So here's what I'm watching this week! Of course the list is split by country and episodes I've seen so far are written below! There will be spoilers from now on so if you aren't caught to the episode number on list, you might want to go watch that episode and then come back! KDRAMA

Abyss (8/16): Go Se Yeon was a tough, accomplished, and an unrivaled beautiful female prosecutor who worked in the Seoul District public Office but gets into a fatal accident and dies. However, due to the mysterious magical marble—Abyss—Go Se Yeon is revived, but now in a totally different appearance. Go Se Yeon now possesses a common appearance based off of how “good” her spirit was in her previous life. Cha Min was the highly intelligent heir to Korea’s top cosmetics company but was also a smart, humble, and a kind-hearted man. Although he has both the brains and an astounding amount of wealth, he considers himself unattractive and is insecure about his looks. Like Go Se Yeon, Cha Min gets into an accident and dies. Due to the mysterious magical marble—Abyss—he comes back to life with a different appearance as an exceedingly handsome man just as bright as his spirit he had in his previous life. Go Se Yeon and Cha Min begin to work as a lawyer and an administrator at a private law firm and decide to investigate the magical incident. Romance blooms in the office as the two intertwine together to accept their same fate.

Okay so I'm starting to understand a bit more about what this show is about. It's starting to feel a lot like The Ghost Detective in that our heroes are constantly several steps behind the villain and though I still don't entirely know why either Bo Young or Hyo Seop chose this show, I guess I just have to accept the show for what it is. It's not breaking any walls or making me excited to watch every episode but it's not boring me either. I'm really glad all the secrets are out now so that we can actually make plans and get things done. The real Mi Do is back and she's on board alongside Dong Cheol and I kind of find it hilarious that both were like okay cool so you came back to life cool. I figured Dong Cheol probs should have been more pissed at Se Yeon for lying to him but then again she didn't really do anything except call him oppa and he kind of just fell anyway. I'm also glad everyone knows about Hee Jin and that she's basically been forced to be on our side too but I'm still waiting on Ji Wook who's connection to Young Cheol is still vague though I'm still betting on him being Hee Jin's older brother but the only thing that makes me question that is the fact that she can't recognize his face. It's really strange that Ji Wook is so actively helping Young Cheol and not sort of blackmailed into it like I first expected. I also loved that Min and Se Yeon finally hooked up this week cause even if I feel like it's a little fast and a large part of me wonders if Se Yeon is only down for it cause of Hyo Seop's beyond gorgeous face, another part of me recognizes that she's always had a thing for Min and she's only starting to realize it now.
Angel's Last Mission: Love (8/32): People just fall in love and devote their lives for love. Sometimes, they take the other one’s life away for their love. A cold-hearted woman meets an immature angel and they get to confront unexpected tragedy and crucial moment. Lee Yeon Seo is a cynical and arrogant ballerina. She becomes the heiress because of her parent’s sudden death. She doesn’t believe anyone since there are a lot of people around her who want her inherited money. Her distrust and arrogance make herself unable to love. She becomes the best ballerina, but she gets into an accident and has to give up her dream. Kim Dan is a mischievous angel. When he ends his duty as an angel on the earth, he gets to cause trouble and has only one last chance to overcome his critical situation to be extinct. And that last chance is to be a Cupid for Yeon Seo, but he despairs that he has to look after such an arrogant Yeon Seo.

I was really looking forward to this show airing cause I adored both the main leads and after checking out the first 8 episodes, I have to say this show reminds me a lot of That Winter The Wind Blows which was a drama that started out pretty strong and ended with me furious and the show making no sense. So far this drama seems incredible so here's hoping it stays that way! Yeon Seo is a fascinating character cause she has been placed into the worst circumstances at the start and she uses anger as a weapon to keep others at bay including Secretary Jo who was the only person who cared for her. I can totally see why she has trouble trusting anyone cause it's clear that her entire family is evil. Her aunt, uncle and older cousin want money and power and Ni Na wants to be the lead ballerina. I wouldn't be shocked to find out that they all planned her accident cause they ruined any and all chances she had to get a cornea replacement and they even messed with her car hoping to kill her for good. Ni Na is interesting cause so far she seems like a good person who only wants Yeon Seo to do well but I have a feeling like the Black Swan in Swan Lake she will fall to darkness especially given that she likes Kang Woo but he seems to be interested in Yeon Seo. But let's be honest now, the real reason I'm watching this show is L and the beauty that is his every action and movement in the show. How can you not fall head over heels for Dan as the happy lighthearted and silly angel that he is? I assume that by the end of this show Dan and Yeon Seo will fall in love and that Dan will choose to stay here on Earth with her cause obviously Heaven can make angels human if they want. It's fascinating that the two have already kissed and it's so early in the season! Maybe they were best friends as children and then he died and lost his memories? I was also super curious about who Kang Woo was cause at first we're supposed to think that he's Yeon Seo's rib (aka soulmate) and that might still be true tbh but we also learned that he's not human either. I think maybe he and Yeon Seo were in love in another life and somehow after he died and became an angel, he fell from Heaven and now he wants to be with Yeon Seo all over again. His angel wings seemed darker then Dan's and he has a revenge murder board up which makes me think he's not a good person. From the beginning I got creepy vibes from him and I'm kinda glad it panned out this way cause my instincts weren't wrong!
FINISHED Her Private Life (16/16): A romantic comedy about a talented gallery curator named Sung Duk Mi, who is an idol fangirl underneath her professional veneer. Meanwhile, her boss Ryan becomes a passionate fanboy of her. Sung Duk Mi lives a double life as both a gallery curator and a home master for a fansite about Si An, an idol group member. She’s a pro in both aspects of her life, and because of her fangirl dedication, Duk Mi has had to break up with several boyfriends, deciding instead to go all in for her fangirl activities instead of dating. Ryan is a new director at the gallery where Duk Mi works. Once a painter, Ryan was a sensation in the art world from his debut to his retirement, and is now seeing career success as a director. An individualist through and through, Ryan comes to find out about Duk Mi’s double life.

You can't see me right now but I was FLAILING after these last two episodes. I wasn't worried per say last week when I saw Deok Mi and Ryan's childhood being connected cause the writers for this drama have been absolute perfection in taking drama cliches and turning them on their head because they write Deok Mi and Ryan as adult humans. I loved that he found out and asked for clarification from Eun Gi before going to Deok Mi and then her mom. I loved that Deok Mi didn't breakup with Ryan out of guilt and they talked about what each wanted. All of his birthday gifts to her were so sweet from setting up a private lunch with Si An knowing how much Deok Mi loved him to painting her a lovely picture now that he can again. It was also super sweet seeing the moms talk and bond and honestly they all make such a cute huge family. I was also glad that Ryan ended up going back to New York as an artist cause I totally figured that once he got his artistry back he'd want to paint again even if he liked being a director in Korea. It was pretty convenient that Deok Mi also got a job in New York so they could go together but like always she was the perfect girlfriend cause she convinced Ryan to return when he was feeling insecure. That's honestly the best part of this show cause these two really and truly care about the wellbeing of their significant other and unlike a lot of other shows they do this by actually talking rather than going behind each other's backs. I also found it hilarious that Eun Gi and Cindy ended up together though tbh if they were going to do that, they should have set it up in more than just two scenes cause we all like the characters thought he was going to get with the artist friend! I really am going to miss this incredible show and for sure one hundred percent I will be paying attention to anything these writers do in the future. I'd definitely give this show a 10 / 10!
My Absolute Boyfriend (12/40): Da Da, is a woman who works as a special effects make-up artist but has a very cold-heart. She then, unexpectedly, falls in love with Yeong Goo, a humanoid robot programmed to be a perfect boyfriend. Yeong Goo begins to develop human emotions, and they end up in a love triangle with her famous actor childhood friend, Ma Wang Joon, who also falls for her.

Help this show is so cute that I can't stand it. I watch this show perpetually going awwww. I think what makes it so sweet and what makes me love it so much is the fact that it's not real which makes my love for this show so different than my love for other dramas. Like everything Yeong Goo does melts my heart and like of course no one expects a boyfriend to act the way he does but there's just something so heart warming about it cause it's a pure fantasy and honestly I don't care that it's not real! Da Da needs to get all the props for holding on in the face of this. I'm just sad that this show might end with her giving up Yeong Goo and going back to Wang Joon. Now this isn't a bad thing cause this show might straight up be the only show I've ever watched that makes me root for both the male lead and the second male lead. Like part of me still feels that vicious joy when he sees Da Da happy with another guy but most of me thought his relationship with Da Da was pretty damn romantic and it breaks my heart that he was literally about to propose the night they broke up only to back off because of those death threats. I mean yeah he probs should have told Da Da the truth instead of breaking up but still! I think the fact that Da Da explains that despite loving Wang Joon for so long she was sad and lonely for much of it helps me keep from wanting them together more. I think a large part of why they lasted seven years is cause Da Da was too comfortable cause if your boyfriend makes you feel lonely, it's not worth being together! I'm not really thrilled with the whole thing that Yeong Goo is going to be Wang Joon's manager but I guess it'll give us some new funny moments?
The Secret Life Of My Secretary (16/32): Do Min Ik is an intelligent man and the executive of a leading telecommunications company who always relies on his secretary, the loyal Jung Gal Hee. When Jung Gal Hee gets fired from her job she winds up assuming a double life as a famous movie industry figure, Veronica Park, after Do Min Ik gets into an accident that leaves him with face blindness (prosopagnosia).

We're now about halfway through this drama and I'm still loving everything we get with Gal Hee and Min Ik but the whole pretending to be Veronica thing is in the back of my mind every time something cute happens like I've got a popcorn kernel stuck in the back of my throat. Before we dive into what happened this week can we first take a moment to appreciate the scene where Min Ik was putting on stockings and then he and Gal Hee had their hilarious back and forth in the office? I was dying! Now onto the episodes. The first wasn't so bad but the second made me fast forward through the whole thing cause damn was I uncomfortable by the whole dating scenario! She was basically catfishing him and it creeped me the hell out no matter what her actual intentions are. I kept screaming at her to tell him the truth or break up with him and never appear as Veronica Park again. It got even worse cause they made out in the end and like the kiss was great and everything but I felt so awkward cause he's over there thinking he's kissing someone else! And Dae Joo caught them but Gal Hee never explained what was happening so like he's just like running around thinking Min Ik is a moron or something? I did like that short burst of jealously Min Ik had during the sauna extravaganza cause I still think he's always liked Gal Hee but never known it. I'm back on board the Dae Joo is probably not a bad guy train after this week and I bet the uncle is embezzling money which is what was on that file but Dae Joo's secretary is doing some sketch stuff too though I'd bet it's not against Min Ik and Dae Joo but the uncle as well.

     CDRAMA

FINISHED Detective L (24/24): Shanghai in 30s: An intriguing crime case emerges amidst the bustling city. A beautiful new graduate of police academy, Qin Xiaoman, joins the investigation unit. The famous detective Luo Fei becomes her colleague and neighbor.

Well shit the show just ended on a huge cliffhanger! I had wondered for a bit how it would end up wrapping up since I really did think Captain was the Big Bad after all the attention he was given throughout but like we were almost at the show's end and nothing was happening with him. This was both a good and bad thing cause I really wasn't all that interested in Captain in the the first place but at the same time I felt like wrapping up the show without a Big Bad might feel weird. Now that I have finished this show, I kind of like where we ended up going and I think the show is definitely left on a cliffhanger but like I haven't heard anything about a second season so I'm not sure if this is a case of writers hoping for the best cause otherwise it feels like we just got to the climax of the story and we're stopping here. The last case was kinda sucky cause we were introduced to a new character and we're supposed to believe that Luo Fei and this guy are good friends but like since we just met him, I have no attachment to him and honestly it felt like I skipped an episode which is why when the twist happened and it turns out that Dr Huo was in fact trying to take over Captain's syndicate, I was super down. The final shot of Captain smirking though does bring me back to confusion like is he or is he not faking his dementia?? I also thought we were left without an answer on Xiao Man and Luo Fei's relationship cause it's clear they both like each other but we didn't so much as get a confession unless you count everyone else around them knowing. I really do hope we get a 2nd season cause this one definitely deserves a larger episode count unlike a ton of other cdramas! I'd give it a 8 / 10!
Hello Debate Opponent (11/30): Freshman Bai Yu studies Culture Industry Management at Yingli University. He mistakenly attends the new member selection meeting of the debate club and ends up joining the club together with Yi Xiao Xi and others. Final-year student Gao Ting Ting, who dreams of winning the national University Debate Championship, now puts all her hopes on the new team. But the teacher in charge wants to give their practice room away, and in order to keep the room, Ting Ting’s team has to place first in the university’s own debate contest. Will their team of rookies with clashing personalities be able to achieve it?

This wasn't a drama that was super high up on my list of airing dramas to check out but I noticed earlier this week that 11 episodes of this show were subbed and I was kinda in the mood for a cdrama set in college so I was like why not? Overall I do think this is a pretty fun drama and it definitely caught my attention and held it from the first episode. I loved the characters we were introduced to and the friendships we made but I especially adored the relationship between Bai Yu and Xiao Xi. I loved that Xiao Xi wasn't a doormat of a character and could stand up for herself when she needed to and a lot of that has to do with how disappointed I've been with the other cdrama female leads I've been watching right now. She's smart but kind and also able to admit when she was wrong. Her back-and-forth with Bai Yu is also fascinating cause they started out as enemies but like in a playful kind of way where they argued but also felt bad when the other felt bad. I kind of find it hilarious that they are both already into each other even though it's still in the early stages so neither have really said anything or fought their feelings yet. I love that they spend so much time together bonding and their super cute rooftop cat hangout is precious cause even when they didn't like each other that much, they still liked to spend time together. I also like the idea of the world being set around debate competitions cause though I don't always follow the logic of the debates, I think it's a unique approach to this show so I'm super down. I'm just a little worried about the subbing schedule so this show might pop up sporadically on my weekly dramas based on whether or not it was subbed that week.
La Coup de Foudre (30/35): Zhao Qiao Yi and Yan Mo are classmates in high school. One is a bad student and the other a top student. Although they don’t seem to have anything in common, they make a promise on the day before graduation to go study abroad together. But due to an unforeseen incident in Qiao Yi’s family, she can’t keep the promise and the two lose contact. Four years later, they meet again at their first class reunion. Qiao Yi finally admits her own feelings and decides to move to where Yan Mo lives in order to pursue him, but has to discover that there is already someone by his side. Yan Mo, though, secretly does a lot of things for Qiao Yi. While nobody can rival him when it comes to studying or working, he is unable to express his feelings. Will the two find together in the end?

It's really very awkward that I'm much more interested in Wu Yi's relationship with Guan Chao than I am with the main couple of this show. Idk I think I lost interest weeks ago when neither Mo nor Qiao Yi would step up and admit their feelings and I'm really not a fan of how Mo kind of tramples over Qiao Yi this week. Like instead of having a conversation like normal humans about how he wants Qiao Yi to stay in his house, he waits until she's drunk to publicly out them as a couple to their coworkers and her brother even though he knows very clearly that she didn't want that just to force her to continue staying. His acts of jealously aren't cute either and I'm sick to death of his one facial expression. It's not good acting cause he never emotes! I do think their kisses are cute though but having one every eight episodes isn't that helpful. Guan Chao on the other hand is kind of an idiot isn't he? Wu Yi has been in love with him for ages and ages and even after the pregnancy scare he still didn't realize his feelings. It wasn't until she was dating some other guy that he finally realized how he felt. They're so cute though and I was living for all their moments this week including when Wu Yi's mom caught them and took him to dinner. Honestly though if I were Wu Yi I would be terrified to date him cause it's like you know how short of an attention span he seems to have with girls so like I would be constantly worried that I was smothering him with affection but also if I back off will he find that affection elsewhere? It also doesn't help that he doesn't want to get married! Both couples broke up for silly reasons this week tbh but it was all worth it seeing all the girls drunk dial their exes just to curse at them.
DROPPED My True Friend (17/48): New to the world of real estate, Cheng Zhen Zhen is an enthusiastic rookie agent determined to become the very best in her field. Joining the ranks of a local real estate agency, Love and Family, as an entry-level associate, Zhen Zhen is soon paired with another low-level rookie, Shao Peng Cheng. The only child of the company’s president, Peng Cheng has decided to keep his true identity as secret as he attempts to climb the ranks of the company, in an ongoing effort to prove his worth.Together Zhen Zhen and Peng Cheng set out to make their dreams come true, neither one of the realizing just how personal the world of real estate can be. Diving into the wide world of home buying and selling, Zhen Zhen and Peng Cheng soon find themselves caught up in the swirling emotions that come with home ownership. Sharing in the joys and sorrows of their client’s lives, while facing trials of their own, Zhen Zhen and Peng Cheng come to learn several valuable lessons about life, love, what it really takes to make dreams come true.

I was pretty excited to check out this drama originally cause after falling in love with Deng Lun in Because of Meeting You, I was disappointed by his next two dramas so I hoped that this one would bring me joy again and while at first I was really enjoying myself, the show then took a turn that made me uncomfortable to watch. I had though that Deng Lun was the male lead and maybe he still could be but we spent like 17 episodes watching Peng Cheng fall for Zhen Zhen while she and Jing Ran fell in love. I don't know if eventually Zhen Zhen switches guys and picks Peng Cheng but either way I don't like the idea that Peng Cheng is being a homewrecker in this situation. Most cdramas seem to want to follow a trend of having the female lead be interested in another guy before the male lead but I've never seen them actually get together from the start of their relationship before. It makes me uncomfy and I really don't particularly like Jing Ran cause I was watching this show for Deng Lun so I don't feel like continuing on with something I don't enjoy. It sucks cause I'm always super down when shows have unique settings and I've definitely never seen one set around real estate so it was a fun experience. I loved all the characters of the agency and I loved how Peng Cheng was technically the young master of the company but he was working from the bottom up so there was no power plays going on. He was smart as a whip but rebelling against his father due to personal issues which I liked better than male leads who just are incompetent. Maybe in the future I'll come back to this show once it ends but as of now I don't think I'll be continuing it.
My Youth (8/24): Su Can Can loves learning about literary works. In her adolescence, she meets her best friends. Xu Mei Li is lively and cheerful, Lan Tian Ye is handsome and uninhibited, Lin Jia Ze is gentle and refined, Tao Ya Ting is beautiful and melancholic. In their journey, they have many little secrets and many worries. Whether in high school or in college, Su Can Can has collected many unforgettable memories. When she turned 28, she looks around and realizes that the people with her when she was 18 are still the same people around her now.

Cdramas set around school are always touch-and-go for me cause sometimes I end up adoring them and their simple messages but other times I get so bored. I was also a bit hesitant to check this one out cause I don't think the subbing schedule is constant so like Hello Debate Opponent this show might not pop up every week. Despite that I liked Li Jia Qi in Meteor Garden and Zhao Yi Qin in Accidentally In Love so I was curious to see what they would bring to this drama. So far I'm really loving it. All the characters are really fun and I adore the main leads and their cute banter. I've found that my favorite couples are the ones that play fight without any heat behind it. It was beyond hilarious how everyone including Tianye thought that Can Can was in love with him and I was really enjoying that dynamic so it sucked a little when Can Can told Tianye that she actually liked Jiaze. I really want to shout out Yi Qin for his incredible acting in this scene cause you could see the exact moment that his heart shattered. Despite her crushing on Jiaze, Can Can spends all her time with Tianye and I'm pretty sure she likes him already but doesn't know it which is sweet. The only thing I wonder is that if this show goes across 10 years of these characters' lives then our couple can't get together yet right and that's unfortunate cause I'd hate to watch them go through constant misunderstandings like on La Coup. I kind of hope our whole cast ends up at the same college too cause college era shows are my favorite!
The Brightest Star In The Sky (33/44): As singer-songwriter C-POP star, Huang Zitao plays a role of a recalcitrant idol who debuted and become famous since he was young. He deeply likes music and keeps persistent, that is similar with Huang Zi Tao. This time Yang Zhen Zhen is a newbie manager who just starts the work. Being a newbie staff, she faces various obstacles but she never gives up her music dreams.

We didn't get too many episodes this week so not too much happened. We're still in the beginning stages of Baixu and Zhen Zhen's romance but also in the middle of Baixu's vocal nodes problem. I totally and completely expected what happened with his father to happen cause for a while he's been sketch and I totally thought that he might just pay a doctor outright to like destroy Baixu's vocal cords so he can never sing again so the fact that his evil plan was just to keep Baixu in America under house arrest wasn't the worst. It was really sad seeing how hurt and terrified Baixu was after finding that out and of course part of that is leading to his father now seeing Zhen Zhen as an obstacle in his way. I knew that we'd eventually get there cause what is a drama without a disapproving rich parent and I hate it of course but at this point I just look the other way. The romance feels a bit stalled on the other hand cause Zhen Zhen seems to be of the mind that despite Biaxu confessing to her and their makeout that he's still not into her or that he's using her to make someone else jealous and I'm sitting here like you complete moron. It did make me super uncomfortable when Zi Rui and Yuan had their whole thing cause not only were both super drunk but he was furious that Zhen Zhen didn't come and she sort of attacked him and I couldn't decide who was being assaulted in this scenario. Zi Rui is looking more and more insane as weeks go by and I keep waiting for him to snap.
Unexpected (8/24): A manga artist, He Jie has entered into his own manga “Crystal Love” and he must complete the mission of saving the evil second female lead, turning her into a better person before he can return back to the real world. He ended up having to keep on filling up the loopholes of his own manga again and again, forming a funny lovestory.

Guess who's the idiot who started ANOTHER drama with a sketchy subbing schedule? If you guessed me, pray for me honestly cause I really should use my brain more! I wanted to check this drama out about forever and a day ago so when I saw that some of it was subbed, I couldn't control myself anymore and here we are with me head over heels in love with this show and scared that I'll never see more of it! Was there really any doubt that I would adore this drama after how much I adored W: Two Worlds? Both these shows are very similar in story concept but while W was more of a thriller, this one is beautifully cute and romantic love story. I adored the main couple from the first moment they appeared on screen and I love the idea that He Jie has to save Zi Xing from her poor fate before he can get free. Of course this makes me sad that this show might not have a happy ending but from how upbeat and positive it is, I have hope that maybe we'll be able to. I also love that as the show goes on He Jie learns more and more about why he wasn't the best writer in the first place and it's kind of sad that Zi Xing was both a place to put his anger and also a reflection of himself. The friendship between He Jie and Gong Cheng is super cute as well and I love how He Jie is inadvertently changing literally everything without meaning to. His appearance showed Cheng Cheng how unhappy he was playing the role he was given from birth and I'm fascinated by the nuance in this lighthearted show.

What Shows Am I Watching This Week?

Hello everyone and welcome back! Let's dive right in shall we?

FINISHED Game Of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6

I have honestly no words for what I just watched and the levels of disappointment I'm feeling. The first half of the finale had me on a bit of a high with some of my predictions coming true only to have the second half make no sense and for me to die a little. I suppose if the goal of Game of Thrones was to steadily decrease it's quality until we're just aching for it to be over and for our misery to end, then it accomplished it's goal! Jon Jon Jon. I really and truly expected more from him as a character cause I really and truly thought he were playing the long game and that his lack of a spine had to do with his fear of Dany and being burnt alive but instead it turned out that yes he did betray the North and yes he did purposefully ignore all of Dany's warning signs cause he was in love. This goes against literally everything the Starks were fighting for since season 1 and I thought that Sansa telling him to be smarter than Robb and Ned meant something but instead Jon made the same exact mistakes they did and somehow ended up surviving when they died only due to what I'm assuming was plot armor. God I miss Robb. So much for the lone wolf dies but the pack survives huh cause Jon gave zero shits about his family all season. The fact that the Lannisters had more familial moments together than the Starks who's motto is basically family first is ridiculous!!! I also HATED that Bran is now King of the 6 Kingdoms cause seriously what part of him deserves it? He'd make a terrible king with how little he cares about anything and we saw that a little later that he'd be nothing more than a puppet king to his council who'd actually do the day-to-day ruling! And then let's not even talk about how he can't have children so like we're going to have peace for his reign and then another war to pick the next ruler??? Ugh. Even Dany's death felt a little anticlimactic. Arya going exploring makes sense but I still don't love it cause I hate that after 7 seasons of the Starks trying to get back to each other, they all just ended up in different parts of the world. I mean good for Sansa for being named Queen but like she's all alone and being queen is never what she wanted! She's wanted nothing more than her family to be safe for seasons. And then Jon seriously ended up north of the Wall in the end? Part of me is like good suffer you asshole but then the rest of me is like what the hell was the point of his whole arc then? Why did they go through all the pain of killing him and resurrecting him to get him away from the Wall if he was going to end up there anyway???? Overall I think this finale took a big swing and missed by miles and honestly I'm just glad it's over.

FINISHED Legends of Tomorrow Season 4 Episode 16

I really went into this finale ready to hate it cause like I've hated the idea of Heyworld since it appeared a few episodes ago but tbh it ended up being not as terrible as I expected it to be which I suppose is a perfect example of a backhanded compliment. Neron's plan as it turns out had nothing to with the Eyes app and really that made no sense because if the point was to get everyone scared and then open up a portal to hell so that the demons could rule on Earth, why build the app at all? I also really liked that Heyworld ended up not actually working the way that the Legends intended cause I've always thought Heyworld was a smidge too far in this world even if last season we had a giant Bebo. I also really liked just how useful Constantine was cause like without him the Legends would have been super screwed and I really liked that Nate ended up dying only to come back to life with the help of Tabitha's giant wand and tbh it totally tracked for me that if fear could power her wand, love could too especially since the Fairy Godmother was supposed to be a force for good originally. It was actually really heartbreaking that Zari disappeared and was replaced by her brother in the team and that everyone forgot but I'm sure this isn't the last we see of her. I expect Nate to somehow remember next season and then go searching for her cause we spent so long getting to know Zari not her brother and it's she who deserves to be on the team. The small cameo from the Monitor was hilarious too cause he just appeared just to give the Legends his best judgmental look and I loved that moment when Sara and Nate and Gary were pretending to be the Trinity and when asked why they couldn't get the real Trinity to help, they were like we skipped the crossover so they weren't really down to help us and I died.

    The 100 Season 6 Episode 4

Sooo who else called it that the Primes are probs not good people? The more interesting part is that the Children of Gabriel don't seem to be good either but I suppose in relation to the Primes who forced Clarke to become Josephine, they probs aren't that terrible. I bet though like every other group of people there are some extremists like the ones who wanted to kill Rose and then some less extreme like the guy that was trying to help Octavia. I'm still so curious about the backstory of this world and how they figured out how to transfer consciousness from one body to another though I have a feeling it's similar to how the Flame is passed from one commander to another since Nightblood is needed for both. I want to know why the other faction hates it so much cause like of course from our crew's POV it's terrible since you know consent and everything but the people of Sanctum clearly consent to this Naming Ceremony stuff. I wonder if it just has to do with Gabriel falling in love with a Prime host and then being furious when he lost that person to a previous reincarnation. I'm getting a little sick of Raven and some of the others constantly attacking Clarke and Octavia about what they did cause it's like yeah that stuff they did wasn't great but also everyone would make a similar choice if they had to and like can't we all just move on? Maybe that's sociopathic on my part but like look at Octavia and Dioza deciding to team up despite what happened last season and letting bygones be bygones. I can't imagine that Josephine will be able to pretend to be Clarke long enough to fool our crew long term and I assume it'll be either Bellamy or Abby or Madi that will figure it out cause there's no way Josephine will be able to fool those who love Clarke most.

The promo for next week was really short but it showed Josephine being told to pretend to be Clarke so that our crew wouldn't find out what's really going on in Sanctum and I'm sitting here like good luck with that. I also wonder why they're so scared of our crew cause it seems like Sanctum's people aren't good fighters but they know this land and have paralytics and stuff and clearly outnumber us.

Agents Of SHIELD Season 6 Episode 3

I HATE THIS SHOW SO MUCH! Why would it think that's it's okay to do this to me???? Just when I got all excited that Jemma and Daisy were in the same place as Fitz and Enoch, the show takes Fitz away!!! I don't entirely understand what's going on in terms of the Chronicons cause the head hunter said something about how Fitz is out of time with the whole dying thing but I assume it has something to do with paradoxes. If the current Fitz decides to live out his days in the current timeline, then he would never have gone to the future and if he never went to the future, then our SHIELD agents would never have come back to the present to create this paradox. Then again the hunter Chronicons didn't seem like they were all that friendly and honestly I felt like they were down to kill Fitz instead which begs the question that if there are no paradoxal problems, why not just let Fitz go? Despite this, I super enjoyed this episode cause it was so different than most SHIELD episodes. I mean Daisy and Jemma get high and bond while Fitz and Enoch go gambling after which Enoch has an existential breakdown making him feel like such a moodTM. Have I mentioned again how much I love that Enoch's around again this season? Now that he's been excommunicated from his planet and people, we can bring him to Earth. Not only is he hilarious (inadvertently) but he's smart and able to help us Earthlings navigate the larger universe. I really find this storyline much more interesting than whatever is happening down on Earth and part of that is cause I understand more of what our characters want here while Sarge and his whole crew haven't explained their plans yet so it's like meh.

The promo for next week seems to indicate that we're returning to Earth which is hilarious cause I just talked about how much more I enjoyed being in space... At least now Fitz and Enoch know Jemma and the crew are back in present time and Jemma and Enoch and Daisy know that Fitz is alive and with a Chronicon. I assume that they'll be trying to get to whatever planet Chronicons are from. I also hope that we get a bit more about what Sarge wants and what in the world he could want with Deke who by the way yay Deke! I wonder if they are after time displaced people like the Chronicons cause other than that Deke is pretty much all human. He's not even an inhuman.

    Fruits Basket (2019) Season 1 Episode 8

It was the New Year's episode this week and overall I felt like most of the episode was fairly boring. The Sohmas were all headed back to the estate for the holiday though Yuki and Kyo weren't thrilled and Tohru decided to be alone and sad cause it was the first New Years without her mother. This is where Tohru's major flaw pops up in her inability to be selfish cause though it makes sense that she couldn't go to the Sohma New Years celebration as it was obviously closed to non-family, I'm sure Uo or Hana would have loved to have her at their house. I suppose she turned both down partially for plot reasons and for that scene where Yuki and Kyo came back for her. It's a little strange that Kyo even bothered going originally cause he's not a zodiac member and when they were describing the festivities, he wasn't allowed to go to the banquet so like why not stay home? Yuki however is for some reason Akito's favorite and I'm curious as to why that is. I'm sure the consequences for his neglect to come home for the holiday will have a price later and most likely Tohru will be paying it cause of Akito's jealously. We did meet a new zodiac character though not by name or animal form so we don't know who it is yet unless you've seen the original or read the manga.

Next week looks like it'll be the school race and the actual introduction of Hatsuharu!

What Dramas Am I Watching This Week?

So here's what I'm watching this week! Of course the list is split by country and episodes I've seen so far are written below! There will be spoilers from now on so if you aren't caught to the episode number on list, you might want to go watch that episode and then come back! If you're interested in previous lists, click here and if you want to see a list of my favorite asian OTPs and ships, click here!

    KDRAMA

Abyss (6/16): Go Se Yeon was a tough, accomplished, and an unrivaled beautiful female prosecutor who worked in the Seoul District public Office but gets into a fatal accident and dies.

Ha what a smart cookie Se Yeon is! I was wondering how the Abyss would bring back Min and I assumed that the smartest method would be to sneak Young Cheol into a room with Min and let the Abyss do it's thing and that's exactly what happened. It was sad to see how distraught Se Yeon was when she thought Min died and I still believe she's been low-key in love with him for a while and the only reason she never knew it was cause he wasn't attractive before. I was living for her watching Min do work on the phone and the heart eyes she was shooting him cause girl I was feeling the exact same especially when he showed up in the board meeting and schooled everyone while looking so hot. I also know it's like supposed to be a big deal that Young Cheol has the Abyss but like it only sucks that he has it cause in case one our people die again then we can't bring them back otherwise it sucks more for Young Cheol who can't even murder correctly anymore cause his victims keep coming back to life. I also don't entirely understand how he's that much of a threat anymore cause he's straight up in jail now so like even the fact that Hee Jin seems to still be working with him is strange. I really dislike her cause she's still acting like a spoiled child and like yeah part of me feels for her since we learned that Hee Jin is Young Cheol's daughter and that Ji Wook is probs her older brother but like the rest of me is like ugh she's the worst. And honestly this just makes Ji Wook look even worse as a person. He seriously cares more about his father than Se Yeon who was his best friend cause he's doing everything to cover up her death but like clearly didn't care when Hee Jin was in danger or on the news! We were also hinted at that maybe he actually showed up while Young Cheol was killing her and like let it go. I really want to know what this tie he has to him cause you would think that a child of an abusive parent would want him to get what he deserves.
Her Private Life (14/16): A romantic comedy about a talented gallery curator named Sung Duk Mi, who is an idol fangirl underneath her professional veneer.

Can we talk about what an angel Deok Mi is? She's literally like the best girlfriend cause she knows exactly when to push Ryan and when to back off. It's honestly so refreshing cause like both Ryan and Deok Mi act like real adults in this show unlike most dramas where the leads throw tantrums and hide things and lie as if they've never existed in the real world before. I was living for when he pretended to be angry with Deok Mi cause she didn't tell him about her birthday or when they were caught sleeping together at the gallery or when she helped him draw again. They are the absolute cutest! My heart was also crying right alongside Ryan as he figured out that Si An's mother was his mother and that she didn't abandon him but only lost him for a little while after she got into an accident. Part of me still blames her cause like seriously what kind of mom leaves their young child at a park without any adult supervision? That's how kidnappings happen! I don't love the idea that Deok Mi's mom is involved in Ryan's trauma but I feel like with only two episodes left it won't be as big a deal as I'm afraid it would be especially since in a show like this, Deok Mi might try to pull away in guilt but hopefully Ryan won't let her. It feels as though Ryan was taken to Deok Mi's house for a while after his mom never came but Deok Mi's parents had to take him to an orphanage later probs due to money problems cause I think Deok Mi mentioned they had some trouble early on. That would explain the crying child memory and the adult who pushed him away claiming that she wasn't his mother. Cindy is also such a cutie and I find myself adoring her more every week which is so funny since I really didn't like her at first.
My Absolute Boyfriend (8/40): Da Da, is a woman who works as a special effects make-up artist but has a very cold-heart.

Ugh this show is so cute that I want to ignore all the instincts telling me that the show won't have a happy ending cause I mean Da Da is literally about to fall in love with a robot! Yeong Goo is literally the sweetest and I love the story that this show is telling because Yeong Goo and Da Da are about to have the most romantic love story ever since he is literally made to be a good person and I can't wait until human emotions start welling up in him. Shows like these really make me wonder philosophically if it's okay for her to love him cause of course she would fall for someone that would put her happiness first but it's not truly his own choice yet. Despite this I'm living for their amazing chemistry and the way she snaps at him only for him to see her real meaning under the anger. The poor thing is trying his absolute hardest to do well for her and as time passes, he's understanding more and more about what the right thing to do is for her. I'm also low key living for how jealous Wang Joon is at seeing Da Da with someone else but at the same time I low key ship her with him too cause their love story was also really sweet. We finally figured out why he broke up with her and it turns out that some fan found out about their relationship and that person is threatening to hurt or kill Da Da which is why Wang Joon broke up with her. Having said that, I still don't agree with the way he treated her in the past especially with calling her a stalker so I'm not all against his pain.
The Secret Life Of My Secretary (12/32): Do Min Ik is an intelligent man and the executive of a leading telecommunications company who always relies on his secretary, the loyal Jung Gal Hee. When Jung Gal Hee gets fired from her job she winds up assuming a double life as a famous movie industry figure, Veronica Park, after Do Min Ik gets into an accident that leaves him with face blindness (prosopagnosia).

So I originally wanted to check this drama out when it first aired back a few weeks ago and I really did adore it at first but then I realized what the synopsis meant about Gal Hee being Veronica Park too and suddenly I wasn't so down. I really don't like when secrets are kept in dramas between the main leads and at first I was thrilled that Min Ik told Gal Hee about his face blindness cause it gave them an us against the world vibe but then I realized what an asshole Gal Hee was for pretending to be Veronica on a date just to get back at Min Ik. Stuff like this only could happen in a drama cause seriously I cannot imagine any scenario in which I would use someone else's illness to my advantage no matter how much I hated them! And like let's say the first time isn't a big deal but then Gal Hee pretends to be Veronica a second AND a third time! I know it was cause she didn't want to be mean but seriously this was worse! It's going to majorly suck when Min Ik finds out cause like he said he already has trouble trusting people and the fact that he's finally reaching out again and she's lying to him will break him. Despite this I do adore Gal Hee and Min Ik as characters cause I love that she's so sassy and he's not a cold male lead despite everything he's been through. They have amazing chemistry together and I just love their banter! I also think that Min Ik is into Gal Hee like she is into him but just doesn't know it. The only reason he's into "Veronica" is cause she was kind to him like Gal Hee is normally and he's just not viewing Gal Hee as a woman yet but eventually it'll hit him like a truck and I can't wait! I'm not super interested in the boardroom politics but I am curious about what Dae Joo's deal is and whether or not he's on Min Ik's side cause it seemed like he sent the hitman after him but then also seemed shocked when he realized that Min Ik got hurt. His secretary Eul Wang is even sketchier though and I wouldn't be surprised if in fact it was her behind everything.

       CDRAMA

Detective L (18/24): Shanghai in 30s: An intriguing crime case emerges amidst the bustling city. A beautiful new graduate of police academy, Qin Xiaoman, joins the investigation unit. The famous detective Luo Fei becomes her colleague and neighbor.

I really enjoyed the twist we got this week where the victim turned out to be the killer and it was crazy cause I seriously did not suspect her at all though I totally should have given that the name for this case was The Black Widow which are always females! It was also really interesting to see that we didn't end up catching the mother of the Black Widow who originally did the killings years ago but we as the audience know who she is though Luo Fei and Xiao Man don't making me wonder if this will be a storyline we'll be returning to. The killer made a weird reference to Luo Fei regretting not following through on the deal he made with her but like she's about to be killed through the death penalty so like unless she has someone else set up to do something, her threat is a bit meaningless and that brings me back to her mom who maybe will do a revenge killing? I did like that Xiao Man ended up caught this week cause it made the case personal but it was disappointing to see that Luo Fei wasn't much torn up about it even if he was distraught when he found her. I'm still waiting for a bit more of an overt romantic moment between the two cause we're coming up on the finale soon enough and though the two are into each other, it's mostly just hinted at and it would be unfortunate if we don't end the show with even just a confession! Also we still haven't got anything on the Captain who I thought was the Big Bad!
La Coup de Foudre (24/35): Zhao Qiao Yi and Yan Mo are classmates in high school.

Qiao Yi and Mo are finally together this week and honestly I wish I cared more but I lost interest in this show weeks ago tbh and like I probs should drop it but I also kind of want to see this through to the end mostly because I'm more interested in the second couple Wu Yi and Guan Chao. I also really could not care less about the workplace drama that's happening and whether or not someone stole Mo's tech. I do think it's sweet that the second female lead and Mo's nephew might be getting together soon cause he's always been super sweet and we all want him to be happy. My favorite moment this week was when Guan Chao and Mo thought that Qiao Yi was pregnant and they liked stormed the castle to interrogate her but of course I also liked the hilarity at the hot pot restaurant where Mo realized that he had a complete meltdown years ago because of a dog and not Qiao Yi getting a real boyfriend. Of course their kiss was great too but it's honestly taken so long and I was so tired of neither one admitting their feelings for one another that I was fairly checked out of the whole thing. Wu Yi's pregnancy also came and went really fast which was super hilarious but it sucks that she seems to be lying to Guan Chao about being pregnant cause she likes the attention he's giving to her. Once again this is such a drama thing cause in real life, I would have sat that man down until he understood that I wasn't trying to lie about not being pregnant to get him out of it but because I really wasn't pregnant. I can't imagine that when the truth comes out that Guan Chao will be THAT pissed cause this show seems to pass through problems lightly but I'm sure there will be some anger and hopefully she says something before he tells his parents cause that's a more awkward thing to walk back!
FINISHED My Amazing Boyfriend Season 1 (28/28): Mutant Xue Ling Qiao, who has been asleep for centuries, is awakened by the unlucky actress Tian Jing Zhi in a car accident. He then forces his way into living at her house despite his mysterious past. On the surface, she acts like she’s not bothered by his super powers, but actually, she tries her best to get rid of this “monster.” Unexpectedly, their torment of each other gradually warms their relationship. This not only illuminates their romantic feelings but also reveals a shocking conspiracy that spans centuries.

It's kind of funny looking at the list of cdramas I watched this week and seriously 3/4 of them are Janice Wu dramas and that's hilarious. I was wondering if perhaps I didn't like her as an actress as much as I thought I did after being disappointed by The Brightest Star and La Coup but after watching this one and really enjoying her in it, I think that it's not that I dislike Janice but I dislike her characters. I also decided to split up season 1 and 2 of this show due to how the actors are different in the second making it feel like a whole new show. Like I said I really enjoyed this drama cause I'm always super down with sci-fi fantasy romance shows and it reminded me a bit of A Korean Odyssey in that the supernatural male lead was basically forced into protecting the human female lead and as time passed, they fell in love. Ling Qiao was a bit too close to the type of cold male lead that I dislike but at the same time it worked for me cause being immortal and all it made sense that he was afraid to allow himself to love her. I also adored Jing Zhi as a character cause I loved how in love with herself she was and how confident in her affection for him she was. There was no dancing around the subject and their kisses were all super cute. I also really liked the villain being Shi Guang and the show totally fooled me in thinking that maybe it was his cousin and not him being the Big Bad. The friends and supporting cast were all great as well and I actually did enjoy the ending of this season though I wonder if Jing Zhi is now immortal too or if she only has the ability not to get hurt cause of the baby. I would love if it was the first option cause it's too sad thinking that these two will have to separate in the end. Overall I'd give this show a 7.5 / 10!
The Brightest Star In The Sky (31/44): As singer-songwriter C-POP star, Huang Zitao plays a role of a recalcitrant idol who debuted and become famous since he was young. He deeply likes music and keeps persistent, that is similar with Huang Zi Tao. This time Yang Zhen Zhen is a newbie manager who just starts the work. Being a newbie staff, she faces various obstacles but she never gives up her music dreams.

So last week I definitely really talked shit about this show cause of how angry I got on behalf of poor Baixu and this week I have the same problems of course but that's nothing new so let's not talk about that for too long. It never ceases to amuse me that Baixu will sing a song on the show and everyone will be like well doesn't he suck blah blah blah and I'm over here like dude this man is an angel with a beautiful voice how dare you! Anyway Baixu and Zhen Zhen are finally together and like I expected Zhen Zhen is afraid to even let Baixu put his arm around her. Ugh. I do feel like part of this is cause she's afraid to believe that he truly loves her with him being famous and especially after what happened with Zi Rui rejecting her. It was a straight up heartbreaking when she wished that he would love her more than she would love him and tbh I think that might already true. He's honestly so precious with how he loves her cause he's like a kid with how he goes about it. I want to see more of this please and less music industry stuff cause I've started to skip everything with the bosses as it just makes me angry. I do also love that Zi Rui realized that Zhen Zhen is into Baixu now (I'm a low key terrible person) cause I'm still annoyed with him turning Zhen Zhen down for his music career and thinking that she'll still wait around for him like a puppy. I definitely think that he's going to end up doing something slightly evil, something like going through Zhen Zhen's laptop and finding out about Baixu's throat and then leaking the news to the press. I also have a feeling that after Baixu gets his surgery, he'll end up a better singer than before rather than losing his singing ability cause the poor guy is already at rock bottom so where else can he go but up?

What Shows Am I Watching This Week?

Hello everyone and welcome back! Let's dive right in shall we?

Game Of Thrones Season 8 Episode 5

Holy hell amirite guys? This episode did absolutely nothing to fix any of the problems I have had with this season or the writing of this show but it does showcase the one thing that Game of Thrones does well and that's battle scenes. My heart was in my throat for the entire hour we spent attacking Kings Landing. Can I just say, Dark Dany came true and that has been my prediction for where the show was going to take her ever since Dany was in Meereen. I do like the arc that she took and I have to say that it was probably one of the best arcs to take a hero into a villain I have pretty much ever seen on tv. Dany has always been a fascinating character cause she started out in pretty much the same position as every woman in this show but she found her strength in her dragons and while at first they made her feel safe, after a while they started to make her feel powerful and without them she was nothing. I also really want to give props to Emilia on her acting cause it was amazing watching her sad softness around Jon harden the second he admitted he couldn't love her the way she wanted anymore and she realized that she had lost everyone who cared about her (except for Grey Worm but he's more of just looking for revenge than anything else.) The sudden snap Dany took as she watched Kings Landing surrender but decided to burn them all anyway was horrifying and seriously if Jon or Tyrion are on Dany's side next week I will be furious. We spent so much time in the streets watching how terrified the innocent people were and how she was burning them and killing them and all I could think was what a monster. Sidebar I wasn't thrilled with the Northern Army suddenly going insane and murdering and raping civilians either but at least Jon was trying to stop it and was just as horrified. I was also really really afraid that Arya might die at some point but thank goodness she made it out. My only complaint with this whole thing was that the deaths of Jaime and Cersei felt kinda vague and like I know in real life there's no way they could have survived the Red Keep falling on their heads but this is a tv show and deaths aren't real until we see bodies. Also so much for the prophecy Cersei was so afraid of!

Our kill count adds Varys, Euron, Hound, Mountain, Qyburn, and I think Jaimie and Cersei to the list. Next week is the finale and I'll be interested to see how it ends. After this week I can't see Dany on the throne so I except some sort of murder plot and I'd like it to be by Jon's hand as I predicted but who knows anymore. I also predicted that the Iron Throne would be no more and that the 7 Kingdoms would become 7 again but I have a stronger feeling that Jon will sit on it through the foreshadowing we keep getting.

FINISHED Arrow Season 7 Episode 22

Anyone else sobbing their damn eyes out at the end of this episode? No? Just me? Well I'm honestly so torn about what I just experienced because I've known for a while that I would hate how Arrow seemed to end due to the flash forwards. I hate the idea that of all the characters and of all the Arrowverse shows that it had to be Oliver and Arrow that could not end on a happy note because we literally spent 7 seasons falling in love with Oliver and Felicity and this world. This show literally began the Arrowverse because without Arrow being a hit, none of the Arrowverse or DC shows on CW would have made it so it seems horrid to me that it would be the only one where the characters couldn't ride off into the sunset. Up to the last second I still had hope that maybe just maybe we'd do something to change the future and in the back of my mind I still have that hope that maybe it still can be changed. As I assumed Oliver's disappearance had something to do with the Crisis and because of that I'm hoping that maybe just maybe the writers will change the ending and save Oliver instead! I did like the idea that Felicity went to wherever Oliver ended up after she made sure their kids were okay cause it's so bittersweet. It was also interesting cause I guess if the whole 8th season is about Crisis and setting up for Crisis, then it kind of works that Emily Bett Rickards is not coming back but we could also do Arrow without Oliver or Felicity cause their goodbye to Star City and the bunker felt very final especially with all the emphasis on how Team Arrow can protect the city just as well as Oliver. We also lost Emiko who did an about face in the weirdest way and we saw Laurel and Curtis and Brick returning which was a nice way to tie up loose ends. Honestly I probs will watch next season cause I'm a completist but I have a sad feeling it'll remind me of the final season of Once Upon A Time more than anything.

Legends of Tomorrow Season 4 Episode 15

What a crazy fun episode in which I loved every moment! It's nice to be back to really enjoying this show and I'm definitely glad I watched it after Arrow cause it definitely cheered me up a bit after I sobbed my eyes out over there. The Gary storyline had to be my favorite mostly cause of how completely insane it was. He got the Fairy Godmother on his side and seemed to have lost his evil nipple after Mona bit it off but he was still angry with the Legends and Ava so he attempted to torture them in his own fun way, after of course wishing for a third nipple. I completely understand Gary's anger with being treated as a punchline but I've always thought the best part of Gary was how he was the butt of the joke so I kind of hope that we don't get rid of it in the future! I also loved that Tabitha's big plan was to have her Fairy Godmother powers given to Nora by tricking her and what a smart plan tbh but also all they have to do is give her to Ray after all this is over and Nora can still live a normal life with the addition of extra cool powers now. Zari and Charlie's storyline was the least interesting but that doesn't mean that it still wasn't good though I don't love that the dragon egg hatched with baby Zari cause I really wanted it to imprint on adult Zari or Nate! I also completely understand why Constantine chose Astra over Ray cause how could he not want to save the little girl he accidentally sent to hell? Now that Nora's going down there I'm sure she'll help.

The promo for next week looks just as ridiculous as expected and I still hate the idea of Heyworld but I get it in the overall theme of things. I don't entirely understand why we can't get the Time Bureau agents to mind wipe everyone who saw the creatures at the press conference and have Ray tell the public that the whole press conference was a joke but I guess it's funnier this way so why not.

FINISHED The Flash Season 5 Episode 22

It's interesting that both the Arrow and the Flash finale this week ended up having similar ways of ending in that the season long Big Bad was defeated earlier in the episode and then the rest focused on other stuff, in Flash's case that was Eobard. None of that to say that I didn't like what I watched cause I actually really enjoyed this finale of Flash and the way it ended. I had always wondered how Nora would have existed if the timeline was changed the way it was cause with her return to the past, she moved the Crisis up to next year which means that if Barry had disappeared then Iris would have to be pregnant right now so I expected in the back of my mind to end the season with Iris being pregnant. I low key blame Barry and Nora for the heartbreak I had to go through over on Arrow cause without them, Oliver wouldn't have to make the tough choices he did but that's enough on that cause this is my Flash review not Arrow. I probs should have been sadder about Nora's disappearance from the timeline but tbh I never really liked Nora that much so I wasn't really sad but I liked how Barry and Iris dealt with their pain afterwards and how she chose to disappear rather than become evil like Eobard just to save herself. We also removed Grace!Cicada from the timeline and woke up little Grace who really is tragic cause she's waking up to find out that a future version of her killed the last family she had and all because little Grace allowed herself to stew in her anger. Joe was promoted to Captain of the CCPD and Captain Singh was awesome for being like of course I know you're the Flash Barry. Cisco also took the cure which makes me wonder if he'll be in the next season or not or if it was just Carlos Valdes who was like I'd rather stand around Star Labs like Iris then be out in costume in the field like Willa Holland on Arrow wanted.

      The 100 Season 6 Episode 3

I'm really enjoying this new world we're in even if it's super confusing and I don't entirely understand what's going on. As I assumed last week, it seems as though Sanctum's people have somehow figured out a way to transfer their conscious from body to body so every time a baby with Nightblood is born, they get one of the Prime placed into their body. Maybe it's something similar to the chip that the Commanders had and that Madi has right now. There also seems to be another group outside of Sanctum that seems to want to kill the Primes and while at first I assumed that they will be our villains, I'm starting to think that the Sanctum people will probably end up being our Big Bads since they're not as welcoming as they wanted our crew to believe. For some reason they think violence is a disease and that anyone who carries the gene needs to be removed from Sanctum and seriously what lame logic cause if everyone's just chilling in Sanctum, what need is there for violence anyway? There's no war or lack of resources or anything that would require fighting. I'm sure with the reveal that Clarke has Nightblood, she'll be targeted by the Sanctum people to have a Prime put inside her which I'm assuming will end up leading to the war against them. Honestly Sanctum is so outmatched and the only reason that our crew might not make it just because we don't know this world yet. I'm also trying to think back about whether or not there's anyone left on the mothership cause the leaders of Sanctum said that we can't bring anymore down but I think most of our main characters are down here. I'm also super curious about this other faction but the fact that Octavia is with them right now will probably help us figure that out.

The promo for next week was a bit hard to understand cause it looked like flashes of people in random places with Octavia's voiceover. If I had to guess, I'd say Octavia and Dioza will meet up and try to escape from whatever faction they got caught in and it'll be fun cause these two hate each other. I also assume that the new guy might end up being a new love interest for Octavia cause her meeting with him was similar to her meeting with Lincoln back in season 1.

FINISHED Riverdale Season 3 Episode 22

As per my response after pretty much every Riverdale episode, I'm sitting here like the actual hell did I just watch. It's kind of hilarious cause I feel like this episode was basically taking everything the audience complained about for these past two seasons and were like okay so you don't like how insane we've taken the show and want to return to season 1 status quo, okay we've got you. I'm sort of in the middle when it comes to this show cause I do miss the high school drama that this show has season 1 but I also enjoy the mystery when it feels more realistic. We've got our crazy story over on Sabrina so let's allow Riverdale to be a bit more grounded. I also know that the final scene that took place in spring break of senior year was to hint at a possible Jughead death and though part of me could see Cole Sprouse being the only one of the core four to want to leave Riverdale cause he is the biggest star of the group, I can't imagine that they would kill him off cause not only are he and Betty the most loved characters on the show but he's dating Lili and if he left the show, it'd be harder to spend time together. But enough about that, let's talk about what happened tonight. It turned out that the Gargoyle King was actually Chic and that he was working with Hal and Penelope to destroy the town and now Hal is dead and Chic is in jail I think but Penelope is still on the loose. I liked this a lot cause it ties everything together in a nice knot and makes sense in hindsight. It also turns out that Alice was working the FBI to take down The Farm which honestly feels like more of a retcon than what actually was happening in order to fix Alice's character. I do like the idea that Charles is alive though cause of course a teen drama wouldn't get rid of such a juicy storyline even if it makes Betty and Jughead dating a bit weird now that they share a half-sibling.

Agents Of SHIELD Season 6 Episode 2

Is it any surprise that I really enjoyed this week's episode? After all it was a Fitz centric one and I'm super down for those. It was interesting seeing that Fitz is returning a bit more to his pre-Framework mindset and personality rather than the Fitz from last season who would do anything and everything to get from point A to point B. I wonder if that has to do with the fact that the audience prefers that Fitz cause story wise season 6 Fitz should be the same as season 5 Fitz cause he didn't go through any of the season 5 moments but honestly I don't mind it cause I also prefer the pre-Framework Fitz. I really liked that we saw Enoch again after he died last season and that he and Fitz are working to get back to cryo-sleep cause these poor souls don't know that everyone is back in present time. I assume that they're headed to the same place that Jemma and Daisy were last week though now Fitz will have to make a pit stop elsewhere in order to get the engineers he saved to safety. Hopefully we don't have a ships passing in the night scenario with Fitz and Jemma! Over on Earth, we still don't know what Sarge and his crew are up to or who they are though now it seems like they are jumping from world to world in order to destroy it but there must be more to that. I think we were told though that this crew is jumping through different dimensions rather than being aliens like I first assumed they were. I also assumed that maybe this crew is some sort of species that takes over dead bodies like Hive did which is why Sarge has Coulson's face and seems to remember the name Coulson but then we saw that weird video at the end of the episode and suddenly I'm not so sure anymore!

The promo seems to show that Daisy and Jemma did end up in the same place that Fitz did so yay possible reunion next week??? It also looks like Enoch and Fitz will be attempting to gamble for something (possibly the cryo-pod?) and I can't wait to see what happens!

      Fruits Basket (2019) Season 1 Episode 7

You know for some reason Hatori never really clicked for me back in the original version and he still doesn't here. Like my brain clearly understands that his backstory is sad and I want to feel for him but my heart's just like sucks dude. Maybe it's cause I never really understood why Kana had to have her memories erased or why she blamed herself for his eye getting hurt. Like it was pretty clear to me that it was all Akito's fault for overreacting when Hatori told him about wanting to get married and it seems silly to me that Kana would be so heartbroken over this when it should have just strengthened her resolve to love him. It's also ridiculous that Hatori never blamed Akito for anything and blamed himself and his curse for it instead cause Kana clearly had no problem with Hatori being the dragon of the zodiac so it wasn't that! Sidebar but Hatori literally has the worst transformation cause at least the other zodiacs can move around in their forms. I did love the animation in this episode though cause the original never really showed us how sweeping the Sohma estate is and there's definitely like hundreds of Sohmas in this family isn't there? I'm still really curious about why Akito clearly hates it when anyone in the zodiac is happy and why if he was so pissed that Hatori had Kana then why is he okay with Tohru living with the Sohmas? I mean clearly there's a plan in place especially with the evil glare Akito gave Tohru as he drove by.

I'm not sure what next week's episode could be. I can't remember which zodiac appears next though I'm thinking it might be Hatsuharu?

      xoxo Allie
