So after rereading my review of the Flash last week, I found that I was a little harsh about my thoughts. I still don't know why I didn't love the episode but I definitely didn't hate it like my review portrayed! Part 2 was good too but again nothing to write home about.
So Grodd did a thing and popped over to Earth 1 using a mind-controlled Gypsy and really did anyone think otherwise? There was no way she was evil. His big plan was to nuke the city and then take over but Barry stopped the nuke by speed typing in multiple codes to find the kill code. Isn't it funny how on Arrow nukes are digital while on Flash they're analog? I guess this was a way to keep the problem in Central City and not have Barry run to Felicity and ask her to help. Also was anyone else hoping that maybe Ronnie would be back to absorb the nuclear missiles? I did like the way they solved the problem with Grodd and rather than fighting him directly, they had Solovar come and beat him for them which was awesome! I was really curious about the rest of the gorillas cause what did Grodd tell them about why they were here on Earth 1 cause his big plan was to make the gorillas scared of humans but then why would they travel to a different Earth and attack one particular city rather than attacking cities in Earth 2? I guess we're not supposed to think about it tbh. I was wondering about where they would put Grodd and love how they were like we gave him to Lyla and ARGUS. Casually bffs with the head of ARGUS who is there to store all the crazies. They should have shipped him to Lian Yu with Slade. That would be funny.
Jessie and Wally are pretty cute but for some reason I never really expected her to stay on Earth 1 cause I figured Earth 2 needs a superhero speedster and because if she stayed, it would have made the whole Harry has to leave our Earth so we got HR idea moot. Now that she actually is staying, HR seems pointless tbh cause why can't Harry just stay so he can be around Jessie too? I assume it's cause he's got a lot of work to do in Earth 2 cause his name wasn't run through the mud there. I still can't believe that HR is the one version of Wells that the show decided to keep. I loved Harry pretending to be dying so Wally would feel bad about asking Jessie to move to Earth 1 and I was glad that he told her the truth cause lies and secrets suck on these shows and because I loved how she stormed in and yelled at her dad and Harry was all shocked and pretended like he had no idea what was happening. I kinda still wonder if he was telling the truth about being sick and was pretending to have lied so Jessie would stay on Earth 1 and not watch him die.... Talk about a dark twist! The final scene with Wally and Jessie was so awkward cause usually the scene that comes back after the Flash logo is something crazy and leads to the next episode so the cuteness between Wally and Jessie was kinda ruined cause I kept waiting for something bad to happen and lo and behold it was! I was totally expecting Wally to be running and then accidently run into the speed force cause I keep waiting for that to happen cause that's what gave Wally the leg up in the comics (it probs won't happen in the show cause logistics but it doesn't stop my brain from jumping there.)
Cisco and Gypsy were hilarious this episode too. I loved him talking to Caitlin about never finding a girl and honestly I love their relationship and how it's so platonic cause it's so hard to find a show with a male/female friendship that has no unrequited love or hints of romance! On the other hand, I'm not sure how I feel about Gypsy being the one for Cisco. She's fun and all but I want someone better for Cisco who lives on this Earth! That being said, I loved their awkward kiss and Gypsy's line about how he wouldn't be able to handle her and everyone else's reactions to the kiss and Cisco's little I'm going to marry that woman. He really has the worst luck with women doesn't he? Lisa Snart who's a villain, Kendra Saunders who left him for her reincarnated love and now Gypsy.
Talking about love, Barry proposed to Iris and straight up it felt so out of nowhere! We've never seen any hints that Barry was thinking about marriage and is it just me or does it seem really fast? They've only been dating for half a season..... Do we think that this wedding will actually happen? Or will some artificial drama pop up like it did for Olicity (forever bitter) to stop it? I think they should bite the bullet and get Barry and Iris married cause I would love if for once there was a happy steady romantic relationship on tv without all the fake drama. (Sobbing in a corner for the lost Olicity relationship.) It was kinda weird that the show ended before we got to hear Iris's answer which kinda leads me to believe she said no....
Next week is Savitar's return which finally. He's the villain of the season but it's been forever since we saw him. It looks like he's using Wally like he used Julian and Barry is losing his shit possibly on Wally. Poor guy. I wonder if Wally will be the betrayer that Savitar predicted or if this is just a red herring cause that would be too easy.
Tune in tomorrow for my Arrow review!

I'm a very vocal person who watches way to much tv and gets too invested in characters. If that's your thing, you've come to the right place!

Supergirl Season 2 Episode 14 Review
Mixed feelings about this episode guys! I definitely enjoyed this episode but it broke my heart too!
Let's talk about the elephant in the room first! Jeremiah was back and although I loved seeing the Danvers' excitement for his return, I was waiting for him to turn out to be evil or working for Cadmus the whole time cause I agreed with Mon El. Finding him was way too easy and he just seemed sketchy from that first scene in the DEO when he kept talking about how Cadmus hurt him for helping Kara and Mon El. It was heavy on the guilt trip and no parent would do that! I hope we get a better explanation on why Jeremiah is working with Cadmus cause from what I can gather, I'm assuming it has to do with protecting Alex but how is the question. Is he planning on throwing everyone else under the bus cause there's no way that Cadmus would let Supergirl go so it can't be protecting Kara. Speaking of, is it possible that Cadmus knows that Kara is Supergirl cause if Jeremiah is working with them, he wouldn't have to keep Kara's secret identity a secret anymore.... I hope the show touches on this fact cause it seems like a huge deal! The scene where Alex let Jeremiah go made no sense either. I understand not wanting to kill her father but why couldn't she shoot him in the leg or enhanced arm? He would be fine and would be unable to escape. TV shows always do this and I'm always left sitting here wondering why. That aside, I love Cadmus and Lillian and I'm going to be sad when they go cause every episode that has them in it is amazing.
Winn was amazing this episode from his bromance with Mon El to putting a tracker on Jeremiah. I loved his scenes with Lyra. Winn is just such a dork around her and it's pretty hilarious. I loved him believing Mon El or at least keeping an open mind about what he said and that he told Mon El to treat Kara well. That scene where Mon El came to Winn for dating advice killed me. I wasn't expecting Jeremiah to steal the alien registry (not only cause I actually didn't know it existed) but it made sense in the end cause I figured anyhow that he would be stealing files on aliens and Supergirl so it all ends up in the same place. I loved how exasperated Winn was with everyone. It's like he's the only one with any computer skills.
Oh Mon El. What will I do with you? I need this bumbling around to end after tonight. I love him but this whole not listening to Kara thing needs to end. I understand why he was suspicious of Jeremiah but that whole Kara wanting to keep things private and Mon El going out and blurting it to the DEO almost immediately was irritating as hell. I do appreciate that Mon El despite being an idiot half of the time recognizes he's an idiot and apologizes every time and he's definitely trying which is props to him but there's only so many times that he can make the same mistakes over and over that I (and probably Kara let's be honest) can handle. Also while we're on the subject, can Mon El for the love of everything that is good, tell Kara the truth about Daxam. It keeps coming up and by now he should know that secrets do not help and that it's better that Kara hears it from him and not someone else? Although on that note, Mon El mentioned that his father was a terrible person tonight. Do we think he might have been abusive (emotionally or physically) towards Mon El?
Now that we've gotten past this, let's talk about how completely adorable he and Kara were in the opening scene. I was not expecting Kara to sleep with him based on the way she acts but good for her! I loved her awkward embarrassment when she returned to the apartment with flowers for Mon El and I loved how happy she was around him. It was extremely sweet. I also loved the ending when she told Mon El to hold her. It was everything.
Alex and Maggie had some sweet moments too when Alex introduced Maggie to Jeremiah and when Maggie comforted her after Jeremiah revealed himself to part of Cadmus. Was it weird to anyone else though that Jeremiah was all since no man on Earth is good enough for Alex, I'm glad she found a girl? Maybe this was just worded weird or I read the situation wrong but I was a bit uncomfortable with that. Poor Alex broke my heart this week. Kara was less hurt (although still hurt) cause Jeremiah wasn't her real dad but he was Alex's. She wanted to believe him so badly cause obviously if you love a parent and they return after being gone for so long, you want to be happy. Alex is going to kick Cadmus' ass so hard and I can't wait.
Next week's promo was kinda vague. I hope we get to find out what that thing Cadmus built was and that Jeremiah is captured so they can get some answers out of him! Alex looks ready to kick ass and take names! Also when is Mon El finally going to get a costume? Or is that black suit with the weird orange glasses it?

Agents Of SHIELD Season 4 Episode 15 Review
WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST WATCH???? Agents of SHIELD was losing my interest with the whole Superior thing but if SHIELD knows how to do one thing, it's knowing when to change up the stakes to shake up the show and recapture our attention!!! This episode had high stakes and I was on the edge of my seat all night and then the last few minutes aired and my mind was freaking blown! Let's jump in shall we?
Okay so first up, it turns out Fitz was a LMD too and it was actually Daisy that was human which kinda makes sense if you think about it cause Fitz was so calm last week and it'd be really hard to replace Daisy cause she is an inhuman plus the fact that she was under HIVE's control last season so it would feel like a bit of a repeat to have her be a LMD this season. It was heartbreaking seeing Jemma and Fitz fight each other and Jemma having to kill LMD Fitz and her face afterwards broke my heart. LMD Fitz was talking about marrying her and being together forever and guys all the feels.
Daisy and Jemma's meeting was so weird cause I was like why is there so much back and forth. If Jemma wants proof, Daisy could have just made a small quake in the air and then Jemma would have put her gun down and then Daisy could feel her bones but I guess that would have been a problem if Jemma was a LMD cause then Jemma could shoot Daisy knowing she wasn't a LMD so I was ultimately fine with what we got. Their hug was the sweetest and I loved how relieved they were. I love their friendship. Daisy convincing Jemma that everything was going to be okay cause Jemma and Fitz belonged together was so sweet.
The LMDs that AIDA sent out were really strange and hyper focused on their mission which made them kinda intense and creepy. I'm not sure how the other agents didn't gather that. I did like Jemma and Daisy's plan to gas everyone so that they could know who was a LMD and Daisy's fight with LMD Mace was amazing. I loved how the scene was lit and the fight choreography was amazing!!! I liked seeing the difference between LMD May and the other LMDs cause it was so obvious that LMD May was as close to human as she could be while the others were more unfeeling. I loved that she let the others go and blew up herself and LMD Coulson (and possibly the base but I don't think the explosion was big enough.)
AIDA went exactly where I expected her to go this week. Robots always end up coming to the conclusion that humans are the root cause of problems and plan to take them out. She killed Radcliffe and mutilated the Superior which kinda made me feel bad for him for the first time. Do we think he'll end up trying to kill himself cause he never wanted to be this even if his mind was untouched. It seems like AIDA despite thinking humans are weak and counterproductive to the Framework wants to feel human emotions like them. It'll be interesting to see what she does. I thought maybe she'd reprogram herself to feel emotions like the other LMDs or maybe she'll download Agnes' mind into her body?
The whole time Daisy and Jemma were planning on escaping, I kept wondering what about all the inhumans they called to the base. I was worried that they'd show up and be murdered by SHIELD making inhumans turn on SHIELD but YoYo somehow ended up on the plane with everyone so I guess we're supposed to assume that someone sent out a message for the inhumans to stay wherever they are not that that will help cause the LMDs will have data on their location anyway and may end up going one by one to kill the inhumans.
Now let's talk about the Framework and the twists that had me screaming. Jemma and Daisy entered. Daisy found herself DATING GRANT FREAKING WARD although I don't think she realized it tonight cause she thought it was Lincoln but the audience saw the photo. I was hoping it would be Ward that was back so I wasn't stunned but pleasantly surprised (more than pleasantly tbh, I was cheering!) Coulson is a teacher, Mack was in the middle of nowhere with a house and possibly a kid (Hope lived in this world?), May is working for Hydra and Fitz looks like some sort of gangster but JEMMA IS DEAD APPARENTLY cause we saw a gravestone. What does this mean? Jemma and Daisy said that there were avatars for both of them so why does Jemma have a gravestone? Did she fake her death? And more importantly in what universe or realm or alternate reality is Fitz with someone else who is not Jemma??
And the worst part is that we are going to take a break until April so we're left on this cliffhanger!!!!! WHYYYYYYY. Okay, it's fine guys. Everyone take a breath. We can make it five weeks! I am glad that the show is doing this soft reset of a sort. These last few episodes were dragging a bit and I'm so relieved that SHIELD realized this. It's hard with shows that have 22ish episodes a season to keep everyone exciting and having these storylines slightly shift though still connect to the past one is a perfect way for the show to keep viewers. But also BRETT DALTON IS GOING TO BE BACK AND IF THAT'S NOT CAUSE FOR CHEER THAN I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS! Can you guys tell I love Ward, whether he's good or bad or somewhere inbetween.

The Flash Season 3 Episode 13 Review
I was really excited to watch this week's episode of the Flash and though I enjoyed it, I think maybe my expectations were too high this week and that's why I didn't enjoy it as much I was expecting to. I keep feeling like every time the Flash does a comic book heavy episode that they never quite hit the mark and I'm left disappointed. Part of my problem is that I've watched all the justice league cartoons so many of the plots that happen in the Flash I've already seen so the small twists aren't twists for me and it's easier to show the fun stuff in animation cause you don't have to really worry about budget or CGI. Despite all this, like I said before, I did like the episode even if it wasn't my favorite.
It was awesome going to Earth 2 again. Some of my favorite moments in the Flash have to do with parallel Earths so I was pumped that we traveling even if we spent most of it in cells. I knew from the beginning that Grodd was playing everyone cause Grodd has never been a victim and from what I knew from the Justice League cartoons, Grodd was always trying to take over Central City and he tried to take over Gorilla City too while Solovar was the one who worked with the Justice League so I wasn't fooled like our team. I loved the fight between Barry and Solovar although it was hilarious to me that Barry couldn't fight on his own and needed Caitlin, Cisco and Julian to tell him what to do. I feel like at this point it's just a way to give everyone else stuff to do.
Julian killed me this week with how much second hand embarrassment I was feeling for his Indiana Jones outfit. It was sweet that he was going to Earth 2 to protect Caitlin. I still love the two together but I feel like the show is depicting them weirdly cause like apparently they're dating or something but at the same time they haven't kissed on screen yet. I kind of like how slow they're going cause it makes sense based on Caitlin's last few relationships. Also where is Ronnie. I'm going to keep mentioning it every week until he comes back!!! I was a bit disappointed that Grodd and Caitlin didn't have a bigger moment after she came to Earth 2 because of their bond. Maybe we'll see more of that next week.
Cisco didn't have much to do this week other than making jokes and opening breaches which was annoying but it's hard with so many characters I guess.
Joe and Iris didn't have a storyline either other than telling Wally that Jessie was probably just acting weird cause her dad was missing. I still don't really know what this drama between Wally and Jessie was. Jessie was acting really weird and the show wants us to think that it's all because Jessie was sad that Wally never called her after he got his powers. It was sweet that Wally asked Jessie to stay on Earth 1 with him but I'm not sure why they can't just live on their Earths and meet up for dates cause Jessie can open breaches pretty easily. But at the same time, she could always visit her dad whenever she wants and eventually she'd have to leave her dad in Earth 2 so Harry can't be too pissed.
Next week looks like the gorilla attack on Central City and I'm hoping that so little happened this week cause most of the budget went to next week!

Supergirl Season 2 Episode 13 Review
GUYS MY FEELINGS ARE POURING OUT OF ME! This was an AMAZING EPISODE! I knew I was going to love this episode last week after watching the trailer for the first time but I didn't know how much I was going to laugh and smile and get the warm and fuzzies. Guys I just love love. I love watching people fall in love and I think a huge part of me loves tv shows for that and I know it's totally cliche but I love Valentine's Day whether I'm single or not. This episode had everything.
Let's start with Mxyzptlk cause he was the main plot of the episode. I freaking loved him. Everytime he spoke, I was dying of laughter. I loved him showing up and zapping Kara into a wedding dress and showing up as Superman and dueling Mon El (dressed as Hamilton and Aaron Burr which killed me). I also loved the idea that fifth-dimensional people like Mxtzptlk were made into genies by humans cause they didn't understand what they were. I need the show to do this more often cause I loved the idea that legends in the world are based off of aliens! I loved the way Kara beat him and I felt bad for him in the end and how sweet he was when he said all he wanted was to be loved. I was confused for a second as to why he didn't just teleport both of them out of Fortress while the bomb was going because he was able to pull up a Kryptonian book but I guess he might have been too panicked to think clearly?
Winn and Lyra were so sweet too. I loved that she was another badass alien and that she is one that can't blend in cause I can already tell that it's going to lead to fun drama in the future. Winn is so precious that he never even thought that he might just want to use Lyra for sex. He was expecting to date Lyra and it was adorable. I hope this becomes a thing and isn't just a one time appearance for Lyra.
Alex and Maggie seem to be constantly hitting problems but I'm glad that they're being solved by the end of the episodes. There's nothing I hate more than drama that could be solved by talking! At first I thought Maggie way overreacted when she got mad at Alex for planning a Valentine's Day surprise but after she explained her terrible associations with Valentine's Day, I completely understood. How terrible were her parents to kick her out of the house at 14! Poor Maggie. I wonder if we'll get to see Maggie's family in this show and possibly see an apology from them or more hatred. I loved how Maggie reached out to Alex by the end and the Valentine's prom although unexpected (like why prom) was the sweetest and my heart was smiling and I was smiling and ahhhh.
And it just got better. So during most of the episode, despite me thinking jealous Mon El was hilarious, it got to be a bit much cause jealously is never cute in real life. I loved the argument Mon El and Kara had in the DEO cause they sounded like such a married couple which was amazing. I just wish Kara could stop bringing up the fact that Mon El is a party boy or has an ego or thought that he changed but that he hasn't cause honestly it's not making Mon El look bad, it's making Kara look like a dick. Mon El is trying and he is changing but change takes more than a few seconds and Kara needs to take a step back. But any annoyance I had with them melted in that last scene. I squealed when they finally kissed and I am so so glad that the show is pulling the trigger with them and not doing more of will they/won't they. But seriously, they're the cutest!!!
Next week looks great. Jeremiah is coming back and it'll be all about whether he can be trusted. I feel like based on the promo we got that he won't be bad cause the promos like to trick you but I kinda of hope he is brainwashed by Cadmus or something cause he couldn't have been captured for so long without Cadmus doing something to him. This would be a fun twist and it could lead to some great storylines down the road when they try to break the brainwashing. I also hope that we get more Kara and Mon El lite on the drama. I would prefer them to act normal around each other, maybe a little flirty but no drama. Kind of like Fitzsimmons this season of Agents of SHIELD or Barry and Iris on The Flash cause nothing kills my enjoyment of a relationship than tons of fake drama (looking at you Olicity).
Tune in tomorrow for my Flash and Agents of SHIELD reviews!!

Arrow Season 5 Episode 13 Review
Tonight's episode was Arrow was a deeply emotional one that felt more real than I expected it to be. The promos for this episode that aired last week were super vague and I think that's a good thing cause I really enjoyed going in blind and being surprised at what we got.
So the major plotline of this episode was gun control which unfortunately made the villain of the week simply a means to open up the discussion. It's always fun when Oliver has to be the mayor and it was nice seeing him working with the councilwoman to write a bill. I don't know if you all noticed but the bill was described super vaguely cause the writers didn't really want to explain what it was but I guess it's the thought that counts.
I enjoyed seeing Rene and Curtis debate back and forth and it's hard cause I could see both sides. I absolutely loved seeing Rene's backstory cause it's always fun when the flashbacks show us stuff from other people's histories besides Oliver. Some of the best episodes had those kind of flashbacks or none at all. I was so afraid that Rene's daughter was going to die but luckily she was okay and I totally understand why CPS would think Rene was a terrible dad cause of his dishonorable discharge but at the same time, the shooting was no way his fault. I hope Curtis is able to help him get her back.
Thea was back and I loved how exasperated she was by everything that happened while she was gone. Her reaction to Oliver dating Susan was perfect and he should listen to her. I almost vomited myself when Oliver was talking about what a great woman she was and all I could think about was her "research" on Oliver in Russia. I can't wait until Thea gets to put Susan in her place again. Also I love every time Thea and Rene are on screen together cause he just hits on her and she's like ew. How long until they kiss cause you know what they say about a thin line between love and hate.
I am seriously loving Dinah. It looks like she's going to be going around the Arrowcave members and having moments with all of them or at the original team Arrow cause she had a one-on-one with Oliver last week and one with Diggle this week. I liked that Diggle has basically become the mom of the recruits and he checks up on them and makes sure they're doing okay. I liked that he was able to convince Dinah to get an apartment and get a day job although I wonder if it'll be a conflict of interest for Dinah to become a detective on the SCPD. It's never been a problem for Joe but he's not a superhero. I thought Dinah was going to get a Black Canary costume but I guess she still has time.
Despite liking how heavy this week's episode got, I'm glad we're going back to a more comic-booky lighter episode next week with the return of China White and Cupid! We haven't seen China since like season 2 and Cupid is basically a recurring now which is hilarious. I thought we'd also get Helena cause the show name-checked the Bertinellis. I miss her!!
That's all for now!

Agents of SHIELD Season 4 Episode 14 Review
I wasn't a huge fan of tonight's episode despite loving certain moments throughout.
My major problem with this episode was with the Superior. He is such a moron and is so completely off base with his Coulson conspiracy theory that he's not even on the same planet as the rest of us. Every time he opens his mouth, I just feel embarrassed for him. I love Zach McGowan but of all the roles he could have taken, he chose this one? The Superior is neither threatening nor smart. I keep waiting for something to change and I keep thinking that it's not possible that he's so lame but I'm disappointed each episode. Like Coulson said, cool origin story bro but no one cares. I cringed at his backstory and how he kept repeating over and over that Coulson was the cause of everything and I cheered at loud at snarky Coulson. Also when Daisy came in and spanked his ass with her powers, I just shook my head. He's so lame. I really really hoped that this was the end of him but Daisy let him go after attacking him which I was confused about for a while cause why not arrest him??
I guess he's just supposed to be a misdirect cause the real villain is AIDA and Radcliffe which is much better but after this episode, I am almost certain that AIDA is going to go rogue. While Radcliffe is playing around in the Framework, AIDA was studying the Superior's techniques and I'm sure she learned to copy his inhumanity. Also she seems to be experiencing emotions and seemed to be oddly hurt by what the Superior said to her about being filth. Very very interesting.
Fitz and Simmons were awesome tonight too. Any time they get to shine is perfect. I love their relationship and how real it feels and how it's not all about the drama that most tv couples go through. They are an united front (most of the time) and even when they disagree, they're on the same side in the end. I really loved how Mack told Fitz that AIDA and the Framework were probably his fault and how Fitz, now that we know about his emotionally abusive father, believed him but was convinced otherwise by Jemma. I died when Jemma wanted to go find AIDA on her own and Fitz was like I'm slightly less concerned now that you're bringing Davis and Davis was like ouch.
The twist at the end where Coulson, Daisy, Mace and Mack were replaced by LMDs was awesome. I can't wait to see how Jemma and Fitz deal with them next week cause the two people Radcliffe should be worried about are together and fine and geniuses. I was afraid for a second that Fitz was the LMD when Jemma was talking and that he would hit Jemma as soon as she looked at the file so I was relieved it wasn't them.
Don't forget to tune in tomorrow for my Arrow review!!

Supergirl Season 2 Episode 12 Review
So who else loved this freaking episode??? The show gets so much better every time the Luthors appear on the show and it just goes to show you how much a good villain can make a show. I had been feeling meh about Supergirl since it came back from the midseason finale and it depressed me because I loved the show so much and I couldn't figure out what was missing for me this half season. After tonight's episode, I think I've figured it out. A good villain. The last couple of weeks despite there being a lot I enjoyed, the villains were throwaways. Well except for the White Martian episode. That was epic. After watching this episode, I am in love again. (Just in time for Valentine's Day right?)
So most of this episode revolved around the Luthors so we should probably start there! It was so great to see Lilian and Lena back again and I am in love with what the show is doing with Lena. Every time you think she's good, she gives off a hint that she's bad. Every time you think she's bad, she proves herself as good. It's great tv. Like I said last week, the best villains are the ones who you can see grow into villainy in front of you and who you can sometimes see where they're coming from. I was so sure all episode that Lena was good but that last moment with the chess set made me think twice. It would be so much fun if Lena was actually playing a long long con like James warned Kara about.
Since we'll never see the real one, it was so fun to see baby Lex in this episode. I also liked baby Lena and how crazy she seems already. Another piece to add to the evil Lena puzzle. I loved seeing Lex's bunker and I can't wait until we get to see this mysterious weapon that Lilian took. I'm glad she got away cause it would have hardcore sucked if she died in the explosion. Speaking of, it was smart of the show to power down Metallo by giving him synthetic Kryptonite cause last time Kara and Clark, Alex and J'onn needed to work together to take him down so if Kara did it on her own, it would negate everything that happened earlier. Although I was wondering the whole time why Kara didn't bring back up with her whether it was Mon El, James or J'onn.
Speaking of Mon El, what happened to him wanting to be a hero and working with Kara? I know she was jealous of Mon El and Eve but was that enough to keep Mon El off the streets? I would like to know if it was his idea or hers.... I love when they interact cause they're so different which Kara mentioned. You all know that I love the two of them together so it's no surprise that I enjoyed everything with them at the end.
Alex introducing Maggie as her girlfriend to everyone was amazing and I loved everyone's reactions to it. The fact that Alex was so scared to come out and now that she has and everyone is responding with nothing but love makes my heart smile.
Something about James this week just won me over! I have been pretty vocal about being indifferent to him but something about his Guardian story just clicked for me and I enjoyed seeing him kick butt. Even his chemistry with Kara worked for me tonight. Did you see his longing look at Kara? Someone still has feelings!
Next week looks so freaking good! It looks like a really funny episode and you know how much I love when the shows go crazy!! It's why Legends works so much for me. I can't wait!

More New Winter 2017 TV Shows - Riverdale, Poldark and Legion
As promised here are my thoughts on some more new Winter tv shows that I checked out! I tried to avoid spoilers!
So first up, let's talk about Riverdale! To tell you the truth, I wanted to watch this show for one reason and that reason was Cole Sprouse. I loved him growing up and I was super excited to see that he's back to acting after finishing school so of course I was going to watch whatever he was in cause you know I like to give shows with my favorite actors a shot even if they don't look that interesting (cough Conviction cough). Now you're probably wondering whether I was a fan of Archie and to tell you the truth, I only knew a little cause I was only able to read the Archie Digest in grocery store lines but I knew the basic premise. Now, two episodes in, I have to say, I don't think I'm a huge fan of this show but I didn't hate it enough to stop watching. It falls in where shows like the Fosters fall where I'm interested enough to binge the whole season once it airs but not so much that I'd watch every week. Maybe it's because I'm older now or maybe it's because I haven't watched a teen drama/high school world show in a while but this show was so cringy for me. It was cheesy and cliche and I'm sorry but I'm literally only interested in Jughead and the murder mystery. I care so very little for the rest of the cast which is probably the worst way to watch a show but I will be still continuing it so maybe in the future, I will warm up to the others... The triangle is boring already (and it's only episode 2), I hate teacher/student storylines with a passion cause they always come off creepy not romantic and I can already tell I'm going to be bored in the adult storyline world. I will say that the second episode was better than the first and the third looks more interesting than the previous two. I'm sorry that I didn't have a more positive viewing of this show so I'd give it a 4/10. Do check it out if you want a show that's a mix of Pretty Little Liars and Vampire Diaries.
This was a show that I never really planned on watching because unlike most BBC shows, I had not heard a lot about this one other than the fact that the main character, played by Aiden Turner, was smoking hot (and he was) but after watching Victoria, I decided to give this one a go. I binged both seasons in a week and after all that, I'm not sure how I feel. If I had written this post after season 1 or even midway through season 2, I would have nothing bad to say and I would have ranted and raved about how great this show was but the second half of season 2 did air and I did watch it and it soured me a little to this show. Before I get into spoilers, let me do a quick non-spoilery review. The scenery is amazing, Demelza is literally the best and Ross is amazing when he's not being a complete and utter ass. I enjoyed watching the villain be outwitted over and over and seeing how much family means in this show. The mining plot gets a little boring after awhile but it's fun sometimes too. I'd give this show a 7/10: 8/10 for season 1 and 6/10 for season 2.
Now let's do spoilers. If you haven't see this show yet, please stop and come back when you have. Soooo if you know me at all, you know how much I hate when people have affairs while they're married. It's not drama, it's just annoying and I have no sympathy for the cheater. Turn: Washington's Spies and Reign both played with this and it took away from my enjoyment. The fact that Ross could not choose between the two girls and then never apologized to Demelza for being a dick really pissed me off. And then he went around brooding about how Demelza wouldn't forgive him. SHE CAN'T IF YOU NEVER APOLOGIZE! I was glad though when they worked it out because despite everything, I do love him and them together. The other thing that surprised me about this show was how quickly Ross and Demelza got married, like it was four episodes in and that the rest of the show was less about them falling in love but more about Ross being a dick and not realizing how much he loved Demelza. Also was it just me or was Elizabeth literally the worst? She whined and whined about how she had to marry Francis and I was like girl you're the one who refused to wait for Ross and had no patience (TWICE). And then Francis died and she was all let me pinch my cheeks and fluff my hair and flirt with a goddamn MARRIED MAN. And then she slept with Ross and was all whiny about how he wouldn't leave his wife for her. Girl get it together please. I liked her during season 1 but then she lost any affection I had for her in season 2. But like I said, I did overall enjoy this show and I will be watching season 3 whenever it comes out!
So I love X-Men and Marvel and superheroes so when I heard that there was going to be a tv show with mutants I was really excited but then I found out what the show was about and I was worried cause it didn't sound like something I was interested in. I prefer my superhero shows to land somewhere from Supergirl light to Agents of SHIELD dark, no more no less. You know I've got problems with the Netflix shows and that really boils down to one thing, the darkness. Superheroes are fun not gritty and I really don't like when shows/movies double down on the darkness cause that's not what I'm attracted to this world and unfortunately because of that Legion was not my cup of tea. I'm sure there are people out there that will be into the show but I will not be continuing this show. I'm so sorry. I did not like the main character and I did not like the plot of the show. I couldn't even get through the whole episode without changing the channel. I know I should give this show at least three episodes cause pilots are always rough but honestly not a single thing kept me interested and without any interest in the show, I cannot convince myself to continue. Most shows even if I'm not a huge fan of them, I can at least find something interesting and unfortunately that was not the case here. I'd give this show a 1/10....
And that wraps up my thoughts on the second batch of new winter tv shows that either aired now or I watched recently. Thanks for tuning in and let me know if any of you are watching any of these shows!
xoxo Allie

Arrow Season 5 Episode 12 Review
You guys!! This was an awesome episode of Arrow!! Congrats to all the DCTV shows I've watched this week kicking major ass! I love episodes in Russia and I love when the original Team Arrow get moments to bond so it was a perfect recipe for success!
Let's start with Quentin and Rene and Susan. I was surprised when Lance came back tonight cause I was not expecting that but I'm kind of hoping that this puts the alcohol storyline to bed for a while. I liked the bonding Quentin and Rene did although this was an unexpected pairing. I was not sure how much help Rene would be but I liked the way they played off of each other and it was hilarious that they kind of had a Jim Gordon and Batman relationship in that Lance helped Rene out when he was young. I wonder if we'll see more of this.
I'm also glad we didn't need to see the interview cause the less Susan, the better. Can you tell that I really really dislike her? I still can't believe that Oliver was dumb enough to not only date her but sleep with her after what she did to Thea early on in the season. Excluding Felicity and Laurel, Oliver has the absolute worst taste in women. And now she knows that he's the Green Arrow. Good job Oliver. Good job. Also I half expected that when he was talking about letting go of the past, he was talking about Felicity so it was weird when he meant his past like his five years in hell cause he's never had a problem sleeping with other women before.... Then again, Susan was the one who thought he meant the island so maybe not. I need Felicity and Thea to team up and hurt her when it comes out that Susan is a bitch.
Speaking of Thea, I miss her. She hasn't been around for a few episodes which I get cause if she's not Speedy, there's little for her to do on the show especially now that there's such a huge cast. Although based on the end of the episode, it does look like the show is trying to thin out the cast at least until the finale arc.
I'm really enjoying Dark Felicity. I was screaming when she was blackmailing that Russian dude and she was so badass. I love when she does stuff like this. Having Rory and Curtis play Bratva backup was hilarious too but I was a little surprised about Rory caring that Felicity was using blackmail and tattling on her to Oliver about crossing lines. Since when does vigilantism frown on blackmail? She didn't hurt the guy physically but I get it cause Felicity is always so sweet. I loved Oliver's confused face when he caught Rory and Felicity in the van and the parallel between this nuke and the one last season. Also when Felicity fell into Oliver's arm cause she was so upset and when he tried to protect her from the explosion!! These small moments just make me love them so much.
I was surprised that Rory was leaving but like I said, the show must be trying to narrow the cast. Also I don't know if it's cause Emily Bett Rickards literally has chemistry with everyone (like Danielle Panabaker on Flash) but was it just me or did it feel like Felicity would kiss Rory goodbye? I was glad it didn't happen but at the same time, I'd be cool if it did..... It's going to be sad for him to leave though cause I liked Rory and I liked his friendship with Felicity. I hope he comes back. If we have to pick and choose, I'd rather Rene or Curtis leave. Evelyn too if she counts.
Also who really thought this would be the end of Helix and that drive? I can't wait to see Oliver and Diggle's reaction to this and what they'll think. Also when did Felicity give that weird girl her number and also why does she care?
The main storyline was technically about Walker but really it was about Oliver rejoining the Bratva to save Felicity and Diggle from making dark choices. I love moments when the three of them on screen and I love moments like tonight when you see how much Oliver loves them and how without them, he'd be lost. The three of them started all this. Although really Oliver, how surprised are you that Diggle lost it on that Walker henchman. Diggle isn't very calm under pressure when it's personal ie Deadshot and Andy. I liked that they show went full circle and brought back the drama that went down with that Bratva captain from season 2 when Oliver misused the Bratva. It's so nice to see that the show doesn't forget old moments. I'm looking forward to what this favor Anatoli wants from Oliver will be.
I'm kind of sad that we glossed over Dinah's big moments in meeting the team and seeing the ArrowCave although I guess we saw that early on in the season with Evelyn, Rory and Rene. I still would have liked to see it. She wasn't wearing a costume which I'm still waiting for cause I want to see which one she gets but maybe that'll be later on. I also liked the small moments where she talked about the team briefing her on Oliver and working with the guys to try to control her Canary Cry. I'm also thrilled that someone finally called out Oliver on his stupidity with Prometheus and believing that he was a plague. Literally every villain says that cause heroes care about that stuff.
In the flashbacks, Talia trained Oliver to be the Hood and tried to repeatedly convince him to return to Starling City and right his father's wrongs. I really really need the show to explain at some point which Talia cares so much about this. It seems weird and I wonder if maybe the League knew about Malcom the whole time and wanted Oliver to clean up that mess without them or maybe someone on the List was someone Talia wanted gone? I was wondering if this would be the end of flashback Russia and the Bratva but it doesn't look like Oliver's going to leave for a bit. The flashbacks really haven't been interesting since season 2, sorry show.
Oh and I almost forgot the fact that Walker literally went well there goes my scapegoat so now I might as well fully embrace my evil side? It would have been much smarter of him to keep pretending like he's the good guy and that Diggle was removed from prison due to corruption or something but nope. I guess the show did this to wrap this whole thing up in a nice little Argus bow. Not that I'm complaining cause as you know, I was not a fan of this storyline in the first place.
I don't really know what to think about next week's episode based on the promo. It looks good but I didn't catch any specifics about the episode other than the villain for this week can't be apprehended by the Green Arrow? Does that mean it's an Oliver-mayor villain or that the Green Arrow needs help like Vigilante help specifically? Either way, looking forward to next week!

The Flash Season 3 Episode 12 Review
Raise your hand if you loved this episode! I am so hardcore loving the Flash rn cause of how much Wally we're getting and how this show has started to give it's ensemble cast stuff to do other than being there for Barry. It does feel a bit weird though cause it feels like Barry could be phased out of this show with how Wally is stepping up but at the same time, this is Barry's show so I doubt that would ever happen.
Let's start with Wally! He's still my precious little cupcake (I say that even though he's older than me) but I will be so annoyed if he starts being like Barry and complaining that he's not fast enough every week. Like we got two seasons worth, we don't need any more. Also was it just me or was Barry a pretty terrible teacher? Like he never actually explained how to do stuff, only to do it. Even in the end of the episode when Wally finally learned to phase, Barry was just like you know how to do, believe in yourself. If this wasn't a tv show, Wally would never have been able to do it cause seriously Barry. When Barry talked to Wally about having great teachers, I thought they would be going towards Wally going to Earth 3 and hanging out with Jay for a while to be taught by a better teacher or for Wally to go into the speed force and learn there but nope.
Joe finally found out about Iris's predicted death and it was as expected in that Joe got really pissed but he handled it much better than expected so far. I'm sure he'll lose it in the coming weeks cause obviously we haven't milked the last drop out of this fear for Iris. Like I get it but do we need to cry about it every week? Also when Joe was yelling at Barry about not telling him cause he knows how much Joe loves Iris, I was worried for Wally a little cause he had a weird face on and I thought maybe this would bring up emotions from Wally about how Joe didn't love him like Barry and Iris cause Joe also couldn't pick between the Flash and Kid Flash earlier. Speaking of this, I was kinda surprised about how nice Cecile's daughter was. Maybe I'm programmed based on other shows I watch but usually meeting the daughter/son never goes well.... I loved how she was a Kid Flash fan. Girl me too.
Julian and Caitlin seem to be heading towards a romance even more after this week and I am so thankful that they didn't kiss at the elevators cause I thought that's where it was going. I did love how Julian got all awkward and jumped to say yes when Caitlin asked him out for a drink. As you know, I kinda love them but I also loved her and Ronnie and I know Robbie Amell is coming back this season and I can't wait for that. Does anyone know when this will be? Cause I need him back like yesterday!!! What I like about these Julian and Caitline over Caitlin and Hunter last season is that these two have a much slower burn and it feels more natural to see them bond over the powers they didn't want. Hunter and Caitlin were a thing cause they thought the other was hot. Also I don't know about you but why did Caitlin need to freeze Iris's arm? Couldn't they have used something else? The other characters on this show really don't seem to care about Caitlin and her fight against Killer Frost. It irritates me so much that if she really does become Killer Frost I would be thrilled and feel like they deserved it. Also I would cheer when/if she kicks their collective asses.
I can't wait for the next episode cause GORILLA CITY GUYS but unfortunately it's not back until two weeks from now!!! I am so super pumped to be back on Earth 2 and I'm thrilled that Grodd is back and that the episode isn't going to be about saving Iris cause a change of pace will be fun. It's going to be a two-parter and I'm so pumped! It looks like Caitlin, Barry and Cisco will be going so yay Original Team Flash!

Supergirl Season 2 Episode 11 Review
I'm sorry that I was unable to do an in depth review of last week's episode of Supergirl but I did post some of my quick thoughts so check that out if you're interested. Tonight's episode was a good one cause any episode revolving around the White Martians is awesome!
Let's start with the Martians cause that was the main plot of the episode. I am always in awe about how amazing the CGI for the Martians look every time they're on screen and tonight was no different! I loved the plotline of having a White Martian in the DEO and the team having to figure out who it was although who really thought the Martian would have impersonated the two random DEO members over our core cast?! I loved that the Martian hunting M'gann was her husband and I loved that there was a surprise twist in that there were two of them! I was a bit confused about the whole fire reveals your true form thing cause I thought fire was their weakness (as in it could kill them) but maybe the reveal is the first step to being hurt if you're exposed long enough? It was awesome that the two to stop the White Martians were M'gann and Alex who showed up and kicked ass like it was no one's business.
I'm sad that M'gann seems to be leaving the show but I guess it makes sense cause the cast was getting huge this season. But if this is a trend the show will follow, I'm telling you all right now that I will cry if Mon El leaves. Anyway I hope M'gann returns at some point cause I love her and I love her relationship with J'onn although I was so relieved that they did not kiss goodbye. It took me a bit to be okay with the fact that M'gann is the same age as J'onn unlike in the comics and it took longer for J'onn to be cool with M'gann being a White Martian so it would have felt like it was too quick if they kissed. The thing about these DCTV shows is that they're soap operas and kisses/sex are never just that, they're always a sign of feelings so they're a much bigger deal than they should be. I loved the way they said goodbye although I kind of wish it was mentally spoken cause that would have been cool.
Alex decided to ditch Kara on her Earth birthday for a date with Maggie and I didn't really like the way this storyline was dealt with. The show made it seem like Kara was the crazy one for wanting to spend time with her sister and that she was being selfish for not wanting Alex to hang out with Maggie. My problem is that if this were a normal day, I'd agree with that but it was Kara's Earth birthday and skipping a birthday to hang out a date isn't okay. I was glad that they were able to solve the problem in the end and Alex did end up with Kara but it was dumb in the first place.
Kara and Mon El had a thing tonight too. I still love that Mon El isn't acting too different than how he normally is around Kara cause I always hate the whole I'm so into you that I can't be around you cause you're not into me. People have more self control than that. I also kinda liked that Mon El "moved on" because let's be honest, there's no way his feelings for Kara went away already and also because I like that he's not just sitting around and pining cause Chris Wood is hot and he doesn't need to wait around for someone. I do kinda think the show should have waited until next week at least before showing him on a date with someone else but I get it. I also liked Kara's reaction and I hope this leads to some jealousy cause that's always fun.
It seemed based on her talk with Alex that she still isn't ready to date because she's afraid to get hurt but that really doesn't make sense cause Kara hasn't really dated on the show so why would she be afraid unless it has something to do with her abandonment issues. I love that the show is still playing around with this idea that they brought up in the beginning of the season. Kara also seemed to forgive Winn and James for their vigilantism this episode but I guess we'll really see next week.
It looks like we're going to get more Luthors next week!!! Also I'm sorry but I just can't see Lena as good. Katie Mcgrath is just too good at being bad for me to see her as a hero in this show. My personal wish is for Lena to be mostly good this season and then turn evil slowly. The best villains are ones that we see know well and can understand why they turned like Morgana on Merlin! I also want Mon El to get a costume already!! Also I want Supergirl, Guardian and Mon El to team up again like with Livewire cause that was badass. I really enjoyed this episode and I can't wait until next week!
Tune in tomorrow for my Flash, Legends and Agents of SHIELD reviews!

The 100 Season 4 Episode 1 Review
Hey guys! It's been two seasons since I last did a review for the 100 but that had to do mainly with the fact that I was not a huge fan of season 3 and where it went although I did do a top 10 episodes of the season post. I decided to give this show one more shot cause I did ultimately love this world and it's characters despite everything so I went into the season 4 premiere having only seen one trailer for it. I wanted a fresh and clear viewing without all the negativity last season and I found that I enjoyed this episode. A bit of time away from this show was exactly what was needed.
This was a very set-up episode cause it picked up right where the season 3 finale ended so that the viewers could see where each storyline was going to go.
First of all can we talk about how Zach McGowan is now in the opening title sequence?? Moving up in the world Roan. I'm thrilled about this cause I loved his character last season and more Zach McGowan is never a bad thing! He is now King of Ice Nation and the leader of the Coalition and the keeper of the Flame so basically he is the best and he rules everything. I totally thought he was dead after last season so I was thrilled that Abby and Clarke were able to save him tonight. By the way how on Earth did the grounders make it so far without these two? Like the idiot who was trying to heal him before was like patting a towel on his bullet wound and calling it a day. Although to be fair I suppose they never had to deal with bullets before cause the 100 brought bullets from space. Also of course Roan's people don't trust him cause he needs a storyline and it would be boring if the Ice Nation did whatever their leader wanted no questions asked. I'm rolling my eyes if you can't tell.
Clarke and Bellamy being a team is one my favorite things about this show. I don't care if they never hook up or if they stay friends, I just need them to be partners. Neither one can survive without the other as we've seen last season and they rule together as a team. I loved how Bellamy was the first person Clarke told about the nuclear power plants and how when everyone was asking Clarke what they were missing, she looked to him to get his consent too before saying anything. I'm so glad that the show seemed to realize this fact too and are keeping the two together and leaving the adults back in Polis. I was worried for a second that Clarke might stay back with Roan cause he trusts her.
Kane and Abby are staying as ambassadors or diplomats or whatever in Polis which is smart cause Kane is literally the best at being a peacekeeper and I guess wherever he goes Abby will follow although it would probably make more sense for her to go back to Arkadia cause there's a lot of injured to be taken care of. Kane and Indra's friendship also makes me smile in how Kane thought Indra was going to attack him when they met again and Indra just went in for a hug. Octavia is also staying back at Polis for some reason instead of going with Clarke and Bellamy because she still doesn't feel like she belongs anywhere I guess. Also I need Abby to take a chill pill and stop giving judgemental looks towards Octavia every time she kills someone. Octavia is badass and doing what needs to be done so Abby needs to stop.
Over in Arkadia where there's only Raven, Monty, Jasper and Harper left, everyone starts out happy and then shit hits the fan when Bellamy tells Raven about the nuclear plants and Raven then tells everyone. I really need this thing with Jasper to end. I thought we dealt with his depression shit last season but I guess not cause he was about to kill himself tonight until he realized that they were all going to die in 6 months so it didn't matter. He only knew Maya for a short time, move on already. Remember when he had a crush on Octavia season 1 and we all thought that's where his romance would go. I miss that. (Also I still miss Finn even though it's been like two seasons. #I'llneverforget!) Monty and Harper are still cute but I'm kinda indifferent to them. Raven is still awesome though.
I'm looking forward to seeing where this season goes and seeing the original group find a solution to the problem. It feels like forever since they've all been together so I'm thrilled. I hope we get to see more of Roan (cause I love Zach McGowan duh) without the politics please. I'm so over that after last season. Also less adults and more of the kids please cause they interest me more. But most importantly, can we please keep the characters in character and not make them do insane things that make no sense just because (I'm looking at you Season 3 Bellamy)???
Thanks for tuning in! That'll be all for now!

Arrow Season 5 Episode 11 Review
I'm not sure how I felt about this week's episode but there were pieces that really interested me and I look forward to exploring more in the future. Let's get into it!
So first up the new Black Canary aka Dinah Drake aka the original Black Canary in the comics and Laurel's mom. I know this has been the cause of uproar all over the interwebs but honestly I'm fine with it. I loved Laurel and I think Black Siren seems like a cool villain but I've never been the type to harp over comic continuity so to me it's fine if they replaced the Black Canary even though Sara is still around. I wonder if Dinah will become the Black Canary or if she'll come up with a different code name. Canary, Black Canary, White Canary, Black Siren.... We've had so many adaptations. She seems interesting so far although this episode was all about her backstory so I'm going to reserve judgement until we seem more of her next week. I will be interested to see her meet the rest of the team and see her suit up in whatever she decides to go with. How long do we think until Oliver sleeps with Dinah if he's back to his manwhore ways?
I don't know how I feel about Dark Felicity which is clearly where this show is planning on taking her cause I want Felicity to have storylines and I'm thrilled that this one isn't about a guy but then again Felicity is who she is cause she's happy and the light of the group hence my mixed feelings. I mean look at what The Flash did with Cisco and how much everyone hated it. Everyone already hates Felicity so I am not looking forward to the backlash the show will get with Dark Felicity. Although if she decides to go goth again, I would die of laughter. Speaking of dying of laughter, I love how when Felicity drops the fact that she was a goth in college that everyone always reacts like they can't believe it. It was fun to see her and Rory banter about the dark web girl and I really like the way these two play off of each other.
Diggle got out of prison much faster than I thought he would. I believe the charges were dropped by the end of the episode right? Or was it just bail? Either way if it was this easy, I'm not sure why they had to break Diggle out of prison in the beginning of the episode. Despite this, I'm very glad that this storyline seems to be ending cause like I love you Diggle but honestly this military storyline is painfully boring. I wish we could see more of Lyla and ARGUS though cause like you would think a spy organization which is run by the wife of the main Arrow team would be more helpful.
In the flashbacks, we saw Talia talking to Oliver about returning home and becoming the Hood. This was super interesting because of several reasons. Firstly, I was not expecting this Bratva storyline to be over so quickly. Not that I'm complaining cause I was getting kinda bored of the Bratva. Secondly is this all we'll see of Talia cause I thought she would be training Oliver in the flashbacks but instead it seems like she just came to give Oliver a wakeup call. Thirdly I noticed she never said that she was Talia Al Ghul which makes sense cause when Oliver meets Nyssa and Ra's he isn't like yo I knew your sister/daughter Talia. I know Katrina Law who plays Nyssa said in an interview that she would love to come back and have a scene with Talia and I really hope this happens. Do we think Talia will appear in the present day?
How funny was the moment in Central City when Oliver called Captain Singh and asked for details on Dinah and Captain Singh was like prove that you're the Green Arrow and Oliver texted Barry who sped through the office and left a note? I love that recently these shows have all been having little scenes in other cities/Earths just to show how connected the Arrowverse is. Flash went to National City and Legends and Arrow went to Central City. It's amazing and it makes me grin every time.

Next week's promo was super confusing and I don't really know what we saw other than it looks like we're back to Russia in the present day? And it's possibly a Diggle centric episode again (which I love). I'm looking forward to it.
Tune in later tonight for my The 100 review.
