinking it'd be a death game show like Darwin's Game but it feels a bit more like a scavenger hunt than anything else.

Runner Up - My Next Life As A Villainess: All Routes Lead To Doom!

Best Sequel

Fruits Basket Season 2 is without a doubt the best sequel of this season but then again it didn't have much competition with there only being two anime that I watched this season that were sequels but in the end I went with Fruits Basket cause not only was it something I had waited a year for but I felt like it was a fantastic sequel to the first season cause it took what we loved and added to it. I'm fascinated by the arcs our main characters go through and how much they've changed from the first time we met them. The stakes feel so much higher this season and I'm so glad that the show is officially tackling romance and we're learning more about the family curse and what it means. Click here to read more of my thoughts about this anime.

Runner Up - Psycho Pass 3: First Inspector

Greatest Animation/Character Design

Tower Of God is my pick for best character design but this was a hard one cause I feel like unlike the winter season where there was a clear winner, this season had a bunch of anime that felt similar in terms of art style which is why I thought I should shout out the simplistic nature of the animation and characters in Tower Of God. Since this anime is based off of a Korean webtoon, the animators decided to keep the characters looking the same as they were first drawn and that's amazing cause it definitely separates them from the others. I like that almost every creature is drawn to look like something that isn't part of our world and I think all the action is well depicted too!

Runner Up - BNA

Best OP

Top by Stray Kids from Tower Of God is my pick for best OP for many reasons. Low key I adore Stray Kids so I was kinda biased from the start that one of my favorite kpop groups sang the opening and it's a bop for sure. I also like the way the OP cuts between scenes from the anime and title credits which I know a lot of people hated but I enjoyed!

Runner Up - Prism by AMPM from Fruits Basket

Protagonist Of The Season

Shuichi Kagaya and Clair Aoki from Gleipnir are favorite protagonists of the season and it might be cheating to have picked two protagonists rather than one but I'd argue that in Gleipnir, Shuichi and Clair are both the leads of the show cause where one goes, the other follows and the show would not be the same without both. At first glance it seems like the two couldn't be more different and that Shuichi is the gentler lead but as the show goes on, you start to see that the two are more alike than you realize. They're both ready to do whatever is necessary and want to protect each other from everything and it was a fascinating to see Shuichi learn to embrace who he is and to stop hiding from himself.

Runner Up - Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket

Antagonist Of The Season

Akito Sohma from Fruits Basket is without a doubt the best antagonist of the season and really there was no competition for him! Akito is fascinating cause not only do we not know much about his backstory or his motivations but we also don't see him every week and yet he's always this looming presence is the back of our minds. He is able to control every member of the Sohma clan through a mix of emotional and physical abuse, choosing his words and actions so carefully that when he does strike, he can destroy months of personal growth in one meeting. I love how he's practically the complete opposite of Tohru and I can't wait until we learn more about what made him the way he is though I'm not entirely sure it could redeem him! Click here to read more of my thoughts about this anime.

Runner Up - Yu from Tower Of God

Ship Of The Season

Shuichi Kagaya and Clair Aoki from Gleipnir are my ship of the season and the only reason I chose them over the runner up was just because I know that Fruits Basket is going into the next season so it wouldn't be fair for them to win ship of the season two seasons in a row. It also really helps that I think Shuichi and Clair are two halves of one person like I mentioned in the protagonists of the season section. They are the perfect definition of opposites attract and I love that whatever flaws the one has the other covers it. They're super protective of each other and something about the way they would die for one another and die without the other just speaks to the tragic bitch in my heart! I also love that they never judge each other for any of the decisions they make.

Runner Up - Kyoru from Fruits Basket

And with that I'll see you all in the Summer 2020 Season!

What Shows Am I Watching This Week?

Hello everyone and welcome back! Let's dive right in shall we?

Fruits Basket Season 2 Episode 12

Talk about unexpected! When I heard that this week's episode would actually be focusing outside of our main cast I was worried that I would be uninterested in the story but I really should know better cause this is Fruits Basket after all! I was never all that interested in Hatori's backstory either of the times I heard it whether it was in the 2001 version or season 1 of this version but somehow hearing it again but from Mayu's point of view was low key fascinating. Mayu is Tohru, Kyo, and Yuki's current homeroom teacher and Kana's best friend and Shigure's ex though from what we see this week, she and Shigure weren't entirely dating for real. The more important thing to note is that she also was in love with Hatori for a while which she never acted on cause he was with Kana and honestly the way she went about the whole thing was just so sweet. She never once (even now) expected Hatori to love her back. All she wanted was for him to be happy whether that was with Kana or someone else entirely. What's funny for me is that she really just highlighted the fact that the Sohmas all fall for the same type of person, the kind of person who pities them and wants happiness for them. Between Tohru, Uo, and now Mayu, it's clear that the Sohmas who have had nothing but Akito's fake love yearn for kindness and true love. It's also interesting to note that the woman that Hatori was walking with a few weeks back wasn't actually his girlfriend but Hiro's mom who was getting a check up and must have found out she was pregnant at that time.

Stargirl Season 1 Episode 6

This was a super fun episode and every week I'm just honestly so impressed with this show cause I originally was expecting to watch a show that was a mix between Titans and Supergirl with cheesy writing and over-the-top messages but this show has heart and I can't help but wonder why of all the shows on the DC Universe app it's literally only Titans that has a hot mess of a writing staff since every other show is good! I kind of adore how much Courtney respects and looks up to Pat now compared to how she disliked him at the start of the show cause it clearly hurt her to have Pat disappointed in her and she did try to listen to him when he told her to get the JSA costumes back from the others though of course the other kids didn't want to listen. I'm still iffy about Beth but I adore our team so far and I low key loved how Courtney got a taste of her own medicine when the others refused to listen to her and dove into fights not knowing what the stakes were. I did wonder if the show was going to brush off the fact that none of these kids should really have held their own in a fight against the ISA so I'm glad that Pat said that they'll need training. I suppose between Courtney's gymnastic skills, Yolanda's boxing training, and Rick's general bad boy fighting that they've got a good starting point. As a sidebar if you're counting, week 6 and I still don't know what the ISA's big plan is. We've now stolen satellite tech and some codes from a communications company but then what?

FINISHED Tower Of God Episode 13

Though this episode was the finale for the season, it was also a flashback episode in which we finally saw why Rachel is the way that she is and what she had been through since she and Bam parted ways. I'm not sure if it was meant to make us sympathize with her or not but either way it really just made me despise Rachel more. Her problems is that she's an insecure whiny child who was jealous of how Bam was able to make friends and shine in this Tower rather than suffering quietly like she did in the background and this sort of character always drives me crazy cause it's like it's not that the other person is greater, it's that you're too dark inside. The Tower guardian himself told you that cruelty is leaking from your every pore. The worst thing about all this is that she managed to convince everyone but Khun (he's the best boy after all) that Bam was killed by the bull and that they should help her climb the Tower to honor Bam when it's like she could barely care less about him. As a sidebar, are we supposed to believe that the test allowed them to jump to the top of the Tower or that it was just a test to allow Rachel to continue climbing despite her fake injury? I'm also still unclear about what the Tower wants with Bam cause as we see now it meant to bring Bam and not Rachel making him a Regular not an Irregular. Yu wants something from Bam too with how he sent Hwaryun to test him separately and at the end we see her approach Bam and say that she'll train him so that he can climb the Tower. Maybe they're all hoping that Bam can defeat the previous King of Jahad and make himself the new one? Either way when the next season of this show comes out, I'll be right back here!

Agents Of SHIELD Season 7 Episode 5

This week's episode was low on humor, high on stakes and all in all totally insane!! For the first time this season, it finally started to feel like our SHIELD agents might be a little over their heads! The Chronicoms have always been kind of a hard sell for this show to make in order to convince us that they're really as bad as the characters on this show say they are but this week it was pretty clear where their strengths lie! Because they can't age, the Chronicoms could stay in the past and help Hydra speed up their evil plans by building Project Insight in the 70s rather than during Captain America: Winter Soldier but more importantly their seer can basically predict every move SHIELD will make before they make it. I can't see how our team can win unless we get to their ship and blow everything up thus killing most of the Chronicoms so that even if their minds are stored elsewhere, the ship computer will be destroyed too. In other news I'm almost fairly certain now that the Jemma we've been traveling around with is a LMD but unlike Coulson, she doesn't know she's an LMD which begs the question: where are the real Fitz and Simmons? Did they somehow fall into the past and spent a lifetime trying to figure out time travel only to be too old to use it for themselves? If that was the case, why not have a Fitz LMD too?

Next week's promo shows us that our team is going to officially be attacking the Chronicoms rather than playing defense. It is too early in the season for a win though so I can't see things going well.

FINISHED Harley Quinn Season 2 Episode 13

So this was the finale for season 2 and a possible finale for this show in general though low key I doubt that since I've heard nothing but positive reviews for this show so DC would be crazy to cancel it. Ivy and Kiteman's wedding was on but of course it couldn't go down cause Ivy and Harley belong together so Jim decided it would be totally heroic and awesome if he crashed their wedding and arrested all the supervillains who were attending. Harley found out from Two-Face that this was happening so she tried to stop Jim but actually just made herself look desperate in front of everyone else so in the end the wedding was ruined and Kiteman let Ivy go cause he could see that Ivy didn't actually want to marry him but was scared to leave cause her future with Harley was even more nebulous. I wasn't the hugest fan of this finale tbh cause it wasn't funny or dramatic but then again it's hard to compete with season 1's finale!

What Shows Am I Watching This Week?

Hello everyone and welcome back! Let's dive right in shall we?

Fruits Basket Season 2 Episode 11

Wow. I never would have expected that Kagura who was my least favorite Sohma member (cause I found her so annoying and over-the-top) would have won over my heart this week but I shouldn't be surprised anymore cause the writing in this show is absolutely incredible and every time I think the show isn't going to make me cry, it does! A few weeks ago Rin made a comment to Kagura about her love was fake and I didn't think much of it until this week when Kagura admitted to it. When they were children Kagura was Kyo's first friend but in actuality Kagura only talked to Kyo cause he made her feel more superior than him since no matter her problems at least she wasn't the cat. After she was horrified when she saw his true form, it made her feel even more terrible about herself so to cope she convinced herself that she didn't care about his true form and that she loved him the same way his mom pretended to love him. It's curious that she finally decided to admit this to Kyo but I guess it was cause she saw how different he was now and I can't decide if the end of this episode meant that she still loves him like a brother like she did when they were kids (emphasized with how she called him Kyo-chan and not Kyo-kun) or if we're supposed to believe that after all that pretending, she really did fall for him. Either way, it was also important to note the way Kyo was acting cause even after everything Kagura said, he didn't get irritated or yell at her and calmly just told her that he won't ever fall in love with her and attempted to soothe her after she broke down. My heart breaks at how beaten into submission he is now after Akito but part of me is also just so into how soft he is now (with everyone but Yuki obviously.) Tohru also deserves a shout out cause the little angel is keeping up with her pledge to break the curse with how she rushed to find out more about the curse from Kazuma the second she got home though he didn't have any more answers for her.

Stargirl Season 1 Episode 5

This week we met two new members of our new Justice Society team in Rick and Beth though the focus of the episode was mostly meant for one and the other just threw herself into everything. Can you tell that I don't like Beth? She's been irritating since we first met her and now she's become Dr Midnite just because she has no concept of boundaries. I mean she invited herself to Courtney's house, snuck around, and all but stole Dr Midnite's googles and now we're forced to watch her join the team. The more interesting part of this episode was following Rick and his journey. We see that back in the day Rex must have realized that his identity as Hourman was compromised so he sent all his research to Pat and left Rick with his Uncle Matt and ran to hide with Wendi his wife only to be caught by Solomon Grundy and murdered. Rick grew up with what looks like an abusive uncle and this chip on his shoulder that makes him angry at the world and I'm fascinated by him cause he's probs the worst person to take on one of the JSA's legacy but also the hourglass is his by birthright so they can't exactly take that away. I do wonder if now that we've gotta our full season lineup and Pat found out what Courtney was doing, if they'll now go to the JSA headquarters cause Rick deserves to get to know who his father was. In other legacy news, it looks like Henry has gotten his mind reading powers and it sucks cause it looks like he is actually going to go down the villain route. I wondered if maybe he wasn't as bad as he seemed at first cause of how shocked and horrified he was when Yolanda's pics got out but the way he treats her now doesn't feel like he's low key guilty or anything. I'm still waiting to find out what the ISA wants cause now we see that the Fiddler is one of them and they stole a truck but like for what?

Tower Of God Episode 12

Holy hell I've never been more unhappy that I guessed an ending before! I knew there was no way that Bam could win this game cause then the show would be over too quickly but never once did I guess that it would be Rachel herself who would shove Bam out of the bubble at the last minute. I'm sure Yu convinced her somehow that the only way she would win this game is if she kicked Bam out cause there could only be one winner or some shit but either way I'm officially done with Rachel. She's the absolute worst and I need Bam to move the hell on from her immediately. Who cares about seeing the stars so much that you'll sacrifice anyone and anything for it???? It also helps that we finally saw Yuri again and the little badass as it turns out is not only a Princess of Jahad but she's also a Ranker so she's climbed the Tower and won and I'm over here like Bam pick her instead please. I don't entirely understand what Yuri is doing cause it's like if she's already a Ranker, does she just live in this Tower for fun? Why ask for Bam to meet her on the 77th floor? The best thing she did was murder the hell out of the Yuga and I low key love that she wasn't all that bothered by Anaak or Endorsi and was just like I do me girls so come find me when you're ready. The appearance of one of the Khun family members was also interesting and I wonder why he thought to grab Khun and bring him to Maria unless Maria asked for him herself cause I'm sure she's learned that being a Princess is boring and love might be the better option. Unfortunately for her, Khun has moved on.

Agents Of SHIELD Season 7 Episode 4

Ahh as I called it last week, it looks like we faked Sousa's death in order to keep history intact but to save the life of someone important and I couldn't be more thrilled cause the more Sousa the better! I am really glad though that nothing really terrible happened to LMD Coulson last week and that the flickering in his eye was just a system meltdown in that he lost color in his sight so everything was black and white which was hilariously awesome cause it allowed the show to be in black and white and homage to 50s movies! It was really fun to have such a noir theme to the episode and I'll never not be amazed at what an excellent spy Sousa makes cause you can never see him flinch whenever something isn't right. He plays along just until he can reveal himself and it's amazing cause none of our other SHIELD agents can act like that! SHIELD when it began in the Marvel universe was meant to be a spy organization but none of our agents can act for shit and they're more enforcers than anything else. I am a little worried that the Chronicoms are now turning to HYDRA and basically revealing everything cause I can't imagine that Malick will roll over and pretend like nothing happened but it would be fun if the show actually changed the future and when our SHIELD agents got back, suddenly a lot of our previously dead agents were back and on the good side like Lincoln and Hunter and Bobbi and Ward!

It looks like we're in the 70s next week and I'm not entirely sure what we're going to be doing but I'm all for it! Still no Fitz though which really does suck.

Harley Quinn Season 2 Episode 12

Every week I can't help but feel more and more bad for Kiteman who's clearly more in love with Ivy than he knows what to do with and it doesn't help that Ivy has been cheating on him with Harley cause I truly hate cheating. Despite that I also want Harley to be happy so I'm low key also really into Ivy and Harley getting back together! The finale is airing next week and I'm certain that the wedding won't actually happen but whether or not Ivy and Harley get together is another thing. I really thought that maybe in order to up the drama that Kiteman would have ended up sacrificing himself to protect or save Ivy and that because of that she would feel too guilty to date Harley for a little while so that would be the will they/won't they drama of next season but now it looks like Ivy will just dump Kiteman for Harley and I suppose that works too. As a sidebar I do love that when the Justice League was dosed with Ivy's love hormones that it was Batman and Wonder Woman that had the hots for each other in a nice homage to their romance in Justice League Unlimited where I adored them.

What Shows Am I Watching This Week?

Hello everyone and welcome back! Let's dive right in shall we?

Fruits Basket Season 2 Episode 10

Well this episode made me cry again and honestly I can't decide if it's cause I'm just a giant baby or if this show is stabbing me in places I didn't expect! Either way, we finally had the confrontation we were waiting for with Akito coming to see Tohru! He was all riled up earlier cause someone from the main family called Ren did something and now Akito needs to come home right away so he decided to take out this anger on Tohru and Momiji when he wouldn't get Tohru. It was horrible seeing Akito punch little Momiji but I was FURIOUS when he scratched Tohru cause no matter how wrong it is morally at least in the eyes of the law Akito is the head of the Sohma family so he can dole out punishment but Tohru is just some stranger that he has no right to touch. I was a little disappointed that Tohru didn't stand up for herself or any of the Sohmas really but I think that she was just caught off guard by the whole thing cause she's never met a person like Akito before so maybe next time, she'll be able to stand up. I did like her realization that Akito is the God from the zodiac so that's why no one can disobey him but I'm not sure if I love the reveal that this control is the curse that the zodiacs are under cause honestly it just seems so horrible since Akito is not a good person. What if someone like Tohru was the zodiac God? Would it be a curse then? I'm hoping that someone will explain to Tohru and in return us the audience more of the details cause not only do we still not know why the Sohmas are under this curse but also how it could be broken? Is it as simple as true love can break any curse or will there be more to it?

Stargirl Season 1 Episode 4

This week we got to know Yolanda a lot more as more than one of the losers who sits at Courtney's table and man oh man did I feel horrible for her! I cannot imagine the pain that someone goes through after a scandal like she did and it's so awful cause you don't even know who to blame in that situation! I do have a feeling though that Cindy might have some of the same powers as her father the Dragon King does (though I don't entirely know what those are) and that she used them out of jealously. It was clear that Yolanda was extremely popular in the school being that she was kind and smart and a boxer and Cindy was jealous of that and the fact that she was dating Henry. I mean Henry's no saint either cause he was obviously showing his bros the photo of Yolanda but Cindy somehow got it and spread it around and Yolanda blamed Henry when it was clearly Cindy who did it. The worst part of it all is not just the fact that the kids at school were teasing her but the fact that her family shamed her so hard about it! I mean like taking away her phone and grounding her forever? Ugh. Why not just move to another city if they're so shamed by this whole thing? I hated that she finally built up all her courage to stand up for herself and they were all like nope we blame you entirely. All that being my way of saying that I adore Yolanda and I'm pumped that she's going to be our Wildcat! I think it's fascinating that in this world it seems like most of the heroes in this show will be getting their powers from their suits rather than some sort of metahuman ability but I guess it gives us a reason to believe that these high school kids with very little training can not only hold their group against these fully grown fully trained adults but also beat them.

Tower Of God Episode 11

So to my surprise, this final test is actually the final test which goes against everything I thought about how it's too early for Bam and Rachel to reach the top of the Tower! I mean it's still possible that we lose this test and that's how we keep Bam and the others together to climb the Tower slowly over multiple seasons but it's also possible after everything that we're learning about this world that there's more to be done outside of the Tower. What's crazy though is that this final test has really nothing to do with testing Bam or Rachel cause all they have to do is chill in that bubble until they get eaten and that it's everyone else that has to fight which is super confusing cause then how is this a test for Bam and Rachel? It would make more sense if everyone passed if Bam and Rachel are eaten! Poor Khun is trying his hardest but he doesn't know that this whole test has been rigged by Yu and Yuga and seriously I need someone to kill Yuga like yesterday cause the way he was playing around with Anaak had me all up in arms! I have no doubt that Endorsi isn't going to attack Anaak cause they've grown past that but whether she can help Anaak get away from Yuga is another thing. I'm also kinda confused about Yuri cause she was so prominent on the poster for this show but she's barely in this show so I'm wondering why that spot couldn't have been given to Anaak or something! I also have a weird feeling that somehow Rachel is going to die this season cause everything feels too happy and Yu seriously seems to have something against Bam and therefore Rachel so I can't see a happy ending!

Agents Of SHIELD Season 7 Episode 3

This week's episode was even better than the previous ones we had and you know how much I enjoyed the last two! The only thing that sucks is that I'm still really missing Fitz from this season cause he's been a main cast member for 7 seasons and yet due to scheduling issues, we can't even see him on a screen or something? I kind of expected the team to be traded between Fitz and Simmons like divorced kids but instead we're probs just going to hold Fitz until a big moment where he swoops in to save the day. Having said that like I said up top, I really did love this episode and mostly just cause it was so nice to see Sousa! He was one of the best parts of Agent Carter and no matter how much I preferred Peggy ending up with Steve over him, it was still sweet to see him show up and try to look nice for her only to be completely confused over Simmons appearing before him. The Chronicoms plan this time around was to power up a ion reactor that SHIELD built but could never power until way later in the future cause they were hoping to kill off every science member of SHIELD cause all the sci-tech agents of SHIELD were in this base but luckily our team stopped them. What is nerve-wracking is the fact that LMD Coulson was hit by a EMP and I'm low key worried about how the camera zoomed in on his eyes as he powered back up cause that's not a friendly shot. What if the Chronicom jumped into his body?? In other news, one of the funniest scenes in this episode was when Simmons and Coulson were trying to root out the Chronicom agents cause I was dying. It's also interesting to note that maybe May has returned to who she was after she had a flashback and I'm hoping that's the case cause as much fun as it has been to see emotionless May, I want the original one back!

The promo for next week shows us that we're still in the 50s and apparently in the original timeline Sousa is killed by HYDRA for realizing that they have infiltrated high government positions but I have a feeling rather than him actually dying, our agents are going to grab him and take him along with them cause history says he was gone but what's to say that he can't jump to the future?

Harley Quinn Season 2 Episode 11

This episode was absolutely hysterical and nothing went down the way I thought things would! After Harley reawakened Joker, Joker had to go through a whole series of events where he realized what kind of life he had been living while under amnesia and though at first he was horrified, in the end he realized that he actually liked that life and missed it so he decided to go back to Sophia and be the dad but also be the Joker. This whole thing was hilarious but totally fits in this world where the villains each have their own things outside of just doing evil. The whole time he also tried to convince Harley that she shouldn't give up on Ivy which is somewhere I never expected the Joker and Harley relationship to go cause despite how abusive he was, it's like they're friends now. Bruce the poor idiot returned to being Batman and one of the best scenes of the episode was when he tried to guess at what was happening only to be corrected and Joker to make fun of him for losing his detective edge while he was out. The Justice League finally escaped the Book and they went off to save the day while Ivy showed up all brainwashed by Psycho to kill Harley and I have a feeling that she's somehow going to cause the death of this family making Joker go even more insane!

What Shows Am I Watching This Week?

Hello everyone and welcome back! Let's dive right in shall we?

Fruits Basket Season 2 Episode 9

Why would this show think that's it's okay to play with my heart like this? I'm sobbing like a baby and it hurts so good! I have a feeling that we hit the nail on the head this week with the emotional impact we were going to see at the beach the way others have been gushing about because I can't imagine anything hitting harder unless Akito actually meets up with Tohru! Poor naive Tohru was so thrilled when she found out that Kyo was being summoned cause she thought it meant that he was finally being given a spot in the family and I low key almost teared up when she prayed for her to be happy. Akito the asshole brought Kyo in cause he was furious that his plan to separate the zodiacs from Tohru wasn't working cause Kyo was still wit her so by reminding him about what a monster he was, Akito hoped that Tohru would be miserable. In the end his plan half worked out cause while what he did allowed Kyo to realize that he's in love with Tohru, it also worked in convincing Kyo that he was bad luck to everyone around him and that he would no longer hope to be happy with Tohru. Now he just wants to love her and be with her while he can cause as we found out the reason that Kyo is out-and-about in the world unlike the previous cat spirit was cause he made a deal with Akito saying that if he could beat Yuki in a fight, Kyo could live the way he wanted but if he lost, then he would be confined. It breaks my heart and makes me wonder why Yuki couldn't be a smidge kinder and allow Kyo to beat him just the once to prevent this! We also learned that Kyo's mom died cause she killed herself and that everyone blamed it on Kyo cause he's the zodiac cat but we also learned that Tohru's mom was also close with Kyo. This worries me cause last season Kyo apologized to Tohru about her mom and I'm thinking that Tohru's mom's accident might have had something to do with Kyo like what if Akito got pissed at Kyo and killed the mom? I mean I wouldn't blame Kyo for it but he might cause of how much everyone else blamed everything on him!

Stargirl Season 1 Episode 3

The thing that really stands out about this show compared to other superhero shows out there is just how much focus is given to the Injustice Society members. We've learned about their backstories, what they want and even their relationships to their families and it's fascinating cause I find myself not wanting to hate all of them! Whereas Brainwave was clearly abusive to his son which led to his son being a bully at school, Wizard and his son had a great relationship and Joey was such a sweet kid which makes it all the more heartbreaking that he's gone. I really expected Icicle's big plan to have been to frame Joey's death on Stargirl so it would get William all ramped up but William in a surprising twist ended up being much too smart for that. He realized that Icicle had something to do with his son's death cause why else would there be this random patch of ice on a bridge but the bigger surprise was how Icicle just killed William without any fuss and that his parents helped clean it up! It brings me back to wondering what in the world this whole American Dream thing is and why he thinks that it'll save the country! So far it sounds just like he's been rebuilding towns but there's gotta be an evil aspect to all of it otherwise why would the JSA be against it? Speaking of, I'm also hoping that Joey's death is what leads to Courtney slowing down a little and realizing that rushing into things isn't how you be a hero cause there are actual consequences to all this since her own life being in danger hasn't been enough. I really loved that scene when Courtney and Pat went to the old JSA headquarters and I can't wait to find out who takes up the mantles of the new JSA! It seems we'll be getting a new Hourman, Dr Midnite, Green Lantern, Wildcat, and Thunderbolt though no Flash or Dr Fate yet. I also want to shout out the fact that Henry Jr seemed to have moved a mug in his father's hospital room so maybe he'll take up Brainwave's mantle now that Brainwave is out for the count and I can't help but feel like Wizard's wife will have a bigger role now that her whole family is dead. Icicle's son Cameron also received a lot of screen-time and I couldn't help but wonder if he'll be a love interest for Courtney cause the two definitely had chemistry.

FINISHED Legends Of Tomorrow Season 5 Episode 15

So the finale for season 5 aired tonight and though it wasn't as fun as a lot of previous Legends episodes, overall I did have a fun time and many of my season long questions got answered so there's that! Once The Legends regained their memories, they realized that they needed to destroy the Loom and find the Waverider in order to win the day which they managed to do after splitting up. One of the Fates was killed because Sara realized that part of that Fate's power was inside her and was the reason that she was seeing the future. Once she killed that Fate, her eyesight came back and she lost her powers. Unfortunately this didn't stop the other Fate from trying to rule the world but this time since the Loom was destroyed, she used a stolen Gideon in order to pretend to be the Loom and make decisions for people only to be stopped and everything returned to normal though I'm not entirely sure if we're supposed to think that everything went back to our original timeline before the Fates appeared or if everyone living in present day just has like a few months worth of different memories. In terms of character stuff, I'm fairly certain that Charlie just left the show cause she decided to find her roots, Zari 1.0 had to go back into the Loom cause her presence was killing Behrad, and Astra decided against reviving her mother but might be joining the Legends. Also to note is that we've officially brought the whole Nate and Zari thing to an end with Zari 2.0 and Constantine being a thing now (and without any of the what are we drama that I really expected the show to do) and the season ended with Sara being beamed up into space so that's probs what next season will be about! I do feel like in terms of season finales, this is one of the most low stakes one but maybe that's just cause I'm thinking of how impactful last season was with Zari 1.0 being replaced with Behrad.

Tower Of God Episode 10

Truly the most confused by all that's happening in this show. At first I thought this was a much more chill episode after the craziness of last week but then the ending hit and suddenly I'm back to wondering what in the world will happen! I can't help but feel like every time there's a side test in which the group is told that if you pass then you can climb the Tower straight up without any more administrator tests I start questioning things cause there's just no way that the cast can climb the Tower this quickly. I know the webtoon has chapters and chapters and chapters of story so unless the majority of the story follows our crew after they become Rankers, every side test like the Crown Game and this Administrator Test leave me thinking that okay so we can't win right? The problem is that this test seems to say that if Bam fails, then everyone fails so I can't see that happening either. It also sucks cause it doesn't feel like this Tower is politics-free and I wish I knew who was in charge. Is it Yu or is there a guardian of the Tower? Cause Yu is definitely not happy with Bam and Rachel being here and as we learn this week, it was him that gave Hoh the note about using them to win and he also is like oh Yuga you're a spy for the King of Jahad cool let me help you kill Anaak and win back the swords you need! If it's the guardian spirit we met when Bam needed to make a deal to use magic, then I have a feeling that the Tower might be more objective. It was also low key crazy that Serena just up and left though I had a feeling after last week this place was not for her.

Agents Of SHIELD Season 7 Episode 2

The one thing that sucks about time travel is always the moment when our cast of characters tend to question whether or not they should change things to make them better no matter how much they're told that the consequences would be catastrophic. We find out that the stuff that Freddy needs to get to Hells Harbor is the final ingredient of the super soldier serum and basically that if we don't let Freddy do his job, then all of Captain America: The First Avenger won't go down the way it was supposed to which was a nice nod to more than just the idea that HYDRA needs to form so SHIELD can combat it. Daisy decides that this doesn't matter and that they should kill Freddy and stop him from delivering what he needs to and I'm sitting here like dude that's exactly what the Chronicoms want so why would you give it to them not to mention the fact that the world will be a hell of a lot worse if Cap isn't in it! In the end though I'm glad Deke stayed true to who he was and refused the order so we were able to keep Freddy alive long enough to force both the Chronicoms and the Zephyr into the next Tide. That answers my question last week about whether we'd be hopping from time to time and why the Chronicoms wouldn't just wait for SHIELD to leave before doing what they wanted. The sucky thing is that Enoch got left behind but since he's a Chronicom it's possible he'll just hang out until SHIELD lands again and rejoin them there or maybe Fitz will grab him cause they are best friends you know. Speaking of, still no sign of Fitz but we did see May who was physically fine but seems to have undergone some emotional blocks so she's all mission focused and no emotions which sucks and I really hope that we get our May back cause it's the last season and I need my cast to be my cast!

The promo for next week looks super exciting cause Sousa is going to be appearing and I can't wait for that! I didn't catch what year we were landing in but I'm thinking somewhere around the 50s or so.

Harley Quinn Season 2 Episode 10

You know I had no idea that the reason the Justice League was still missing was cause no one knew where the Queen Of Fables hid her book except for Joker who lost his memories until this week but in hindsight it makes all the sense in the world. Harley went out to get really drunk and hook up with a rando cause she was heartbroken over the fact that Ivy told her that she couldn't trust Harley with her heart and in a strange turn of events, she ended up in Wayne's bar where the Joker was working. One thing led to another and as it turned out Psycho teamed up with Riddler to take over Gotham and Harley's original plan to work with Darkseid. He ended up brainwashing King Shark and Clayface and Syd killed himself helping Harley and Gordon escape but in the end they realized that the only person that could stop Psycho was the Justice League themselves thus needing the Queen Of Fables' book. I love the idea that Harley had to bring back the Joker in order to save the day but like what's to say that Joker would even help?

What Shows Am I Watching This Week?

Hello everyone and welcome back! Let's dive right in shall we?

Fruits Basket Season 2 Episode 8

Last week I had mentioned that I was wondering what evil Akito could get up to with this beach arc since it seemed like Akito's big gambit with Yuki ended up giving Yuki strength rather than breaking him down like Akito wanted but now I'm starting to feel like Akito's target is going to be Kyo and I don't think I'll be able to handle that cause Kyo's my baby! These last few episodes have had this ominous feel to them so that even when something happy or cute is happening, in the back of my mind I'm anxious about the future. Akito's big plan as it seemed was just to isolate Tohru from the other zodiacs by forcing them to spend time in the annex with him cause he was jealous that Tohru was "stealing" the zodiacs from him but what he completely forgot until Kureno mentioned it was that Kyo was still with Tohru. This is interesting cause in Akito's mind Kyo is nothing more than a monster who killed his own mother so he's not even worth considering as a person let alone a zodiac but once he saw how happy the two were together as they built sandcastles and flirted on the beach, he got pissed enough to want to invite Kyo over to the annex with the others and this is what I'm worried about. I'm afraid something Akito says next week will break Kyo cause he doesn't have the experience ignoring Akito's words like Yuki does cause he barely spends any time with Akito. It's also important to note how confident Yuki was acting this week and how he seems to no longer be hiding his emotions but also that Rin randomly showed up at the beach but how she doesn't want anyone else to know she's here. Apparently she's been staying with Kagura and her mom after the hospital and seeing Kagura again made me realize that I totally forgot about her existence and it made wonder why she didn't go with the others. On the plus side Kagura's mom seems like another one of the good ones so there's that.

Stargirl Season 1 Episode 2

I didn't love this episode as much as the pilot but mostly just cause it was a struggle to watch Courtney act like the teenager she is and refuse to listen to Pat when he was trying to help. Sure it's not entirely fair of me cause of course as a teen these powers are super cool and of course she's not going to be worried about dying but like at the same time she should know that after getting hurt and knowing that these people killed Starman and the JSA that it's not all a walk in the park! I also can't help but wonder if the villains in this show will really end up being the Injustice Society or if it'll end up being the kids of the Injustice Society cause part of me just finds it so weird that these fully grown adults are going to be fighting and attempting to kill a 15 year old. In cartoons or in comics it's not a big deal but making something like that live action is just slightly skeevy. I did like that we saw that the Injustice Society do have some sort of evil plan cause last week I was like so what did they do in the ten years after killing the JSA but we still don't entirely know what it is other than the fact that they're testing it here in Blue Valley and that the members pretty much run every aspect of the city. It was also interesting how Courtney ended up defeating the member of the Injustice Society that's probs the scariest cause a mind reader could figure out who Stargirl is and by defeating him and putting him in a coma, her secret identity is safe again. Having said all that I was glad though that this episode not only gave us the full costume but also the mission for the season (hunting down every Injustice Society member) and dialed back the school shenanigans cause that was definitely the least interesting part of the pilot.

Legends Of Tomorrow Season 5 Episode 14

This was the penultimate episode of Legends and I'm not entirely sure how I felt about it. It was fun to see our Legends in random tv shows having to act like the characters on them but at the same time I spent so much of the episode wishing our characters were the ones we loved. Apparently what happened after the Fates got the Loom last week was that suddenly they made the world into another one of those post-apocalyptic hell dimensions where everyone has to follow specific rules and life is terrible and I was really honestly confused by this whole thing. I think I was just thinking of the Fates from the Greek sense where they don't want to rule the world or control humans but I suppose this version of the Fates do. In order to save the Legends, Charlie put them all in tv shows and wiped their memories. Zari, Nate and Behrad were on a Friends-like show while Astra, and Constantine were on a Downton Abbey type show and Sara, Ava, and Mick were on a Star Trek parody. The most interesting part of all this was the reappearance of Zari 1.0 from our old timeline who took over the body of Zari 2.0 from our current timeline but in the end was given a whole separate body by Charlie as an attempt to convince the Legends to stay safe where they were. It was nice to see her again and part of me remembered why I shipped Zari 1.0 and Nate but the rest of me was ironically missing Zari 2.0 (alongside Behrad and Constantine) which was not something I expected when this season started! I really just want to shout out Tala Ashe for making the two Zari's into completely and noticeably different people! I'm going to be really curious to know if Zari 1.0 will stick around or disappear at the end of this season.

Next week is the finale and it looks like we'll be battling the Fates and though I'm sure that we'll win, I wonder if everyone will get what they want in the end. Behrad is already back and everyone has their old timeline memories but is Astra giving up on Natalie?

Tower Of God Episode 9

This week was a bit of a struggle to watch cause it highlighted how Bam is my least favorite kind of male lead. He's too naive to exist in this world where people are backstabbing left and right in order to get where they want to go and yet he's the one being like Endorsi no we can't be traitors when it's everyone else who betrayed their comrades. Poor Hatz was beaten senseless cause his teammates decided to run rather than fight by his side, and Rachel was close to death cause Hoh was a web of insecurity. At least in the end Bam stepped up and helped Endorsi win the game but I have a feeling he really didn't learn much from all of this. It also low key sucks that Team B is the one that ended up passing over Team A cause Team B was full of people who were looking out for themselves while Team A seemed to actually like each other but I guess in terms of plot development, it's better to have more backstabbers than friends in a show like this. It's also strange that Serena wasn't more upset with Hoh's betrayal cause he literally tried to kill someone which I feel like everyone is overlooking but she ended up focusing more on her own insecurity after seeing how much stronger Bam and Endorsi was than her and Hoh. The other thing to note is that we still don't know who wrote Hoh that note though if I had to guess I'd say it was either Khun or Endorsi. Khun cause he was the one to tell the Ranker that Hoh would be trying to kill Rachel in front of Bam and Endorsi cause of a comment she made about knowing something like this was going to happen.

Agents Of SHIELD Season 7 Episode 1

This new season of Agents Of SHIELD should really be called Legends Of SHIELD or Agents Of Tomorrow! No but seriously all jokes aside, I can't tell you how excited I am about this season cause I love time travel! I do have to admit that it was a bit of a struggle to remember what had happened in season 6 which came out a year ago but as the season premiere went on, all the important bits came back to me slowly. The Chronicoms are trying to take over Earth to make it into their new planet after losing Chronica-2 to the Shrike but to do so they need to get rid of SHIELD which is the only thing standing in their way and so they decided the most effective way of doing so rather than killing everyone in the present is to go back in time and stop SHIELD from ever forming. We landed in the 1930s and in a fabulous twist instead of killing FDR who would form the SSR, the Chronicoms are targeting Freddy Malick who is the father of Gideon Malick aka one of the founders of HYDRA. It's a super fun twist that our SHIELD agents will have to protect HYDRA in order to protect SHIELD after everything they've been through! In other news Enoch is alive as is May though whether all her memories are intact is the question and YoYo gets more realistic robotic arms but we still haven't seen Fitz yet! Deke is a lot more focused this season which is totally throwing me off and I'm going to be really curious to see what other characters we'll end up meeting as this season goes on. We already know that Sousa will be appearing this season but like what about Howard or Peggy? This season is supposed to be taking place in the Pre-Endgame timeline so if we see her, it'll be an Agent Carter-verse Peggy not the Peggy that Steve comes back for.

The promo for next week really makes me curious about whether our Agents will end up sticking here in the 30s for the whole season or whether we'll be hopping around. I mean say we kill all the Chronicoms that came here, will they just give up and move to a different target? Are they stuck following the Time Tides as Fitz called them and have to leave once the Tide shifts?

Harley Quinn Season 2 Episode 9

Yikes this show makes me low key feel like a terrible person for liking Kite Man and Ivy together! I can't decide if we're supposed to think that Ivy loves Kite Man or if she's just settling cause she doesn't trust Harley to stay. Honestly though Harley is probs the last person that you would think would want a casual relationship cause I mean look at everything she went through for Joker! She kept taking him back over and over and it makes me wonder what the real thing Ivy is scared of cause it's obviously not that Harley would flake. I bet it has more to do with the fear that if they start a relationship and it doesn't work out, Ivy would lose the one person in her life that has stuck around through it all. Everything with King Shark was hilarious too and the reveal that he's the heir to the throne was a surprise though I knew he was engaged cause he had said so in a throwaway line earlier this season or last. I died with the whole poop song that sounded suspiciously close to Under The Sea and it's high key hilarious that Kite Man and the others spent the entire bachelor trip on a boat fighting not to finish a puzzle cause they promised King Shark not to do it without him while Ivy and the girls went to the spa, partied hard, and killed a villain to save the day.

What Shows Am I Watching This Week?

Hello everyone and welcome back! Let's dive right in shall we?

FINISHED Batwoman Season 1 Episode 20

This was a strange episode and I don't mean because this was a random episode of Batwoman that was meant to be the finale but because I just can't get behind where the show is going. I'm really not a fan of how Jacob has suddenly buckled down on Batwoman cause unlike Quentin over on Arrow, though Jacob had never been a fan of Batwoman he never had a kill order on her either and I just can't buy his about-face especially through a throwaway line like she let my wife's killer back on the streets. That's Alice right? Who killed Mary's mom? I mean by that logic so did he cause he wasn't able to stop Alice's escape. He's going so far as to literally trying to shoot Batwoman at point blank range and trying to figure out what kind of bullet could pierce her armor and his anger frightens me a little. It was especially intense not only to see Kate's heartbreak over the betrayal in the arena but later when she talked about how her dad hated her and how if he ever found out the truth would think of her the same as Alice. If that's true, Jacob has completely lost it cause Alice is out there murdering people while Batwoman is just trying to help. I am loving the way Mary, Luke and Kate are a team and honestly I hope the show sticks to a small team like this cause in these Arrowverse shows when there's a million people on the team it's ridiculous. In other news Alice killing Mouse completely shocked me honestly and might be the thing that shows us that Alice has officially snapped and that Beth is completely dead now. Mouse just wanted them to leave Gotham and be happy but Alice couldn't look away from her revenge but the most shocking part of all this is how the show has officially cast a Bruce Wayne and he's honestly exactly like what I'd picture a Bruce to be. At first I thought he looked too young (like Tyler and Melissa being too close in age over on Supergirl) but upon further research the actor who plays Bruce is 10 years older than Ruby Rose so it all works out.

Fruits Basket Season 2 Episode 7

Well Akito's arrived at the beach and so far honestly he's not been so bad! I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop but if Akito doesn't break Yuki, then it has to be Kyo or Tohru cause they're the mains and I can't imagine every manga reader screaming about the beach if Akito hurt a side character no matter how much I love them! It was interesting to note how everyone's moods dropped the second Shigure mentioned Akito was here but even more so how Akito brought Kureno with him and that Kureno is literally not allowed to even interact with the others. I really wish I knew what Akito's deal was cause he's so weirdly possessive of all the zodiacs and I wish I knew why he picked the favorites he did. Why is he so obsessed with Yuki but then can't go anywhere without Kureno while also draping himself all over Hatori and Shigure? I almost completely forgot that Kyo's not allowed to be around Akito and like though Tohru was sad for him being left out, honestly it was probs for the best cause no one wants to be around Akito. It's funny cause Kyo has his own demons but he also feels like one of the more well-adjusted zodiacs. Maybe I just feel this way cause Yuki in comparison is a hot mess or because of his relationship with Tohru. We got another example this week of how differently Kyo and Yuki view Tohru and how they interact with her and why I prefer Kyo. Kyo notices when Tohru is off and he tries to help her and their bond is much more mutual while Yuki I was back-and-forth about in terms of how he saw her but this week I really got a motherly vibe from Tohru in Yuki's eyes and he really only sees Tohru for how she can help him. I also liked that we learned a little more about some of our zodiacs' parents. We knew that Kyo was estranged from his birth father and that his mother killed herself and I'm assuming that's why his father hates Kyo. Yuki's parents gave him up to Akito as we've seen but nothing more and Momiji's mom hated him until she forgot him. I think Kisa's mom somewhat loves her but we learned this week that mom of the year goes to Hiro's mom who looked at Hiro turning into a goat and said I love goats and if that's not the sweetest thing I don't know what is. Hatsuharu's family is the only one left that we haven't learned of.

Stargirl Season 1 Episode 1

Wow. Wow. Wow. I went into this show not really expecting much cause I wasn't a huge fan of the trailers since it made this show feel too cheesy but honestly after watching this pilot, I'm seriously all the way on board with this show! It struck the perfect balance of action and character development. Courtney was fun to watch and I loved that though she was upset about Pat and the move, she didn't really take it out on anyone else and was able to see that her mom was happy so she wanted to try to like Pat. Of course it helped that at this point she figured out that Pat was a sidekick so that makes him all the more cooler! I love that the Cosmic Staff is kinda sentient and that Pat will be around to help train Courtney and teach her how to use it even if he's not thrilled that she'll be putting herself in danger. Pat's pretty awesome so far and I low key love the humor in this show but I don't know if I believe that Starman was Courtney's father cause I think the Staff works like a Green Lantern ring in that when one user dies, it finds another that's worthy. It's also interesting that we already have a whole bunch of villains for Stargirl to fight in the Injustice Society and that despite having won for the past 10 years or so, it doesn't look like the members have done much for themselves cause it's not like they're ruling the world or anything like that but I'm also curious about the other heroes we'll be meeting and if they'll end up being kids of heroes or if Courtney will make friends and then recruit them or if they'll meet as heroes first and then become friends in school. Overall I think the writing on this show is tight and the characters are well written and acted. It feels like every DC Universe show has a plan and it's only been Titans that has been a mess!

Legends Of Tomorrow Season 5 Episode 13

You know I had been wondering last week how we'd be doing a zombie apocalypse this week but I really should have guessed right away that it was obviously going to be a trick of the Fates! It's totally funny though cause for a second I really did wonder if we were going to loose Sara and then end up bringing her back with Behrad and Astra at the end but once all the Legends starting dying, I realized that we would be going a different route. I'm not entirely sure how Charlie is supposed to overpower or trick her sisters into doing literally anything on Charlie or the Legends's bucket list but with the immortality spell wearing off before we got our hands on the Loom, that is the only way to get what we want. I knew from the start that something was going to go wrong cause of the way Sara reacted when Ava touched her but it is always fun to see Ava lead the Legends with how she's always so nervous and confused by it. Astra struggled to decide whether a few good moments with her mom would be worth it if she'd end up losing her mom anyway but like Gary showed her, of course it's better to have some moments than none and besides Astra doesn't know how far into the future her mom will die! What if Astra has another 20 years? In other news Zari and Constantine finally hooked up (and Charlie picked up on it right away which was hilarious) and I'm living for the soft looks Constantine keeps giving her when she's not looking and how Zari's so adamant about keeping him from smoking. I do have to admit that I really expected more of a love triangle with Nate but he's like seriously backed off of Zari but I guess it's more likely that he just has no idea that anything is even brewing between them to worry about and once he does then he might have something more to say.

Next week is the penultimate episode and it looks like we'll be going from tv show to tv show and that somehow it'll be Charlie's doing but I actually really hope that Behrad is there too cause if Charlie brings back all the Legends this way, she should be able to get him back too though maybe Gary and Astra might be too hard.

Tower Of God Episode 8

Guys honestly I think I'm just too dumb for this show cause most of the subtle hints end up just flying over my head! Apparently despite losing the tag game, some of the characters could pass based on their scores from training and I guess their abilities to impress the test admins in this test so Khun, Lauroe, Shibisu and Anaak had enough points to pass but Bam, Hatz, Endorsi, Serena and Hoh are up in the air though I'm not sure if I'm too worried cause it's too early in this show to stop a main cast member from advancing. I still don't love that Hoh is on our team cause I still can't help but feel like he's going to be an antagonist or at least a thorn in the side of the others just cause of how jealous he is of Bam so I want him to have to suffer on his own. Poor Serena was just trying to make conversation and he seriously shut her down. I also can't decide what Endorsi's plan is but I imagine that she picked up hints that Khun left behind like the test admins said that Khun did. Khun is still best boy and if it wasn't for my baby Kyo over on Fruits Basket, I might be saying that Khun is my season favorite! I just love the way he's low key so manipulative and cunning but also so loyal and kind to those he likes. I'm still annoyed with Bam's obsession with Rachel but I'm hoping that he manages to kick some real ass next week when we get to see more of Team B's tag test.

Harley Quinn Season 2 Episode 8

This episode was both hilarious and sad for so many reasons! After the kiss that Harley and Ivy shared last week, Harley was struggling to decide how she felt about the whole thing and decided that instead of looking inside that she was going to do something really evil in order to prove to the world that she was okay. When Psycho recommended that they go visit Darkseid and ask to borrow his army of parademons, my brain automatically went uh-oh bad plan abort cause I was thinking of how big and bad Darkseid is normally and how out of her league Harley would be but I forgot that since this show is more of a comedy, Darkseid wasn't much scarier than our normal villains and in fact acted like a bit of a therapist with how he noted that Harley was trying to fill a hole in herself with his army. It also ended up meaning nothing when she gave up her powers and basically sent the parademons home after Ivy was like what the hell are you doing Harley. Meanwhile Ivy and Kiteman met his parents and we found out that his parents don't think much of him cause he doesn't have powers and though Ivy tried to play along eventually she couldn't stand how he was being treated and stood up for him which was super sweet. It's such a struggle for me cause Harley is clearly into Ivy not but Ivy still loves Kiteman and either way someone in this love triangle is going to be crushed!
