Arrow has been on point this season and I'm definitely glad for it. Diggle is back on the team and showing up the recruits like nobody's business. Church is finally gone and it looks like Prometheus will be stepping up.
Wild Dog was tortured into telling Church that Oliver Queen was the Green Arrow which he felt really guilty about so Oliver had Diggle talk to him and get him to calm down which worked and they were able to find out what Church's plan was. Church hired some thug to attack Oliver but since they were able to save Wild Dog, they were able to plan for this.
I knew from the title of this episode that someone would be taking the place of Oliver this episode and that he was able to disguise himself as the target so I didn't worry about Oliver being shot. Plus the fact that this is his show and he can't be killed or there's no more Arrow. But my question is that can the Human Target be able to take on the personalities of his targets? It was kind of ambigious in the episode cause he made it sound like he might have done some research and that's how he knew how to act but that wouldn't make sense as to how he acted like Oliver all day without Thea his own sister realizing something was up.
Also the whole thing at the end with the reporter who was given a hint that Oliver was in Russia made little sense. Just because the Human Target had a job in Russia didn't mean that he was connected to Oliver. I thought the source was going to tell the reporter that Oliver's bodyguard was John Diggle who served with the Human Target or something. Also this reporter is really obnoxious and I really hope Oliver doesn't decide to go out with her. She clearly has some sort of personal stake in ruining his image/life. It feels kind of personal and just watch, it'll be something dumb like he turned her down in high school or made fun of her in college.
Ugh Felicity's boyfriend. I like how she was all this might be the real thing and I'm like no honey it isn't. You barely know this dude and he doesn't know anything about you. Plus the looks between Oliver and Felicity were not just friendly. This reeks of season 3 in the will they won't they thing again. I'm still waiting for him to turn out to be the bad guy somehow.
As I mentioned before, Church was finally killed. Oliver and the team were able to capture Church and his thugs but while he was going to prison, Prometheus attacked. He warned Church over and over to stay away from the Green Arrow and the ending was interesting cause I kept waiting for Prometheus to be like I already know Oliver is the Green Arrow but he didn't. For some reason, I felt like he already knew that information. I'm fairly certain that the person under that hood is someone from Russia, probably the guy who Oliver wanted to kill. My favorite theory is still that Tommy is under the mask but it's a longshot since Colin is working on Chicago Med.
Anyway, liked the episode overall. Next week looks fun. How long do you think till we get the reveal who's under the hood? I'd say midseason, maybe an episode before cause of the 4-way crossover.
That's all for now!!
xoxo Allie
