The Olympics are over and the Arrowverse is finally back so let's dive into tonight's episode!
I did enjoy the episode overall but it did bring back the one thing I dislike about The Flash and that's douchebag Barry. I was really hoping we'd seen the end of that Barry last season but it seems every time something doesn't go Barry's way, he reverts and it's kind of funny but I never noticed it until tonight but the way he reverts is similar to Harry and how Harry throws a tantrum every time he makes a mistake. I wonder if it's supposed to be a parallel.... Anyway Barry managed to treat Izzy as an object all episode and still ended up losing. I do feel bad for him in that he didn't get his job back which kind of didn't make sense but also did cause normally I'd be all who cares about conspiracy theories but the fact that it's true kind of diminishes how irritated I'd be and left me mostly amused by the situation.
Izzy was super fun and I'm really sad we lost her. Every time I end up liking one of the bus metas, they get killed off and tonight's episode brought up a problem I've noticed but ignored. If DeVoe wants all the bus metas, why is he not taking Ralph? He's had multiple opportunities and the fact that he can create some sort of weird prison around a person to prevent them from leaving should make it really easy. Like I know the real reason is cause Ralph is a main character this season and the show can't kill him yet but I would like an in show reason for why the DeVoes are waiting.
Speaking of, DeVoe is getting more and more insane as the weeks pass by and it makes me wonder if his wife's theory that all this jumping around from body to body is actually hurting his brain function is true cause it would make sense. Before he jumped bodies the first time, DeVoe seemed more rational and grey while now he's leaning more towards insane villain. It would have been a fun twist if somehow DeVoe was actually good and he was doing something that Barry didn't know but unfortunately even if that was the case it seems now DeVoe is just another villain which does lead to the question that we still haven't answered and that's what does DeVoe want? If he gets all the bus metas, then what? Will his brain deterioration stop? Will he take over the world? What's the endgame?
Harry and Cecile were amazing tonight and I loved how completely awkward Harry was every time he talked to Cecile but that she ended up loosening him up cause she's such a cinnamon roll that you can't help but love her. Cecile is a gift and I'm so glad she's on this show now. It was weird that we didn't see Joe all episode and without an explanation either... I guess we're also going to be seeing Jessie soon cause it seems like Harry is going to call her here soon and I really hope this disservice they did to her character will be fixed cause they made Jessie into this awful person who breaks up with her boyfriend over the phone basically and without any warning and kicks her dad out of his house/work for reasons that we don't know.
Ralph is continuing to not be the worst and hats off to whoever is writing his script now cause I no longer want to gag every time he's on screen. Cisco and Caitlin didn't do too much this episode though Cisco was holding his head at the end of the episode when Barry was telling him to hurry up figure out where DeVoe was so it made me wonder if maybe he got hurt when DeVoe pushed him out of his vibe.
Next week looks super cool and I can't wait to check it out! It's such an exciting and really unique idea for an episode and I can't wait to see what happens. I think Jessie Quick and Jay Garrick are coming back for that episode so that's fun too.
I'll see you all Thursday for my Arrow review and my Gotham midseason premiere review!

Arrow Season 6 Episode 13 Review
Omg who else called the big plot twist in tonight's episode??? Who else loved how the episode played out??
I had a feeling after last week's episode that Cayden wasn't our real Big Bad this season and that he was only a stepping stone to the real one cause there's no way that after he played a season finale move so early on that the team wouldn't capture him in the near future. After the reveal that someone on Cayden's team actually framed Oliver, I had a suspicion it was Diaz cause his comic book character was way too big to be nothing more than a henchman and it was proven true tonight. I hope this means that we'll get more of the martial arts badass from the comics and that we'll get more of an explanation about not only why Star City but also why this plan and why Cayden's son. Like wouldn't a city without a vigilante guarding it be easier to take over? And why use Cayden as a middle man? Why not just go straight for Oliver? I guess it could be that he thought that using Cayden would distract Oliver and co enough for him to make his move secretly.
Also I'm sorry but Cayden was also proved to be a thundering dumbass in tonight's episode and I'm not sure how much I liked parts of it. I did like that Diaz played him like a fiddle cause like Diaz said, Cayden thought he was the smartest man in the room and he refused to see people as more than one thing so it would make sense that he wouldn't even suspect Diaz as being anything more than muscle. I did not like however the whole Oliver being framed video cause I still can't get past the fact that Felicity and Alena knew right away it was faked but Cayden who's supposed to be this genius hacker didn't even put any research into the video? How hard would it be to look up where Oliver was or to look at the data file to see it was edited? I guess they could claim that Cayden was so distraught that he didn't care. I wasn't surprised that he ended up dead cause I saw that coming.
Anatoli is probs going to go back to Russia for now and I think he probs won't pop back up this season. I do want Anatoli as a Big Bad at some point but he'd work later on I think or maybe he's best as a recurring villain who comes to fuck shit up and then peaces out.
Oh Black Siren. I really don't know what to do with you. And did anyone else get a really creepy vibe from Quentin at the end of the episode? Like a serial killer vibe? I know you're not my Laurel but I'm going to make you be her. Shivers down my spine. I think it had to do with how the camera was positioned but if this is where we're going, I will be thrilled cause I think it would be a super interesting story (you know how little I care about Black Siren being redeemed) for Quentin and that maybe Dinah will be the one in the end to snap him out of it cause that would be poetic justice.
Speaking of Dinah, I can understand why she's so upset but that doesn't mean that I sided with her tonight. She was a bit off the rails and to be honest I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired of NTA blaming Oliver for everything. Oliver legitimately had nothing to do with Vince's death and if he had been there, who's to say that Vince wouldn't have died the exact same way? Also Rene, Oliver being there had nothing to do with why the plan was shot to dust. I need them to get the fuck out now cause I'm over NTA and their screen time and this whole storyline. I tried so hard but I just can't anymore. Oliver needs to call back his old people and let NTA do whatever the hell they want out there on their own.
William also acted like an idiot tonight when he followed Oliver into the theater where the whole thing with Cayden was happening. I knew he was going to do something terrible since he appeared in the episode but I wasn't expecting him to be this dumb! Like I get that he was scared but I never understand in tv shows and movies when someone follows the hero or whatever to help when they don't know how to fight or are told to stay back cause dudes you always end up being a liability cause the hero has to drop everything to save your ass instead of focusing on what you have to. William needs to be grounded for life after that stunt though I can really see William becoming a sidekick after tonight cause despite what Oliver will want, I can see William being like if you want to be a hero, I want to be one too so I can be by your side always. For a moment I did wonder if William might actually be killed tonight but then decided nah the show wouldn't want to make Oliver spiral like that again would they?
The next episode isn't until March unfortunately but it looks like it will be a head to head battle between OTA and NTA and honestly I hope OTA kicks their asses and as much as I would love for the episode to end with NTA disappearing from the show, I don't think the newbies are going anywhere anytime soon cause without them Oliver won't have a full time team anymore. I don't particularly understand why Arrow needs to be a team show like Legends but that's clearly what the showrunners want so...
I'll see you all Monday for my Legends of Tomorrow review!

The Flash Season 4 Episode 13 Review
Wow. I have no words for tonight's episode of the Flash. It had an awesome throw your hands up in the air moment and a holy shit I can't believe that happened all in the same episode which really shows how great the episode was. Also Wally was in the intro and man do I miss him.
So let's start with the metahuman stuff. Wolfe wanted to sell the metas with Amunet and get half the profit but Barry managed to do some crazy stuff and get everyone out. To be honest I'm not sure why Barry bothered to help the others except for Becky cause it would have been exactly like what Wolfe told the bus metas later in the episode. They would escape, cause some crime and then Flash would put them back in prison so the best option might have been to escape himself and then find proof that this was happening by outing Wolfe. I was also glad that they showed that Becky really wasn't a bad person cause she used her powers by mistake at first and then slowly didn't realize how bad they were so spending time in jail allowed her realize what she did wrong. Her standing up for Barry and being all precious was amazing.
I was really shocked that DeVoe ended up killing all of them including Wolfe and I wonder why he decided that he wanted Becky's body for multiple reasons. If he could just absorb the lifespan and powers of the bus metas, why bother hopping bodies at all? Does DeVoe need to hop bodies cause they all start to break down as he stays in them? I also wonder if maybe the reason he's targeting bus metas over all metas is that the specific type of dark matter that came out with Barry actually negates the effects of the particle accelerator dark matter. Also how is it fair that he gets to keep all the powers he sucks from the metas? That's straight up just cheating.
Did anyone else get a weird vibe from DeVoe tonight? His wife definitely thinks DeVoe has moved from superpowered person "trying to do good" to possible supervillain out for himself. He was sketchy from the first moment we saw him talk down to his wife when she had a simple question and then he got kind of upset that she wouldn't let him read her mind anymore. The love drug in her champagne was the worst though and now I'm just waiting for the episode where she turns on him and goes to help Team Flash.
Speaking of Team Flash, Ralph had some great moments this episode. Now that he's not being douchey every five seconds I'm warming up to him. I actually felt bad for him in that scene with that sketchy guy and when Ralph felt like he was going to let down the team and cause everyone to leave him again. I'm not sure we needed a Killer Frost pep talk scene but I liked the point of it. I also loved the new power Ralph got in that he can shapeshift. I was wondering if that would happen on the show cause I know Plastic Man has that power in the comics. When he pretended to be DeVoe and got Barry free from jail, I actually cheered out loud and that was my fist-pump moment of the episode. Talk about being unpredictable Team Flash! DeVoe and his wife were blindsided.
Sidebar this does lead to questions about Barry's morality. Like speeding away from the body when DeVoe was found in his apartment, lying on the stand and escaping from jail is wrong but pretending to be the dead person and lying to a judge is okay? Okay I'll go with it.
Next week looks like we find another bus meta and we didn't get a name but I wonder if she'll be Ralph's love interest based on the preview. It looks like a fun time so I can't wait!

Supergirl Season 3 Episode 13 Review
Okay I really want to give a slow clap to the writers of tonight's episode of Supergirl. There was so much that I was impressed with writing wise and so many great moments in this episode.
Let's start with the Julia/Purity stuff which was interesting because not only did it lead to our heroes realizing that the World Killers basically have two personalities but also told us the audience that it is possible to bring the human side out. It's interesting to me that the personalities the World Killers have are such good people. The way Purity explained Julia was that she needed a character to play so that she could hide until activated but it made me wonder how in control are the World Killers before they're activated and why couldn't they be activated the whole time but hide? Why is there another whole personality instead of being like a sleeper agent? This leads me to wonder if there's a way to permanently subdue the World Killer which is where I think this season is going especially given the final scene with Lena and Sam.
Speaking of Sam and Lena, Lena decided to step back into LCorp after last week and sent Sam home claiming that it was because she felt that Sam needed some time off to rest which lead to more annoying Ruby scenes which were my only real negatives with this episode. I keep waiting for the scene where Ruby finds out that her mom is Reign cause I definitely think Ruby in danger is going to be Reign's trigger to become Sam again at the end of this season. Lena kind of knows I think but I don't know if she's going to connect the dots. I'd like to imagine she will cause she's so smart and I'd love it if this storyline went to Lena figuring out a way to subdue the World Killer personality permanently in a very Luthor fashion. Maybe Caitlin needs this special cure too.
Back to Kara and Alex, Alex was all about threatening Purity into submission and to be honest she was a bit terrifying when she was trying to scare Purity so much so that I kind of would like to see more of this in the future. It's kind of always been a characteristic of Alex to toe the line whenever her family is in danger and I'd love to see the consequences if she actually did step over the line at some point. On the other hand Kara's hope while nice to see was a bit much for me personally but I can understand why Kara as a character would believe what she says. I also really liked that this whole was less about Purity/Julia and more about Alex still missing Maggie. I do love that they didn't just brush past this breakup like most shows do but I think it's about time Alex got a new love interest cause Alex deserves love!
The boys finally had something to do tonight when they went to try to fix the Legion ship. So first of all, I seriously miss Brainiac 5. I understand why he can't be in all the episodes but this episode literally felt so incomplete without him cause the team was trying to fix the ship and he would be such a major help in that case. The characters mentioned him but it would have been nice to drop a quick line explaining his absence. I did love seeing Winn gush about cars and fix the problem in the end cause I've missed having him do anything other than crack a few jokes in the DEO.
My favorite scene of this episode though has to be the one between J'onn and Mon El. Remember when I talked about excellent writing in tonight's episode? Here it was. As you know I was stressing for a while about how in the world the show was going to bring Kara and Mon El back together (cause they are endgame no ifs, ands, or, buts) without killing off Imra or making this whole thing about cheating which I despise especially since Imra was such an awesome character. Mon El was so mature about his feelings and what's going on in this scene that I believed what was happening and I felt for him. By explaining the marriage as a sort of arranged one, it does make Mon El look like less of an ass and by explaining that his love for Kara is so encompassing that it makes his love for Imra less real, Mon El and Imra can break up without anyone looking worse for the wear. I also loved the final scene with them where they acted like adults and discussed their feelings cause I'm always down for when characters are honest. I can't wait to find out what this secret Imra and Brainiac 5 are keeping from Mon El though I'd assume it has something to do with Kara dying so the Legion decided to step in.
Sidebar can we give props to how much Mon El has matured this episode let alone this season? He is a much better fighter and teammate while also being a much more honest significant other. He knows that he was an ass when he first arrived on Earth and he knows how much he's grown now. The Mon El of last season would have struggled to be honest with Imra about his feelings for Kara and he wouldn't have tried to help the people escape from the subway like he did. I loved the old Mon El for the potential I could see in him and I love the one we have now.
I didn't get to see the promo for the next episode of Supergirl though I do know we won't be back until Legends airs it's finale probably in April/May which is annoying cause I feel like this season has just ramped up. I really want to know what this Legion secret is!
Anyway I'll see you all tomorrow for my Flash review!

Agents of SHIELD Season 5 Episode 10 Review
Ahh I can't believe that we finally finished this space arc and now we have to wait a whole month to find out what happens next!!! Honestly I'm just glad we're going back to Earth cause I was getting tired of the future.
Plot twist we still have no fucking clue what destroyed the world or what SHIELD is not supposed to do. Sorry for cursing but I've had it up to here with this storyline. EVERYONE KEEPS SAYING THEY ARE STUCK IN A LOOP AND THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING BUT NO ONE WILL SAY WHAT HAPPENED. Like straight up future YoYo (who by the way I totally called as being Kasius's seer) spent like ten minutes moaning about how things won't change and not once did she say what actually destroyed the world and what they should do to stop it. How freaking hard is it to say X happened and we did Y so Z occured. Jesus. We did get a small piece of new information and that is that Coulson is dying and apparently SHIELD tries to save him but that leads to the end of the world and I'm sitting here like the actual hell does that mean? I guess at least we know what Ghost Rider told Robbie who told Coulson at the end of last season.
Man I miss Robbie. I wish he'd come back though I know he probably never will.
Mack, Flint, Fitz and Simmons spent the episode trying to build the monolith and I was laughing at how nice it was that Kasius stored the pieces of the monolith right in his common room. Flint was super badass tonight though when he destroyed all those Kree from space. That was an amazing shot and I can totally see where all the CGI budget went. I was also surprised that neither Flint or Deke ended up going back with us cause I really did expect them too! Talking about more surprises, I was thrown that we didn't get a Deke/Daisy kiss either cause it really felt like they might (with May and Coulson watching in amusement) but ultimately I'm glad they didn't though Deke ended up dying anyway. I loved the way it happened though cause it was super badass and Deke's arc went full circle in him starting out only caring for himself but ending up sacrificing his life for the team. I'll miss you Deke. You really grew on me.
Another death was Kasius's and boy was it past time. Actually pretty much all the Kree died tonight which was hilarious cause apparently the only thing keeping them in power was the fact that the humans had nothing to kill them with. Kasius literally could not have ended being more despicable to be honest and by the time he murdered future YoYo and then beat Mack to a pulp, I was foaming with hatred and I'm so glad that Jemma forced that mind rape thing into his so he could experience being a slave for a few moments before Mack killed it. Man was it satisfying.
Oh but we did also learn something about Kasius's dad which I don't know if I understood correctly. It seems as though he wanted to rule over Earth but by the time he got there the Earth was already destroyed. Or maybe he wanted to rule but they destroyed the Earth to prevent him. I'm not entirely sure. Either way I feel like it's pretty likely that we'll see Kasius's dad in the future and maybe past Kasius too.
Sidebar something happened with Fitz and Simmons that I think will affect them going forward. Jemma had a weird reaction to Fitz killing those Kree with that wire like she was stunned he would attempt something so inhumane. I was sitting here like damn Fitz that was badass and neither Flint nor Mack who's literally the moral compass of the team cared so it was interesting that Jemma had a problem especially since a scene later it was her idea to suck the Kree out of the Lighthouse into space when Flint destroyed the window with his rocks. I'm not sure that's any better but I guess it'll go back to Fitz in the Framework and possibly Jemma worrying that Fitz is too different now or something. I hope whatever it is it doesn't end with Jemma and Fitz breaking up cause I don't have the time for that drama. I have to deal with enough of the dumb relationship drama in my Arrowverse shows, leave it out of here please.
We're back on Earth when we return in a month and I can't wait to see what's going on. I wonder if we'll get a time jump as in time moved normally as SHIELD was in the future or if it'll be a bigger time jump like the Monolith moved them forward in time or if we'll come back right as they left or maybe whenever Fitz left. I also wonder if we'll get a Black Panther tie in depending on how that movie goes. I can't wait!!
I'll see you all Monday for my Supergirl review!

Arrow Season 6 Episode 12 Review
I really enjoyed tonight's episode of Arrow and even though I still think last week's episode was better, this week's episode left me with a ton of questions and a bunch of feels!
Let's start with Vincent cause he was the biggest part of this episode. I cannot believe he's dead! Last week I was so confused as to which side he was on cause as much as I wanted to believe in him, it was sketchy and I wasn't sure if he was playing a game with Cayden or not and I still was unsure this week until pretty much the end. I really thought for a second that he purposefully turned on his comm so that the team could be split again and then I thought it was weird that he didn't break out of his confinement earlier cause clearly it was really easy five seconds later. As soon as Anatoli left the room, Vincent should have been out of there. I was really surprised that he died tonight cause I was really enjoying him and his relationship with Dinah and I thought there was so much more that we could have gotten out of this which was the real shame. I still wish we could have gotten an explanation as to how Vincent's powers worked. I thought he could heal pretty much anything but I guess unlike Wolverine, he has a limit to how much of that healing power he can use? Also boy rip yourself off that pole. I know it'll hurt but it'll be better in the long run!
Sidebar, I want to give all the props to Julianna for her acting tonight cause it actually made me tear up when she cried for Vincent to wake up. Ugh and then her final scene with Oliver gave me chills!
I also enjoyed the flashbacks with Vincent and Dinah cause I love when the shows remind us that the Arrowverse is in one universe. It was so fun to see Captain Singh and the CCPD for a few minutes. I do wish we had seen a little bit more of the two of them undercover but I understand that time was limited.
On the other hand, I'm still not enjoying this two team thing and how every single week we need to hear over and over and over that Rene, Dinah and Curtis are not okay with Oliver and how they don't want to be one team and blah blah blah. Guys we ALL get it. The more they harp on it, the more they just sound like whiny babies. I do however think they made the right call in splitting the teams up into saving Vincent and finding the bombs. I can see both sides and though ultimately I'd like to say that the city is more important than one person, if that one person is someone you love, it's not so easy to turn away from them. Like Dinah said if it was Felicity or Lyla, Oliver and Diggle would make the exact same call.
Like I said I want to be mad that our team lost the bomb to Cayden's crew because they were low on manpower but I can't cause this was just a case of Cayden being really smart and playing our people. The only way to fix this is for Oliver to call in more people to be honest. Thea NEEDS to suit up and I know Roy is coming back soonish but also they should maybe look for Ragman or Nyssa or Slade. The more the merrier cause the bad guys just so vastly outnumber us.
On the note of Cayden, we finally were able to figure out what the evidence was that showed Oliver killing Cayden's son and honestly it seems really sketchy to me that someone as smart as Cayden would fall for something like this if it's so clearly obvious that it's not real. Like not only can Cayden hack into cameras and stuff to know that Oliver was in Hub City during the murder of his son but also (and much easier) if Felicity and Alana can tell that the footage was doctored, why couldn't Cayden?? This is the man that knew ARGUS was coming into the city (even though I call bull on that cause how the hell would he have known.) We also learned that the same person who leaked the footage of Oliver being the Green Arrow did this and if I remember correctly, Anatoli said he didn't do it so if it wasn't him or Vigilante or Cayden, by process of elimination it has to be Richard Dragon no? I don't think Black Siren has any hacking experience so I don't know if I'd believe it was her but at the same time Dragon didn't know or care about Oliver a year ago so maybe it was Anatoli and he just lied before? I would have liked it to have been Prometheus as a final middle finger to Oliver and that's what I thought it was until we were told Cayden has another traitor in his midst.
Oh I almost forgot about the Quentin, Thea and Black Siren thing. As I said before I really don't like this cause it really feels as though Quentin is trying to replace Laurel with Black Siren and I said over and over that just cause they look alike doesn't mean that they're the same person. I do still think the show will redeem Black Siren (even after killing Vincent) so I just have to bite the bullet. It was really sweet what Quentin did with showing Black Siren a bunch of memories of Laurel and their family.
Next week looks like Dinah will be going off the rails and on a murder spree and I'm pumped cause I love with Dinah and Black Siren face off. I also assume that we'll finally be able to get the bomb off the streets cause I'm definitely feeling like Cayden isn't the Big Bad this season after tonight's episode. Someone is pulling Cayden's strings and I can't wait to find out who that is. (How fun would it be if it was Joey Wilson?)
Tune in tomorrow for my Agents of SHIELD review!
