What Shows Am I Watching This Week?

Hello everyone and welcome back! We're a bit light this week but in a few weeks all our Winter 2020 shows will be back so it'll get more intense! Anyway, let's dive right in shall we?

Welcome To Demon School Iruma-Kun Episode 14

Damn what a plot twist! Just when I thought that the Battler Iruma chose was going to be boring, low-and-behold we find out that Kiriwo despite seeming like the Demon version of Iruma is actually working with Baal the demon from last week who got Sullivan arrested by the Demon Border Patrol for going into the human world. I have a feeling that most of what Kiriwo said was true though and that because he was so alone and unloved that when Baal gave him the smallest amount of attention, he jumped at it and now does whatever he says. For some reason Baal wants to destroy Babyls but the real question is whether or not Kiriwo or Baal know that Iruma is a human cause I have no doubt that Babyls will ultimately be fine but Iruma's secret getting out makes sense in terms of plot development. At the very least the other teachers at Babyls seem to know that something isn't right and I wonder if Baal attacking the school will be the help Sullivan needs to be released cause if the head of the Demon Patrol thinks that Baal did all this to attack Babyls then his so-called proof of Sullivan's misconduct doesn't look so clean anymore does it? I do low key find it hilarious that all this stuff is going on behind the scenes and poor Iruma is over here worried about fireworks for a school festival.

ID: Invaded Episode 1 & 2

It's the start of the Winter 2020 anime season so I'm watching all sorts of new shows and so I'm attempting to check out any and all anime that sound even the slightest bit interesting and to my surprise not only was I high key impressed with this anime but I was really into it! This anime reminds me a lot of Psycho Pass tbh in it's emphasis on the mind of killers and measuring their intent to kill and the fact that one of our main characters is a killer himself like the enforcers over in Psycho Pass. From what I can gather in this world killers give off this killing intent that is measured by a Wakumusubi and can have their mind-scape be a well where other killers can walk and study them but all this isn't well known to the public. Our main character Sakaido was a cop at one point but his daughter died and he must have killed her killer which made him not only a criminal but also able to walk in mind wells. I'm assuming that Momoki was his partner back then based on their interactions with each other and Kaeru is an image of Sakaido's daughter which super sucks more than I can say cause it's like he has to see his daughter die over and over again! I also have a feeling that John Walker (who seems to be the main serial killer this anime will hunt down) might also be the real killer of Sakaido's daughter cause there's practically no way we have this juicy backstory for our main lead and not have him face it on screen. We have a fairly large cast for this show so I wonder how many we'll actually follow or get to know.

Harley Quinn Season 1 Episode 7

I know I scream this into the void every week but this show is everything and just like when I was watching Doom Patrol I will never not be shocked at how far it'll go! This week's episode was all about the Queen Of Fables being released from her tax book and how Harley got her out cause she thought of her as a friend even though Ivy told her that the Queen was much more evil than Harley could have expected and it was high key hilarious to watch what happened cause you know everyone was so shocked at how harsh the Queen was but I'm sitting here like I'm sure you all didn't care much for innocents either at some point! The real mission I suppose was continuing to get Harley into the Legion and this week she decided to steal a weather machine from Kord which apparently a bunch of the Legion Of Doom members including Joker tried to do but couldn't and it was just her luck honestly that she managed to grab it but didn't realize it was password protected and therefore self destructed. As a side thing I low key loved the Ivy and Kiteman thing where Ivy struggled to admit that she wanted to be with Kiteman cause she was embarrassed but in the end she decided to embrace it and like good for her!
