What Shows Am I Watching This Week?

Hello everyone and welcome back! We're a bit light this week but in a few weeks all our Fall 2019 shows will be back so it'll get more intense! Anyway, let's dive right in shall we?

Titans Season 2 Episode 5

You know what? I'm low key starting to understand everyone who's been exasperated by this show constantly sidelining everyone but the older Titans. I've never been against giving screen time to the older Titans and in fact I've really enjoyed learning more about them (especially last week which apparently I'm like the only one who thought so) but the problem is I keep watching Dick and all the others lie and lie and lie to Gar and Rachel and Jason and I'm getting sick of it! And on top of everything don't they think that Rachel and Gar might have been the slightest bit helpful in fighting Deathstroke cause literally only Kory and somewhat Donna are powered and having powered people is super helpful in a fight against a badass like him. I mean Rachel could have probs taken him out in three seconds! On top of that what's even the point of their costumes if everyone refuses to wear them. The older Titans all running around in street clothes and like at least Dick has kevlar otherwise they're all sitting ducks! I was thrilled though to have Kory back cause she was like the most objective having had no past with Slade and also the voice of reason. I do think that her talks with Rachel should have maybe waited for another episode or something cause the whole time I was like dude who cares about your issues right now when Jason is kidnapped. I also did low key love the fight between Gar and Rachel cause though Gar was wrong about attacking Rachel like he did and he clearly felt horrible three seconds after it happened, they're only kids and they needed a way to vent their frustration out. Jason's plight at the end was interesting cause part of me was terrified for him and worried that this might actually be the start of the Death in the Family story but another part of me was like there's no way he dies right?

Next week looks like we'll be switching gears from what's happening here and moving back to Connor and Krypto after they escaped from Cadmus. I have a feeling though that even though most of the episode will be sort of a flashback or a flash-sideways, by the end of the episode, Connor will be in the same place as the Titans in order to save Jason. The helicopter that appeared at the end will probs be Luthor looking for Connor after he runs away and thus combine Connor's story with the Titans as we all know that Connor will be joining the team at some point.

xoxo Allie
