What the Spell by Brittany Geragotelis Review

Hey all! So I just recently finished reading a book called "What the Spell" by Brittany Geragotelis. The book revolves around a sixteen year old girl named Brooklyn. Here's the synopsis: 

Almost-sixteen-year-old Brooklyn feels invisible, but she desperately wants to be pretty, to be popular, to be adored by a cute guy. Luckily for her, she’s a witch about to come of age—so she’s only a few spells away from making it all happen. On her milestone birthday, Brooklyn’s conservative parents finally unbind her powers. This newfound freedom leads to a spell-assisted makeover, entree into the cool clique, and the attention of her longtime crush, Asher. Even better, Brooklyn discovers her true power: the ability to magically match couples with a love spell. But Brooklyn’s quest for popularity is not without its price. As the clique escalates their initiation tests and she relies on her powers to complete the tasks, Brooklyn finds herself in the same precarious position as her Salem ancestors: if she’s found out, she could be vilified—and lose Asher in the process. Can she make the most of her magic, or will she be luckless and loveless? Be careful what you witch for!

So I was hoping this book would be really good because I have a special place in my heart for witches. The plot was iffy because I didn't care for Brooklyn doing a makeover on herself but I hoped more of the book revolved around witches and casting spells. But instead I got a book about a girl who completely changes her appearance and spends the entire book chasing popularity which is overrated. There will be spoilers below so leave now if you haven't read this book!!! 

Okay so I understand the whole makeover thing because plenty of girls do this but she didn't just change her hair color or get new clothes. She literally gave herself a new body complete with new eye color, hair color, boobs, butt and curves. On top of completely becoming a different person, her parents didn't even care. They just told her some story about the Salem Witch Trials and told her not to overuse her powers. Fine I can roll with that. But no one in the school questioned her changes? I mean I know Brooklyn wasn't really noticed but wouldn't the teachers notice or care? 

Then came The Elite aka the popular kids. The entire time I was sitting there rolling my eyes. How was it not completely obvious that they were just using her? And then she was dumb enough to do magic in front of them. Like hello? Didn't you remember ANYTHING your parents warned you about? And the book ends without Brooklyn even trying to fix it. I was expecting her to do a spell to get Gigi's phone and erase the video or something but nope. She just carries on like nothing changed.

Asher and Abby and their parents were probably the only thing I enjoyed about this book. I liked learning about them and their home. The romance was not great for me. It pissed me off that she used magic to make Asher fall for her. I understand the concept but I still don't approve. The entire book Brooklyn kept hiding things from him and there really was no spark that I could see. And when he leaves, she's not really heartbroken like I expected. In fact she barely mentions him when she's talking about how she's going to run the school now. I am curious though about where the entire family went. I feel like either they are the descendants from the Parris line or they were caught doing magic and are in trouble. 

Apparently there are two more books in this series but the main character changes. I'll probably read the next one and if I like the main character then I'll stick with this series otherwise I won't continue. I was disappointed with this book and I'd probably give it 2 stars out of 5. Believe it or not, I have read worse books.... Anyway so those are my thoughts!! Hope you enjoyed them!

New Summer Shows - The Night Shift and Chasing Life

Well I promised you this and here it is! New summer shows that I've watched.

Okay so the first new show I've checked out is The Night Shift on NBC! I had seen a trailer for the show and I thought why the hell not? My summer tv schedule is always slow so I like to try out shows that I normally wouldn't. So NBC here I came! And honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. The show is funny, interesting and has great characters. There's even a romance I'm rooting for!! I really enjoy the medical parts of the show and I love how the medical parts are all different in each episode and not at all boring stuff like the flu! I could list all the characters I love but honestly that would be all of them. Landry and Krista are two that I am indifferent to. Krista is too much of a mean-girl and stuck-up for me to love but Landry is just there. She really doesn't have anything interesting about her except for the fact that she's sleeping with TC. I will definitely continue watching the show and here's hoping that it gets season 2!!! (Yes even this early)

And the final new show I have watched is Chasing Life on ABC Family! I saw a lot of trailers leading up to the premiere of this show and honestly I was not interested. The idea of a girl having cancer was interesting but something about the show just didn't catch my attention. Then I watched Pretty Little Liars and when the show ended this one aired. I thought why the hell not? I have nothing better to do so I watched the first episode and then the second one. I have to saw I do enjoy the show. I mean it's nowhere near my favorite but I have seen worse. April is an interesting character and I like her family and friends as well as the plot. The only thing I don't like is the romance with Dominic... I'm not sure why. He's sweet and all but he didn't really catch my attention. Leo however definitely did and I really hope there's more to be shown of him!! I will continue watching!!

And so that's the two new shows that I've watched. I will also check out the Musketeers on BBC America and Young and Hungry on ABC Family when they air! Also on my summer schedule is The Fosters season 2, Teen Wolf season 4, Pretty Little Liars season 5, Witches of East End season 2 and Defiance season 2! Thoughts on Teen Wolf and Game of Thrones

Hello all! So I'm back today with two new shows that I've just finished binge-watching!!

So the first show I watched was Teen Wolf. Now I was hesitant to watch this show because it looked kind of silly to me at first glance but a lot of people that I knew loved shows like Arrow or OUAT also liked Teen Wolf. Color me surprised. I decided to check it out to see if I could find out what all these people liked and I suppose I found it. Season 1 was extremely hard to get through and season 2 was just as bad. But as season 3 rolled around, it got much better. The characters were more interesting and the plot got darker which made it better. My biggest problem with the first two seasons was the Scott and Allison romance. I like both characters on their own but for some reason I didn't like them together. I loved Stiles and his relationship with his dad. I enjoyed Allison's dad too and Derek. It annoyed me how Scott distrusted Derek for so long and how he spent much of the first two seasons trying to be normal. Overall I liked the show and I will be checking out season 4 which airs next Monday!

The second show I watched was Game of Thrones. I know I know. I should have been watching it earlier. But the thing is, it's on HBO and I never had time to sit through four seasons. But I finally bit the bullet because literally everyone watches this show and I hate not knowing what people are talking about! I definitely enjoyed it! I tried to avoid spoilers but a few snuck in here and there. I did feel like the plot dragged a little. I mean the Stark army was trying to get to King's Landing for 3 seasons. I liked Ned and Cat alright although I never had any large feelings for them. I disliked Sansa at the beginning of the show but she quickly grew on me when she was being treated so unfairly. I loved Rob but was super annoyed at him for getting married. I liked Arya and Bran from the beginning and it continued. Jon Snow I wavered on because his storyline kept going from interesting to boring and then back to interesting. I did hate Jamie in the beginning of the show but now I really do like him. Daenerys is probably another one of my favorite characters. I really liked all her storylines from Drogo to the dragons to Daario (totally shipping them now). I'm impatient to see her get back to Westros! I'm definitely going to be watching season 5!!

Thoughts on Salem, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland and Black Sails

Hello my loves! I'm finally back! So the summer has arrived and what is the best part? The time to binge-watch Netflix!!! So as of now, I've watched 3 new shows and I'm here to tell you what I thought of them!!!

Salem was the first show I watched. After watching an episode, I decided that I didn't really like the show... The premise seemed to have so much potential and a lot of the characters seemed to be interesting. Now I don't mind that the witches were evil but what I did mind was that the main character turned evil. I loved Mary and John's relationship and the idea that she's going to hurt him didn't really catch my attention.. Honestly I barely made it through the first episode. Frogs feeding off sexily placed thigh boils. A local whore house in a town that whips and brands people for fornication. The "cinnamon" servant who brought the witchcraft to the innocent heartbroken woman in the first place. It would be laughable if it wasn't so tragically horrible. Perhaps it was just too dark for me... This show has been renewed for a second season so it seems the show does have a stable fan base.

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland is the next show I watched. If you remember I tried to watch this show when it first premiered in the fall but I had trouble following it because I had never watched Once Upon a Time. Now that I've caught up and fell in love with OUAT, I figured I would try out OUAT in Wonderland and I enjoyed it!! Although I was wishy-washy on whether I liked Alice, I really liked Will and Anna and Cyrus (who was extremely good looking). I enjoyed the plot but I definitely understand why the show was cancelled. The entire show was based on finding each other and once they finally did, there were no more plot lines for the show to truly follow. It was not as good as OUAT but it was a fun little miniseries. I'm excited for Will to join OUAT next season and I hope Anna comes with him.

Black Sails was the final show I binge-watched. Now the reason I ended up watching this show was because I watched the pilot of Crossbones and when I read reviews, many people stated that Crossbones was simply a worse version of Black Sails. This made me curious because I didn't really enjoy the pilot of Crossbones which made me disappointed. I love pirates and I had seen trailers for Black Sails when it first premiered so I finally went back and watched it. Let me just say, it was EPIC! I could do without all the nudity but I loved the action and the characters. I loved how most of the show is based on drama and politics and how the first four episodes are all about character development before the action shows up. Captain Vane, Jack Rackham, Eleanor Guthrie, Anne Bonny and  Billy Bones!! Vane is my favorite and I hope that he and Eleanor get back together eventually. Anne and Jack are precious too! I can't wait until the second season!

So that's all for now but don't fret! I will definitely continue to watch other shows and tell you what I think! I'm on season 2 of Teen Wolf which will be followed by Merlin and then Elementary! I will definitely keep you posted.

Reign Season 1 Episode 18 Review

Hey hey internet!!! So I'm usually reeeeeally bad with writing reviews and I don't do them daily because I never have enough time but this week's Reign episode was so amazing and I had so many feelings, I needed to write this!! Overall loved the episode but Mary drove me crazy. It was one of the first times that I actually disliked her. She came close in the mid-season finale episode but I understood why she did what she did there. Now if you haven't seen Episode 18, spoilers ahead.

So first of all I'm going to talk about Nostradamus and Olivia. Honestly, I loved them. They had a ton of chemistry and I don't know if I believe they loved each other but I know they were close. Still don't like Nostradamus's visions but whatever haha. They seem so subjective to me and he barely interpreted them correctly so the fact that he shipped Olivia off to the "New World" made me roll my eyes. The scene with Catherine and Nostradamus was sweet in the beginning. You could tell that they were close friends (or at least they were) and Catherine doesn't want to lose him. I actually laughed when Catherine put a snake in Olivia's luggage but it led to the "break-up scene" which was sad. I thought it was sweet that Nostradamus didn't want to hold Olivia back because his visions are a curse and whatever girl is with him, will have to live with them too. I totally did not expect Olivia to leave though! I thought she would have been like, I don't care. I care about you too much to leave. I am curious to see Nostradamus's relationship with Catherine now because she made him lose his second chance at happiness.

Next up was Lola and Julian. Sigh. I seriously don't like Lola. I just can't feel sympathy for her. I try so hard but everything that's wrong with her was basically her fault. If she hadn't slept with Francis (who she knew Mary loved and hello GIRL CODE?!) then she wouldn't be pregnant and if she wasn't pregnant, then she could have married for love and not have to rush into a marriage. I totally think Julian is sketchy but sketchy in a way that seems to me that he probably gambled away his fortune and caused his parents to disown him. His main interest seems to be Lola's dowry and he got all squeamish when she asked to meet his family which is what leads me to think this. I think Lola should have outright confronted him about the necklace and the money instead of sneaking around behind his back. Honestly, that's never good for a relationship and in this time, there is no such thing as divorce so unless he cries adultery and has her killed or their marriage annulled, there is no leaving him.

Where the hell is Pepper (can't remember his name... sorry)?! I want my girl Greer to have more screen time! Honestly since Pepper is on some kind of business trip, I have a feeling that this storm is going to kill him. Then Leith will come back (you know because of the whole Henry wanting to send troops to England thing) and he may possibly have a title or be a hero in war so Greer will marry him!! I love them too much for her to marry another even though Pepper is a sweetheart.

Next up is Kenna and Bash! Their relationship is making me love Kenna again! In the beginning of this show, I loved Kenna and Henry but as the show progressed and she got all power-hungry and jealous girlfriend, I started to dislike her. This storyline really is redeeming her and they're so cute together! I loved that Bash gave her his grandmother's ring and he told her that he would always protect her. I loved that Kenna got them an estate and kept his ring even though Catherine gave her a nicer one. Kenna has never really been the first choice for anyone and I think that she really likes that Bash is there for her. They have so much chemistry between them (much more that Mary and Bash ever did) and they totally did it at the end. What I also find refreshing is their honesty. Both characters are so outright and vocal about how they feel which makes their relationship flourish (in contrast to Lola and Julian). I definitely think they will fall in love and be a power couple but I don't think that they will leave French court.

Speaking of Kenna, I loved her team-up with Catherine to get rid of Penelope. She had been pulling strings for way too long and I wanted her gone. I laughed so hard when Catherine walked into Henry's room and found him all tied up. Her facial expression was perfect! And then when he told her how he won't be demeaned by a woman and she just chuckled and was like "I can see that!!!" I died. Alan Van Spring is just such an amazing actor! You can tell how much he just loves acting crazy and those few moments where Henry seems to be focused are perfect. The scene where he was strung up and the fake bishop walked in and was disgusted was the absolute best!

Now onto the main story. Mary, Francis and their countries. So James came to visit Mary because Scotland was annoyed with all the French people in court and he wants Mary, who's lived in France all her life, to go and be a figurehead that the people can rally behind. Mary wanted to leave for Scotland right then but Francis tried to convince her to wait. He wanted to finish this deal with the Cardinal before going to Scotland together. At first Mary was down but then James convinced her that the longer they waited, the worse Scotland would be. Francis noticed that James's footman seemed to be loaded and he tortured him to find out that he was actually paid by England to kill Mary.  When he told Mary this, she didn't care and wanted to go anyway. Francis wanted to keep her safe so he locked her in a tower and convinced James to leave by telling him that they would be following soon enough.

When James first arrived, I did believe him and thought that he had Mary's interests in mind. But as the episode progressed, I got more skeptical. Why would James act so secretive and not come straight to court to ask for an audience with Mary? Why did she trust him so easily? Mary's own mother made deals behind Mary's back so what makes her so sure that James who many want to take the throne was so trustworthy. He was obviously in on the whole plan and that's why I think he was in such a hurry to travel back.

Her stubbornness bothered me so much and she was a huge hypocrite in this episode. Her biggest problem was that Francis was not putting her and Scotland first, above his country but SHE WAS DOING THE EXACT SAME THING. In last week's episode, she put Scotland first and still is, everything else be damned. Mary isn't realizing that she will be the queen of France too one day. If France fell, then she would lose their support so England would take Scotland anyway! AND Francis would die because anyone who steals the throne would have to get rid of their competition. It wasn't like Francis refused to go to Scotland ever, he just wanted to wait like two or three days. Scotland's not going to fall in that amount of time and if it did, then there's nothing Mary could have done about it anyway!

Mary telling Francis that he doesn't love Mary the Queen is utter bullshit too. He loves both. You can tell by the look on his face every time Mary shows her authority and power as a queen. He was sooo turned on in the last episode when she was talking to the Scots and you could even tell he loved her when she was screaming at him by the look on his face when he answered, "Not like a rat. Like a defiant queen." He was extremely proud of her for fighting back and it's so annoying because Francis has never asked Mary whether she loves Francis the Boy or Francis the Dauphin. It doesn't seem fair that only one person in the relationship needs to be making all the sacrifices.

And the part about taking choices away, let's be honest, this episode was just a huge parallel to episode nine, when Mary took all of Francis's power and ability to make decisions away from him to keep him safe because of the prophecy. Francis did the exact same thing in this episode but he didn't take her crown, her safety, her birthright, and her love away from her. This does not meant that locking her in the tower was the best thing to do (even though it made me laugh a little). All I'm saying is that if we're going to label Francis an ass for locking Mary in the tower, we have to label Mary as one too because she basically did the same thing, except worse, to Francis. And honestly, Francis probably is more in the clear here because he KNOWS there's a hit out on Mary compared to her believing a prophecy that he may die one day.

Sorry to have ranted so much but this Mary bothered me so much. I really hope things get smoothed over and Frary get back onto the same page. I adore Mary and I don't want to take Francis's side over her's but she's in the wrong here. I loved this episode and I'm really looking forward to the next! I really like when Reign focuses on the politics rather than the love triangle (which thankfully does not exist) or relationship drama. Here's hoping that this continues!

Turn: Washington's Spies Pilot Review

Hey guys!!! So I have been seeing commercials for this new show on AMC called Turn: Washington's Spies. Almost immediately my attention was captured because I thought a show about the American Revolutionary War was very interesting and there's not a lot of shows like that around. So I decided to give it a shot and it turned out to be pretty good! I always give a new show about 3ish episodes before I decide if I want to watch it so when the pilot is good, that's always awesome! The characters were all fairly interesting, the plot was amazing and the pilot was only slightly confusing but that's only because you needed introduction to everyone while they already know each other. The beginning was a little slow but as soon as the "spying" started it got much better! There are spoilers ahead so if you haven't watched it, I would definitely check it out and come back once your done!!

So as I said I did enjoy this show. Shows like these always make me feel super patriotic and it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. The beginning was a little slow and kind of confusing but the pacing was quickly remedied and I did eventually catch on to what happened in one of the opening scenes. 

I do like the main character, Abe. I kind of hope it doesn't take too long for him to get into the spying because his moral drama was kind of boring. His wife, Mary, seems to be a bit of a doormat. Maybe I just haven't seen enough of her but from what I gathered, there really isn't any love between the two and it's hard to tell who's side she's on as of now. Anna, the woman Abe loves but had to leave, seems  fairly interesting. She's strong and I'm predicting that she will have a bigger role in the spy ring as the show continues. It's smart for her to be a part of it because men in those times barely suspected women of being able to do something like that! Abe's father (who's name I can't remember) was also interesting. He's a loyalist and a very strong one at that! I definitely foresee trouble from him although I did like that he helped Abe get out of trouble twice!

I also liked the way that most of the Redcoats weren't portrayed as evil or selfish because of course they are the villains and it's easy to portray them as such. When a show takes the high road, it makes them more interesting because you know they're all good people that simply follow their crown and laws. The colonies aka the rebels aka the militia aka the Bluecoats (it took me a little to realize which side they were on) also have some cool people! I know I'm going to love Caleb and Ben seems awesome too. I don't think either will betray Abe but I feel like something they do might negatively affect Abe because Ben seems to be looking out for the safety of the whole and sometimes you need to do things that benefit the general public such as not killing the Captain of the army. Speaking of, he's super creepy! I thought he was from the moment we met him but the fact that he was standing in front of Anna's room while she sleeps and sneaking in there when she's out is uber-freaky! I was hoping he wouldn't go for Anna in the cellar when Abe was hiding because I knew then Abe would attack him and everyone would automatically blame him.

So the idea of spying started from the beginning of the pilot when Ben is telling the captain (or major I can't remember) that there might be a spy in their midst and he thinks they should get them too. It was funny to see Abe spying because he literally climbed through a window and knocked things over but no one noticed. I loved all of these scenes and I definitely think they're the reason why I will continue the show.

I kind of hope that there isn't too much romance because the focus of the show should be the spy ring. I don't mind if Anna and Abe have a fling, I just think the spying is more interesting... Actually I was expecting Mary to die in the pilot for some reason. Idk why. I just did. I feel like she's going to have a big part in the drama and eventually she'll find out what Abe is doing. Her reaction could go either way but I feel like she may join the spy ring in a small role (or ignore it) because as she said, neither she or Thomas (the baby) can survive without him.

I can't wait to see more of the other spies and I hope that Abe doesn't take too long to pick a side and stay with it. We ALL know that this was not a one-time thing!! So that's all! I'm definitely going back to check it out and you should too!!!

Captain America: The Winter Solider Review

Hey everyone!!! So I watched Captain America: The Winter Solider last night and let me just say OMG HOLY SHIT! My feelings were all over the place when I watched it and they still are! It was the best Marvel superhero movie I've seen! It totally bitch-slapped Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World!!! There is NO comparison. I know I know. What about the Avengers you ask. For me, this movie slides in about an inch or two higher! All of the characters are fantastic, the plot is to die for and every scene left you at the edge of your seat waiting for more!! The beginning started out a bit slow but after a little bit, the movie dove right in. I would definitely give it 5/5 stars!! This review has spoilers in it so if you haven't seen it yet, go watch it and come back.

Okay so first I'll talk about the characters! 

I already loved Black Widow but watching this movie made me love her more! She was soooo badass during the entire movie. There was a point in it that she was separated from Cap and Falcon when they were fighting Bucky and his team of evil and the first thing I thought was "Crap... Now Cap has to come save her." I'm used to the females of the movies being the damsels and the superheroes having to save them and even though I knew how awesome she was, I still totally forgot and then she was all awesome and held her own for a while. The scene in the SHIELD building when she beat up the villains and took Pierce down was so amazing. I was seriously sooo scared for her when Pierce threatened to kill her with the pin.

Falcon was super amazing too! I loved his one-liners and his costume with the wings! He held his own too and I was so proud when he stuck the chip inside the hellacarrier! His introduction to the movie was cute and I loved the ending when he chose to stick by Cap because "he's just a solider!" I fangirled so much. Fury and Maria Hill didn't have much to do other than dialogue but I love them so it's okay! I was so glad that Fury was alive because I was so pissed when he died!

Bucky aka the Winter Solider was amazing also! I loved the way he was first revealed to Cap and how seeing Steve reminded him of his past! I almost cried when he said I think I know him!! And then they memory-wiped him... Right in the feels. I loved that Bucky could hold his own with Cap and he was killer with that knife!! The ending when he pulled Cap out of the water even though he still didn't really know who Cap was was heart wrenching and the post-credit scene where he was in the Smithsonian learning about himself almost made me cry! I really hope that they continue to show us his character but I was SO RELIEVED when they didn't make him kill Cap! I was soooo not ready for that!

You all already know how much I love Cap so if you want to skip my fangirling over him, that's fine haha. OMG he was so amazing! I really love how much Cap is simply just a solider. It's my favorite thing about the character. I mean yes, he's super strong and everything but the part that makes me love him is how human he is. You can't picture Thor or Iron Man simply fighting humans because they're much more but Cap, he brings you back down to earth and shows you how you can fight basically as a normal human being. I think that's why I love him so much. The beginning was kind of slow with him begin unsure where he fits into society but the plot quickly picked up. I liked how stunned he was when he realized that Bucky was the Winter Solider and how he refused to fight him in the end. I loved all of his fight scenes and his relationships with Black Widow and Falcon. I loved that they didn't give him a love interest because he's not in the right place right now for one even though I do ship him and Black Widow (they had a lot of chemistry!!).

Honestly I loved that the side characters weren't useless. They held their own and were important members of the team. It fit perfectly with who Cap is. He's a solider. He's the man-in-charge and works best with a team. The people he hand-chooses needs to be more than accessories and they were. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much Falcon had a role in the fight scenes!

Now for the plot...

So I knew from the trailers that Bucky was the villain but I had noooo idea that SHIELD would be too! While I was sitting in the theater, all I could think about was how amazing of an idea that was. It not only linked the first Cap movie to this one but it was ingenious! The fact that Hydra snuck into the ranks of the beginnings of SHIELD was amazing! I was stunned when Sitwell was revealed to be a part of it and the reveal was EPIC! I loved how Zola was inside the computer and how he creepishly he told them about how Hydra would win. I liked how it made you second-guess every SHIELD agent and when Cap made his speech all of the straight-SHIELD agents stood up and tried to help out. When that guy said "Captain's orders," I was so proud!

This entire plot felt so much more to me because I watch the Agents of SHIELD and the show made me love this company more than I ever thought I would so all of this hit me hard!! I'm excited to see how it continues!

I was sooo upset when Fury "died" and I couldn't focus during the next scene, I was so in shock. I mean I knew in the comics, Fury eventually dies and Maria Hill takes over but I was NOT ready! The fight scenes were beautifully choreographed and there were a lot of funny one-liners. I also knew that in the comics Bucky kills Cap and then remembers who he was and becomes Cap to keep his legacy going and I thought I was okay with the idea. But then that final fight scene happened and my heart was pounding and all I could think was if Steve dies, I will not be okay... When he was shot, and then stabbed and then lost his shield and fell into the water and I was dying. I was gasping and sitting up and gripping the seat and didn't relax until Bucky pulled him out.... Can you tell I love him to death?

The ending was great too.. I just think the order of scenes should have been switched. I think it would have been more meaningful if after Cap fell into the water, they did all of the SHIELD scenes and Fury asking Falcon to join him and Black Widow talking about how she's going to find herself and THEN did the scene with Bucky pulling him out of the water and maybe someone like Falcon could have found him. That scene was just so emotional and symbolic and it felt so final!

Things I Didn't Like

This is a very short list so bear with me! First of all, I didn't like the beginning. I do kind of wish it hadn't been as boring as it was as I didn't care much for Cap's crisis about how he should run his life. We kind of saw that in the Avengers but as soon as Fury got attacked, it picked right up. Secondly, I hated that Hawkeye wasn't in this movie! Plenty of cast made small cameos and I wanted one of him especially when he's a huge part of SHIELD! When they were meeting underground and either Fury or Maria Hill (can't remember who it was) stated that these were all the people they could trust, I was annoyed! THEY COULD TOTALLY TRUST HAWKEYE!

And finally a tally of all the times my feels were hurt!

1. Cap goes to the Smithsonian and looks at his exhibit. He watches the video with Peggy and she talks about how she married someone else.

2. Peggy has Alzheimer's and is talking to Cap and then suddenly starts crying because he finally came out.

3. Fury "dies."

4. Falcon tells Natasha and Steve that they're not alone.

5. Bucky is revealed and Cap is stunned.

6. Natasha shot.

7. Bucky is remembering who he was/who Cap was and they memory-wipe him.

8. Natasha asks Steve who Peggy was.

9. Hydra killed Howard Stark.

10. Natasha being threatened with the pin (shock to sternum thing).

11. The final fight scene with Bucky and Cap.

12. Everytime Cap gets stabbed and/or shot.

13. Cap falls into the water and is downing.

14. Bucky saves Cap and pulls him out before leaving him on the beach without staying until he wakes up.

15. When Cap tells Bucky that he will stay with him "until the end of the line."

16. Bucky learns who he is in the Smithsonian.

2, 3, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14 and 15 were the worst. I had tears in my eyes during Cap's speech and when Fury is pronounced dead.

So after that super long review, I will conclude with, I loved everything about this movie. It was much sadder than I expected it to be but it was still amazing. I love Cap and I loved this movie. Hydra here was much better than the Red Skull and much more impactful which is why I think it was better! A good movie always needs a good villain. If you haven't seen it yet, I would highly recommend going out and watching it!! Over and out.

Reign Season 1 Episode 9 Review

Alright then! Now onto my post on Reign!!! So when I saw the previews, I knew this was going to be a very sad episode for me because I am a Frary shipper and the promos were very Mary/Bash centric. I don't even know their ship name.... But I kept an open mind and leapt into the episode. Overall the episode was very sad but also very creative. I really enjoyed the plot twist and the turn the show is taking although I don't completely agree with it! Now if you haven't seen this episode, come back when you have! Spoilers ahead!

Okay so this entire episode revolved around Bash and Mary as I stated before with slight tones of Francis. The episode started with Bash and Mary being captured fairly quickly. They returned to the castle and Mary was confronted by Francis but she stayed strong and refused to fall for Francis's adorable speech. Catherine came to her and was angry that she returned. According to her, Henry was never going to let her go again because he wants England. And that is true. Henry gives Mary an ultimatum, either she marries Francis or he kills Bash. Mary decides that the only way to save both and leave would be to tell Francis the truth although Catherine is very against it.

Francis thinks that the prophecy is nothing but superstition (as it should be) and wishes Mary would let him make his own decisions. Her mother is also not on her side. Scotland wishes to rule England as well. Distraught and at her wit's end, Mary offers another way out to the king. She tells him that she wants Bash to be legitimized and made heir to the throne and then she will marry him and they will rule France, England and Scotland together. Henry is intrigued but does not think it will work because Catherine will not agree to an annulment which is the only method to legitimize Bash.

Francis learns of the offer and rushes off to the dungeons and gets into a fight with Bash about Mary only to be interrupted by Mary herself. She begs him to calm down and tells him that marrying Bash was her idea and he only knew of the prophecy. Francis tells Mary how much he loves her and wishes that she would see past her stubbornness. Catherine devises of a plan to kill both Mary and Bash so that Francis will stay heir to the throne and alive. Unfortunately for her, Henry is already five steps ahead. He agrees to Mary's conditions because he's always liked Bash and Diane better than Francis and Catherine and because he wants England.

The line of succession after Bash would still be the same as long as Bash and Mary have no children which leads to Catherine's plans being unveiled in front of the court. Francis tells Catherine that if any harm were to befall Mary, Bash or Henry, he would know it was due to Catherine and as his first act as king, he would execute her for treason. Catherine gives in and tries to escape the castle as she's afraid that Henry will kill her to avoid her interfering with his plans but Henry locks her up. Mary and Bash share a conversation about becoming the next rulers and she comforts him while he looks to be in a daze at the idea that they will marry as soon as Henry returns from Rome where he will try to convince the pope of the change in line.

Now that the recap is out of the way, my thoughts! So I really hate stupid Nostradamus and his stupid prophecies! I don't want Bash and Mary to marry. I don't want them to rule. I don't want them to fall in love. But at the same time, I loved their interactions in this episode. I really like their friendship and how much they are willing to sacrifice to save Francis. I also think this plot twist of Bash becoming king is really interesting and I'm sure it will result in many fun storylines. But Francis's stupid adorable face was so sad in this episode! I almost cried for him in that scene in the throne room where he tells Mary of the future he saw with her and how once he was jealous of Bash's freedom!

Honestly, I think that Frary is endgame. I think Francis will stay heir to the throne and I think they will marry one day. I think that all of this Bash stuff is just a roadblock for them. Honestly I do love Bash's character but just not with Mary. I don't really understand the "love triangle" in this show. There really isn't one! Mary loves Francis and sees Bash as a friend and a way to save the man she loves. Maybe they'll make Bash/Mary's relationship grow as the episodes continue. But if that happens, I think we need to learn a little more about Bash as a person first. His character is supposed to be the bad boy but we haven't seen it. He's honestly just Francis's hotter older half-brother.

Okay so overall, loved the episode but hated that it destroyed all my Frary feels. I will stay positive though. I can wait. I waited two and a half seasons for Klaroline so I can wait for Frary to finally be together. And possibly watch a lot of Frary Youtube videos... Don't judge me. And that's all for today!!! Vampire Diaries 5x11 Thoughts

Hi everyone. So I'm going to be doing a post for the Vampire Diaries episode last night because I need to comment on it. My feels have been broken from the show. Let's start with the Vampire Diaries.

So first and foremost, congrats to TVD on 100 episodes! Now onto the episode itself. Overall I was extremely excited to watch the episode because it seemed like a lot of awesome stuff was going to happen. And after watching the episode, I have to say overall it was a great episode but one sad thing overshadowed the rest for me. There will be spoilers below so if you haven't watched the episode yet, go watch it and then come back!

First off, I really liked the whole tribute to Katherine drinking party thing. It was hilarious to see how much terror Katherine placed upon them! I also liked how Stefan was all sweet to Katherine and wanted her last moments to be peaceful but at the same time, it was also hilarious that Damon was there to gloat over her death like the ass he is!! Her flashbacks were kind of boring though but the one about Stefan was cute!

Also I soooo called it that Katherine wasn't going to die! She's just too much of an awesome character to do so! And I knew she was going to jump into Elena's body from the moment Nadia talked about jumping into another body and she said Stefan likes this body in the midseason finale episode! I do like how they held off on that until the very last minutes because it kept you guessing! The appearance by "Elijah" was cute though too although I wished that he had actually been there. Did it hint at the fact that Katherine still has feelings for him or they've spent so much time together that he's like an old friend?

Bonnie and Jeremy didn't do too much in this episode but Matt did! I laughed when he was attacked by Nadia and used as blackmail. It's pretty obvious now that always happen. He might as well wear a sign that reads Vampire Bait/Blackmail. I did think it was cute though that Rebekah saved him although I wanted to see more of Rebekah and Matt interacting other than a smile...

Speaking of relationships, I used to so be on the Elena/Damon ship but now something about their chemistry has fizzled. I didn't enjoy most of the scenes revolving them or discussing their romance. Expect the one in the beginning when Damon was drunk at the Mystic Grill. I laughed so hard when Jeremy and Matt talked about him like he wasn't there and then he called Matt a dumbass. Stefan was really sweet about their relationship. He's like practically over Elena and it was nice of him to offer advice to both halves of Delena. I wonder who his next love interest will be? Still Katherine but in Elena's body?

And finally. The part that overshadowed most of the episode, at least for me. Klaus and Caroline reuniting! You knew this was coming! I saved the best and most emotional for last! I was really really excited when I saw the promo with them together and I heard they were going to kiss but honestly I was just happy they were going to interact. So when he appeared and he followed her and they talked, I was buzzing with joy. THEN he made his speech. His stupid speech. His speech about how he would never come back if only Caroline told him the truth about how she felt about him. So then she starts talking about how she doesn't want him around because she's starting a new life and he clouds her judgement but then she kisses him. It was really cute and Klaus smirked in the hottest way. Then I'm assuming they went at it in the forest.

Now all that I didn't mind. What broke my heart was the fact that Klaus promised to leave Mystic Falls and never go after her again. I am really really hoping he means that he won't come to her but she can still come to him and he will wait. I really hope that she will go to him one day, ready to face her feelings for more than a one-night stand sort of deal. I really hope Caroline continues to think about Klaus and doesn't get back with Tyler who came back (Yay *Rolls eyes*). It's not just a thing of I love Klaroline, I just really hate Tyler. Caroline can date whoever she wants, be it Klaus, Stefan, Enzo, just not Tyler. Please TVD gods. Hear my plea!

So overall I loved this episode! There was a bunch of cameos from dead characters of the show! We finally got Klaroline (I'm going to ignore the speech and think about their kiss)! Rebekah and Elijah appeared! Katherine is still alive! Tomorrow I will be posting my review on the Reign episode from last night!!!
